Fun, better than sonic Advance!

This game I liked alot, because it takes a while to beat, but not extremely hard! Your bot, Emerald, is one you train with all the characters from the world of sonic, and after you fight a battle you usually get a move you can add to him, making Emerald with moves and colors from other characters. Not only can you do story mode, but you can do challenge mode and battle mode which you can do with someone who also has this game. There are 5 mini games that you need to unlock that don't require more than one Sonic Battle game. All you need is a cord, and you can verse other people. The best mini game is probably Soniclash, which is similar to beyblades.
I love this game, and recommend it to anyone who has a Gba. This game is worth new or used!

This game rocks!!!!!!!! I have had this game since chritmas and it is cool. I liked this game alot because you get to battle and all the charatars are sweet!It has alot of the normal charatars and more! The graphics are okay but you do get to run. And eggman is there like anyother sonic game. but this game is pretty cool. it has minigame and most of them are 2 player games. If you have had a sonic game before then you will see some normal charactars. But if you get to eggman you will die!!!!!!!!! there is a robot in the game and you can get upgrades by beating the heck out of the other charactars.this is a cool game if you do not belive me buy for yourself !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!............................ Well I can't say this is the first sonic game i have played. Not to brag but i bought this game the day after it came out. Good thing this is not the hardest sonic game that has come out. All this info had better tought you to buy this game or else! Did you learn that or not?????????????????? Well i do not want to talk to you all day. But this game is cool!!!!!!!!!!!!!! how many times have i said that??????????????? tell me now!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Did you get that info?????????????????????????????????????? you just have to smile like this :-). Sonic Battle-One of The Best!

First of all, I am not usually a fan of fight games, but since it was Sonic, I decided to give it a shot. Plus, I had heard that there was a pretty good storyline.

I can tell you, It definitely lived up to my expectation, even exceeded them!

First, I'll tell you about Story Mode. In Story mode you, (duh) play the storyline. There are several 'chapters' or something titled similarly, that you can play. First you play Sonic's chapter, then Tails', then Rouge, and so on.

I am currently on Knuckles' chapter, and this is the turning point of the game, where the AI enemies gets tougher and smarter. I have died, like, about 10 times already, and still am. That tough. Either that, or maybe I'm just an awful gamer. But, still, you get ambushed by three cannon-blasting robots who would love nothing more than to blow the fur off your character. Either way, It's tough, and the story is good enough to keep me coming back.

The story starts out as Sonic finds a robot washed up on the beach. Apparently, it grows stronger and smarter when given Chaos Emeralds, so Sonic dubs him 'Emerl' (Tails apparently found this to be awfully cheesy...and so did I)

Then, Sonic decides to teach the little guy to fight, and make him stronger. It's really cool, but the storyline gets more serious in later chapters, like Shadow, and finally, the fight against Eggman, where Emerl...Right. Like I'd spoil the story? Not a chance!

Um, yeah...anyway, then there's regular fight. Pick a character and duke it out full time! Totally fun! It's really fun to fight using Shadow, since he totally whips everyone. Or, then again, maybe it's just fun becuase I'm a fangirl...

The battling was a LOT better than my original expectations. I don't think I've ever had this kind of fun in a fight game. I'm glad that Sonic Battle allowed me to widen my choices when it comes to game genres, or whatever you call them.

So, all in all, definitely worth the money, but I wouldn;t suggest it for really little kids. The games gets pretty frustrating. And the end gets pretty sad. But, yeah, totally awesome. Anyway, I hope this review was helpful to you in some way. Later!

A GREAT GAME FOR THE GBA

This game rocks! I could not have dreamed for a better game to play while you would be stuck in a car with a girl who is 13 going on 30. This game has no flaws: the gameplay is cool there are plenty of characters, and (OW!? my sister is beating me up because I said she is 13 going on 30) the attacks are great. Even though I paid this no attention The ability to teleport (Now I wonder: Complete Dejavue With DBZ) after your opponet is batted away is messed up with Shadow, so I fixed it by teleporting (DBZstyle) then mashing A and then striking. 9.5/10 overall.

