This game is terrible Don't buy it. It is dark so you can't find the enemies. There is no saving feature. Don't buy it at all costs.

I have played Pitfall for 2 weeks now and it is a fun game that plays well but having to start over each time i turn the game off is a real downer. you cannot save any games. its fun to play but you have to go through each level over and over and over instead of having a save. therefore its only a two week game. i am ready bored of it and want to give it away..

The game would be fun if the lighting was better.....the player can hardly make out the screen (even with a wormlight).......enemies are on you before you know what even happens because the screen lighting is absolutely terrible.....not worth the money unless something is changed. Too bad because I loved the previous Pitfall and was looking forward to a great game.

DO...NOT...BUY!!!

One word...Pitfall

Two Word...IT SUX!!!
The graphics is below average, it should of been Game Boy Color. The plot is extremely childish. I mean save his dad. I don't even know the name of the character I am controling. The images are even childish. It looks like it was animated by Walt Disney. I have had this game for two months and I haven even spent 10 whole minutes playing it. It is the most disapionting Game Boy game since Turok. This game is below average and should have stayed on Atari. Do not buy it!

It's the pits....

Straight up, it's not worth the money. Not only is it clumsy to play, but it's incredibly boring. There are plenty much more exciting games to spend your money on. I can't believe ANYONE could find ANYTHING interesting in this game.

This is a quest through the jungles of South America, you are an explorer equipped with a short whip, a sling (slingshot), and a boomerang, against a jungle of animated snakes, spiders, deadly plants, quick sand, annoying monkeys and so on. The controls first of all are annoying having B as the jump button and A as the attack, L as the boomerang and R as the sling. Then next, the background graphics are so needlessly detailed, that you can hardly tell what is part of the level and what is part of the background! The animations are cartoonish and annoying, because its impossible to lets say do a small jump, the player will always takes huge leaps! The levels are very large and detailed, each has a different theme, but there are traps, where you can actually fall from the end of a level back to the beginning and have to do it all over again, making the game very tedious and frustrating! If you want a fun game, along this genre, take a look at the Gameboy Advance game, Lady Sia. Its also very unfortunate that I have given this game one star, because I have never given anything one star.

You'll get to know the beginning very well.

There is no save feature, so you have to complete the game in one sitting, and will become all too familiar with the beginning. The graphics are muddy--all greens and browns--and often the enemies are the same color as the background. It's hard to see anything and it has awfully tedious bosses! So, you just do the beginning over and over and over, because you keep getting killed by the boss. It .... Spend your money on another game; don't waste it on this.

You'd better buy another launch title...

Well, if someone is reading this, that person must be wondering which lauch title to pick. I had the opportunity to try this game via my friend's gameboy advance, and I was quite disappointed. First of all, the visibility is bad. The screen and graphics are way to dark so we end up dying just because we didn't see an enemy who blended in the background. And, there's no saving feature, not even password so you must finish the game in one sitting. Anyway, this game wasn't so great on the SNES, so why bother?
