I have this game for the PC and it sweet!! I had it since I was in 2nd grade (5 years now) and it is so awesome. There are great levels and it is really addictive. Not only that it is really fun. It is one of the best made platform games there is. So if you are looking for an excellent platform/adventure game, this is definitely the one for you!

This game is a good game. The reason i gave it a 4 is because the athor lanchtitles are beter then this one. If you like Pitfall get it if do but you like the athor games get the athor games.

You'd better buy another launch title...

Well, if someone is reading this, that person must be wondering which lauch title to pick. I had the opportunity to try this game via my friend's gameboy advance, and I was quite disappointed. First of all, the visibility is bad. The screen and graphics are way to dark so we end up dying just because we didn't see an enemy who blended in the background. And, there's no saving feature, not even password so you must finish the game in one sitting. Anyway, this game wasn't so great on the SNES, so why bother?

Pitfall fails

The game Pitfall for GBA is a very detailed yet the graphics are hard to see if yoiu don't have the proper equipment. For one, animals may come out of the ground that you wpouldn't know about. On top of this the sound could've been better. Pitfall is mainly about a boy whos father Pitfall Harry gets lost in the jungle. What you try to do is save Pitfall Harry. However thiscan be challenging becuase of the no-save feature. Once you have used the three lives you are given you have a chance to continue on, but you only get two continues. If you have used up all your continues you have to start again therefore the first two levels can get very boring. If you are planning on getting a game for your GBA I would reccomend thar you don't get this one.

The game would be fun if the lighting was better.....the player can hardly make out the screen (even with a wormlight).......enemies are on you before you know what even happens because the screen lighting is absolutely terrible.....not worth the money unless something is changed. Too bad because I loved the previous Pitfall and was looking forward to a great game.

This game is terrible Don't buy it. It is dark so you can't find the enemies. There is no saving feature. Don't buy it at all costs.

It is kind of hard, but it has good graphics. The screen is a little dark but it is worthit to buy this game. If you are buying this game for your self, you should buy it, but if you are buying it for a gift you should rather get something else.

Needs a SAVE feature!!

I bought this game because I used to have the OLD Atari version, and wanted to see how they could update it. The gameplay itself is pretty fun, but visibility is poor, especially in the third level mineshafts. Also, every time I turn on the darn thing, I have to start over from the beginning. That gets old really fast. Other than that, the graphics are great, and it's not difficult to play...but then again, I keep playing the same levels over and over and over...

You'll get to know the beginning very well.

There is no save feature, so you have to complete the game in one sitting, and will become all too familiar with the beginning. The graphics are muddy--all greens and browns--and often the enemies are the same color as the background. It's hard to see anything and it has awfully tedious bosses! So, you just do the beginning over and over and over, because you keep getting killed by the boss. It .... Spend your money on another game; don't waste it on this.
