The Sims: Bustin Out is the first Sims for the GBA. Who would have ever thought it could be done? The console version looks so much better (obviousley) but the GBA is just as fun. It's just to bad that they don't have the "Free Will" mode on it.
There are 5 levels to the game with each mission getting harder. The game is basically a story mode/RPG game. The game runs like everything else. need to work on skills, make friends/keep realationships/popularity. Of course your needs need to be watched at all times as well.
It's about time The Sims get to leave their house. It makes it more exciting. Speaking of which, the scooter is alot of fun. Wheeeeee!!!!
The Sims 2 will be coming out for PC in February of 2004 and it looks to outdo the previous versions as Maxis is redoing the engine (3D). I only mention that here because I am hoping that they incorporate features from Bustin Out to Sims 2. Will they? EA and Maxis are keeping mum on most features.
In conclusion, The Sims: Bustin Out is an enjoyable game and I reccommend it for any Sim fan out there. If you have a gamecube then connect it to your gba and unlock Paradise island and transfer your sim back and forth from each version. If your just playing the GBA version like me, the Paradise Island is just mentioned and not seen.
Still a great game regardless of what you have and highely recomended. ENJOY!!!! Soong Soong!!! :)

This game is way more fun then I thought it would be. I like how you actually have to earn money now by doing the mini-games instead of just going to work for several hours like in the PC version. I like how you can move your sim around with the controler instead of just clicking, but you have to be dead on when trying to interact with an object. That took some getting used to, but now I have no problem with it. Haven't tried it yet, but I am curious to see what happens when you connect the GBA to the GC. From what I read you can play your sim on both systems. Definitely get this if you are a sim fan.
Much, much better than expected

I was extremely surprised how much I've enjoyed this version of Sims. I've played Gamecube and PC versions, but this by far is my favorite (haven't played online version). You lead your sim around via the control pad instead of having to click somewhere you want your sim to walk. You still have to take care of bodily functions and your home, but you have plenty of time to run around the town to complete your different missions in order to unlock more of the game. Try it; you'll definitely like it.

I received Sims: Bustin' Out for christmas this year. I own most of the games on my computer, and love each of them. I wasn't expecting the GBA version to be as good, but it is. The characters are funny and helpful, although they are sometimes misleading. You can choose your own look and personality, and own your own house. I think this game is really fun, but sadly addicting:) The mini-jobs are fun but dificult at first. My recommended ages would be 12+. (There are references to susicious substances and kissing options.) This game is super.
THIS IS THE BEST!!!!!

My daughter received GBA for Christmas. She received 4 games altogether. This is the only one she consistently plays. It is actually funner than the PC version (my opinion) because you don't have ten million things to worry about; you have specific goals to take care of. Graphics are good.
I love it

I love this game. It's very hard to put down. It's not very hard or very easy. It's just right. You start out living on your uncle's farm the you have to do a few simple goals and then you can move into the barn. One good thing about this game is that the game get a bit more challenging as you go on. It's very fun and i would recommend it to anyone about 7 and up.
The best game ever!!!

Wow, this game is hot! I like it a lot. It's preety fun.
And here comes the 'but'...
But... well, some games are ment to be RPG (role player games) and some aren't. The sims shouldn't be an RPG. This is a good game, but I was expecting the sims like the ones on the pc. This is a pretty good game, but I give it 3 stars only because I think it should be more than just a RPG that you can finish in 3 days. The sims are more than that; they never end. (Well, except for the upcoming Sims 2 in which you can die of old age). I would love it if they came out with a sims for GBA like the PC one!
Don't get me wrong, though, this is a great game.

This is a wonderful game it is fun and challenging if you want a game that you can play for hours and hours it is this.I originally played the pc version it was fun played for 5 hours a day it pretty much ruined my whole summer because all i did was play the game for the whole day.Playing that game made me gain 32 pounds in 3 months,But when i was playing that game i wished that you can go to work with the sims, drive the cars, wander around the town and buy pets.well now you can instead of the point and click you accually control them.
i would definetly suggest this game
By the way im not 12 its just easier to wright reviews this way sh!! ok BUY THIS GAME NOW!!!!
