Sonic Battle-One of The Best!

First of all, I am not usually a fan of fight games, but since it was Sonic, I decided to give it a shot. Plus, I had heard that there was a pretty good storyline.

I can tell you, It definitely lived up to my expectation, even exceeded them!

First, I'll tell you about Story Mode. In Story mode you, (duh) play the storyline. There are several 'chapters' or something titled similarly, that you can play. First you play Sonic's chapter, then Tails', then Rouge, and so on.

I am currently on Knuckles' chapter, and this is the turning point of the game, where the AI enemies gets tougher and smarter. I have died, like, about 10 times already, and still am. That tough. Either that, or maybe I'm just an awful gamer. But, still, you get ambushed by three cannon-blasting robots who would love nothing more than to blow the fur off your character. Either way, It's tough, and the story is good enough to keep me coming back.

The story starts out as Sonic finds a robot washed up on the beach. Apparently, it grows stronger and smarter when given Chaos Emeralds, so Sonic dubs him 'Emerl' (Tails apparently found this to be awfully cheesy...and so did I)

Then, Sonic decides to teach the little guy to fight, and make him stronger. It's really cool, but the storyline gets more serious in later chapters, like Shadow, and finally, the fight against Eggman, where Emerl...Right. Like I'd spoil the story? Not a chance!

Um, yeah...anyway, then there's regular fight. Pick a character and duke it out full time! Totally fun! It's really fun to fight using Shadow, since he totally whips everyone. Or, then again, maybe it's just fun becuase I'm a fangirl...

The battling was a LOT better than my original expectations. I don't think I've ever had this kind of fun in a fight game. I'm glad that Sonic Battle allowed me to widen my choices when it comes to game genres, or whatever you call them.

So, all in all, definitely worth the money, but I wouldn;t suggest it for really little kids. The games gets pretty frustrating. And the end gets pretty sad. But, yeah, totally awesome. Anyway, I hope this review was helpful to you in some way. Later!

Fun, better than sonic Advance!

This game I liked alot, because it takes a while to beat, but not extremely hard! Your bot, Emerald, is one you train with all the characters from the world of sonic, and after you fight a battle you usually get a move you can add to him, making Emerald with moves and colors from other characters. Not only can you do story mode, but you can do challenge mode and battle mode which you can do with someone who also has this game. There are 5 mini games that you need to unlock that don't require more than one Sonic Battle game. All you need is a cord, and you can verse other people. The best mini game is probably Soniclash, which is similar to beyblades.
I love this game, and recommend it to anyone who has a Gba. This game is worth new or used!

Great!

Woot!I loved this game,I still have yet to finish it.This is very different than any other sonic game I've played and I thought it was accualy pretty funny, the way...oh shouldnt give it away...well the gameplay is exelent, the graphics are great and the dialog can get pretty good.I enjoyed this game very much...But I was drawn to it because of shadows return!Anyway I do recommend this game especilly to those who have played dragon ball z GBA games, the way you fight is accualy fairly similar. Its fairly easy until you get to the last battle agenst shadow and sonic together...

If it were a fighters series it'd crown!

Many people may dislike fighting games. SEGA already did the fighting game style before but THIS time it's handheld!
To say myself, I dislike fighting games overall, but this is an exception; whether you like Sonic or not, whether you dislike fighting games or not this game should last you a long time.

The Emerl system where you get to customize your own fighting character is a neat system too. Along with comedic cutscenes with voices in between, the game should last you a LONG time, and a ton of replayability as well, definatly the largest Sonic game handheld yet.

Sonic Battle: Skill Collection, Innovative Fighting

I have to say this game is a definite buy; it has multiple appealing qualities. It has brute fighting action for the hardcore gamer, with an innovative 2D character on 3D arena battle system. Sonic Battle has the fun of collecting up to 308 different Skill Cards which can be customized into 21 different fighting techniques for Emerl, as well.

It also appeals to any Sonic fan because they have the choice of playing as one of many available characters: Sonic The Heghehog, Miles "Tails" Prower, Knuckles the Echidna, Shadow the Hedgehog, Rouge The Bat, Amy Rose, Cream The Rabbit, E-102 Gamma, and Chaos Zero, as well as the Sonic Universe's newest character, the robot "Emerl," also known as The Gizoid.

Average Game For Sonic Fans.

This is a very cool game. Play as 8 characters in story mode (Sonic, Tails, Rogue, Knucles, Shadow, Amy, Cream, Emerl).
When your fighting you will use the same attacks over and over, and they do get boring at times. The 2d rectangles in fighting are pretty cool! But once you have beaten the game you can't really play much more. In story mode you can customize Emerl's attacks by mixing other character's attacks. You can also fire ground shots or special attack. This game also includes multi player mini games and one boring single player. Story mode provides a small challenge and it talks half the time. Don't by
this game but if you wanna go ahead.