Better then sonic fighters

Sonic fighters(A.K.A Sonic champship) was a arcade game that I once played at a arcade but this is 100 times better. You can choose lots of charecters to play as and it so cool. There is blast and everything you need to make the perfect fighting game. I like to play the game when I am angrey so I can just take it all out. Also there is a new charecter in the game called Emrald who is a fighting robot that can copy pepoles moves which rocks. Each chracter has a special abillty that you can use and take out your oponet. Defintilly a must buy Sonic fan or not. P.S. I also have my owen sonic site at www.xanga.com/sonicfansite

While fun for a while, it gets tiresom after a while. I stopped playing by the time I got to the point in Rouge's quest where you have to beat her 5 times as Emerl, but if she beat you even once, you have to start the entire fight over again! So if you beat her 4 times,then she beats you, you're forced to fight her again!

All I can say is this: Ignore and buy "Super Smash Bros. Melee" for your Gamecube instead,even if it doesn't have Sonic.

SONIC BATTLE IS A LOT OF FUN.IF YOU'RE ANGRY YOU SHOULD POWER UP EMERL AND TAKE OUT YOUR ANGER ON SHADOW IN BATTLE MODE.THE GAME INTRODUCES EMERL AND PHI WHO BOTH DIE AT THE END.EMERL CAN BE UPGRADED WITH NEW ATTACKS WITH EACH DIGITAL CARD YOU GET.YOU CAN PLAY AS SONIC,TAILS,ROUGE,KNUCKLES,SHADOW,AMY,CREAM,CHEESE,GAMMA,CHAOS AND EMERL IN THAT ORDER.UNFOUNTANTLY YOU CAN'T PLAY AS PHI,EGGMAN OR GUARD ROBO.THERE'S MANY DIFFERENT MODES THAT ARE ALL VERY FUN.

This game is great. You can fight as Sonic characters. The gameplay is great as well. But there's some downfalls. Everything's in 2-D! But what I'm most upset about is that once you do Amy's Adventure game,it's almost impossible. Emerl is neat but sooooooooooooooooooooooooooo weak. When Amy,Cream and Emerl are doing a fight,you are Emerl. You stink,no matter what level he's at. The story is very intresting though. Overall,I'd say this game is great for a little bit.

A good direction for Sonic!

(How long have a played this game, I think the record place said 96 hours or something like that!) I was suprised to hear that Sonic was getting a fighter for the Gameboy Advance, quite different from the "run to the goal" Advance series. Personaly, I like fighting games (not the bloody ones, but you know, the Super Smash Bros. types), and had very high expectations for this game. It satisified them with high action fighting and a challening story mode. In this game you can play as a variety of characters from the Sonic universe: Sonic, Tails, Knuckles, Shadow, Rouge, Amy, Cream, and the unlockabel E-102, and Chaos. You can also play as Emerl. One thing I like about this game is that there seems to be no "Strongest" character (excuding a super experianced Emerl), it all depends on fighing style (Tails and Cream work best for me). The fact you can actuall heal is cool too, as is the fact you can customize your special attacks. In Story Mode, you have to follow the story line and battle set characters, in battle, you earn cards whihc represent different attacks from the characters you fought, and skill points. If you press R to go to the customize screen you can teach Emerl these attackes if you have enough skill points. There are even altra rare ultimate attackes! When you first boot up Sonic Battle, you can only play "Sonic's story" in Story Mode, once you beat it however, you earn Tails "episode", then Rouge's episode, ect. Every character has an episode except E-102 and Chaos. Battle Mode is my fav. Play a battle on any stage, with any characters, with many customizable rules. Challenge mode is where you battle five set rounds to earn the most piont possible. Minigames are also included, though only one is single player. My only complaint is that you can't do the "virtuall training" you encounter in Emerl's episode with anyone but him. The reason I gave duribility (can you even see that rating, it made me do it and educational value [which this game does not have] when I reviewed it - it didn't make me with any other game, weird) 3 stars is that it has a variety of bad gliches, having special attacks and healing stop working is the most often occuring one. Once however, it almost deleted all my data by itself. But, these gliches could be (and probably are) a result of my playing for 96 or so hours. i recommend this game to anyone who owns a Gameboy Advance, whether you're a sonic fan or not!
