This, I will say quite honestly, is a GREAT GAME!!! The graphics, in my opinion, are very well done. The selection of non-violent "weapons" is great too. It's highly addictive, but not take-control-over-your-life addictive. Some people say this game is really easy. I don't think it's exactly HARD, but it certainly isn't easy or anything. Though some of the tracks are almost identical, there really is quite a bit of variety. The characters demonstrate this as well--don't just look at the stars when you pick one!
I strongly recommend this game for 9 to 15 year olds.
Note for constricted budgets: You can get this game along with the Midnight Blue console for the price of just the console!

This game was great. There are 20 tracks (not including the secret ones) and eight possible players. The items are cool and the variety in track themes keeps the game intresting. There are lots of shortcuts and tricks that are not in the manual that can make you go faster and more effectivly. If you get sick of playing by yourself, you can play your friends with only one game pack. I don't have any other racing games so I cannot compare it, but I sure liked it a lot.

I bought this early on, and it was amazing! ALL the details blew me away, and the tracks were probably designed with great care. This is definatly a racing game for all ages, whether you like it or not!

This is a great game to start off playing when you have just boughten a Game Boy Advance. It is like the traditional Mario Kart game back in the SNES days. There are 20 tracks which is a good number, and different classes or whatever they are called. Anyone with a GBA should buy this game if they haven't already

When I first played Mario Kart 64 I fell in love with it and played it day in and day out. When I heard a Mario Kart game was comming to GBA I had to have it. The graphics are great and the sound and music will blow you away. Best of all the fun dosen't stop after you beat it. You can win a new cup and a new racer, Waluigi. My favorite part of this game is the multiplayer racing, where you and up to three friends can duel in four battle levels or race in all the one player courses. this game is so awesome and I highly recomend it. Buy it for your GBA!

This is a great game to pass time on road trips (trust me, I've had that experience many times) and for multiplayer. For the early stage of GBA game development, I must say this has very good graphics. The courses are colorful, detailed, and full of obsticles. The weapons are annoying when used against you (but then again, what weapon isn't in any racing game?) but not when used for your own gain. Overall, this is another one of the GBA must haves, in my oppinion, at least.

This game is simply amazing. I got this game in like, September 2001 and I still play it toady. Heres my review:

Graphics: 5/5
Simply the best graphics out of any GBA game to date.

Sound: 4.5/5
Music is fine, but just that, fine.

Control: 5/5
Classic MK control is great. Using the L/R buttons is genious.

Difficulty(easy, normal, hard, very hard): normal
Some courses get very challenging, but thats the fun of it.

Overall: 5/5
Best racing game for GBA, and best Mario-themed game next to Super Mario World. Great for a long car ride, plane trip, or just for playing at home.

Even if you aren't a Mario Kart fan, TRY THIS GAME AT LEAST ONCE! YOU WILL NOT BE LET DOWN! Race in many different worlds competing against the computer with 3 different challenging levels. All your favorite characters from the Mario games are here. Can't choose just one racer? Use the random selection mode! Race through the Sky Garden or conquer Bowser's Castle or, if you want, you can go back to the classic SUPER MARIO KART tracks! A great game! Here's how I rate it:

Fun= *****

Graphics= ***** (very good for GBA)

Sound= *****

Gameplay= **** (hard to control when you first start out, but you adjust to the handling of the karts)

Challenge= *****(3 different modes plus multiplayer!)

24/25 stars!

This actually was one of the first GBA games relased...but it is still one of the best. To start off, the graphics are awsome!!! and it as all the features as the original..like the red shells, bannana peels...YOU NAME IT. Also, another fun thing to do is race 2 player and the best part is... YOU ONLY NEED 1 GAME CARTRIDGE. your friend can play even if he does not own the game.

My brother got this game for christmas, and we have both enjoyed it a lot since. It has good graphics, neat tracks, and challenging secret tracks. The only reason I gave it a 4 is it gets a bit boring after a while, and it may be a bit too cutesie for people.
