Ok, I loved this game for all the reasons everyone else stated. BUT -I'm not letting my seven year old son play this because of some suggestive dialog between Sims. It's sort of hard to explain the phrase, "Let's lock tongues!" to him, and I don't want to! Besides that phrase there are a few others that are a little naughty and funny, but certainly not lewd. I might be comfortable with him playing this as a teenager, but I'm not there yet. So check it out for yourself first. You won't want to give it back to them anyway, it's too fun!
THE BEST PORTABLE GAME EVER!!! ALSO THE BEST SIMS GAME

Ok... Everybody loves Sims, but their reputation must have gone down after this disgrace. Sims for gameboy just stinks because of the gameboy's limitation.
First of all, the graphics don't live up to the computers. Of course we all know that, but it still contributes to disliking the game. On the computer versions of sims, we can assign our sim to do stuff, and then watch them do it which, strangely, adds to the fun of the game. While on gameboy, you can't zoom in or out, and you can't spin your view to look at what the sim is doing. They just do the same repeated movments, which just makes the tasks, like, "Get it over with..." like kid's chores, unlike the computer sims which you can watch them do it.
Second, there is no free mode, but on the more complex games of bustin out, you have a free mode. I'm sure that they couldn't do that due to the gameboy's limited capacity to hold infomation, but it still upsets Sim players. There is a certain amount of time you have to beat the game, or you get a game over. This is almost forcing you to do the boring goals and get it over with, with no reward at the end of the game. There is limited amount of time to do the almost fun stuff in the game. Besides, somtimes you have to go and ruin a relationship when you have gotten to really know a person in the game because of a goal, and then you have to spend a majority of the time rasing your friendship back up, which is irritating, because when you try to talk to them, they tell you to go away, there is BARELY any nice stuff to say to them... It's just plain annoying.
The sudden change of age group for the sims is also very annoying. Most of the sim games have been targeted at teens, while this game is targeted at 6-10 year olds. The makers of this game gave barely any warning of this before it came out, and they gave the sim addicts a boring game (Because the teens have seen a lot more fun games).
The simplicity of this game just makes it not fun. This is also one of the reasons that this game feels targeted to 6-10 year olds. You don't get to build your houses. The game just gives houses to you. Not much freedom is given. It just plain out stink.
Overall, this game stinks for the main sim players, but if you are a kid just dying to play sims, go for it. You won't get the full experience, but it is a start.
best GBA game ever made

Great for those of us who spend too much time working on a computer to enjoy playing on one too. Challenging yet not impossible; This game is great for those long road trips, flights etc. because every decision brings about a new twist to the goal.
Awesome Game!

This game is incredibly awesome! I've had it for two days and cannot put it down. I've already done about 35 days worth of playing (in the game, 1 day is roughly 12 minutes). The graphics are the best I have ever seen in a GBA game, and the depth is incredible. From exploring the town, to the mini-games, to interacting with the other characters, EA has hit a major home run with this release. Great job!
finally on the gba
