The perfect pocket game!

This 3-D game has very good graphics and tons of levels! Race around many tracks! In this game, there are tracks, cups, and engine groups (groups where the racers around you are at different speeds.) There are 5 cups: Mushroom, Flower, Lightning, Star and Special. The Special cup can only be unlocked after beating the other cups. If you complete certain objectives, 5 new cups with bonus tracks can be played by pressing the L/R buttons. These cups have tracks that were originally released in the SNES 1992 game.
Since there are 10 cups total (the original 5 cups and the secret 5 cups) and there are 4 tracks in each cup, there are 40 tracks. But don't forget that you need to completed these cups in each engine group (there are 3 engine groups) which triples the amount of tracks, meaning that you will have 120 races IN ALL to complete. In short, you will not get bored. There are also 10 items and you can battle your friends or race against your previous time records in the Time Trial.

Definately one of the best games ever!

I LOVE THIS GAME! Ever since I saw the first commercial for it, (at [local store]) I loved it. I was dying to have it. I ordered it over amazon the 4th day after it came out. Everyday I would wait for it to come. When it came, I must say that I wasn't disappointed in the least. I started out slow, but now I'm an expert. For all you racing fans, this is a must have.

There are three difficulty levels: easy, medium, and hard (50cc, and so on.) There are 4 different cups you can start out with, each with 4 tracks. After you master each of these races, another cup (Special cup) will be unlocked. When you master that, more tracks are unlocked.

Apart from gameplay, you can also do time trial and quick play. Time trial is a race against the clock. You can save your time and also record up to ten different ghost datas. (It may seem confusing, but if you play it, you will understand.) The goal is to get the best time possible and try to beat your old ghost/time.

Quick run is my favorite option for practicing certain tracks. You pick one of the individual tracks to race on and just do a single race. The purpose of quick run is to practice and get better at racing a track.

For each race you pick a character. There are three categories of characters: lightweight, heavyweight, and in between. I like the in between ones like yoshi and luigi.

THIS IS A GREAT GAME! I recommend it to anyone.

Choose from Mario, DK, Bowser and five other characters and race on 20 new tracks. Race against your own best time in Time Trials, play in the grand prix ,or link up with 1 to 3 friends and play the battle mode.

With simple controls, winning gold medals isn't hard to master (with enough practice you will be able to master even the hardest level), but there is a challenge complete. Play the grand prix, and get a total of at least 100 coins on each of the 4 courses to unlock another course. Try to complete this on 50cc, 100cc, then 150cc.

The graphics are great, and this game is VERY fun. You won't get bored of this game for a while.

this is one of the best mario games out to date. i love how it kept all the characters from the N64 game but put in new tracks. and if u beat every cup you unlock a special cup with the N64 track (Donkey Kongs Track, Bowsers castle 4 out of 4, the track with the all the ghosts and broken bridges and rainbow road) this game earned a five star rate cause it is the BEST!!!!

This game is so cool. The graphics are just like the N64 version of it. There are all kinds of secret levels that will keep you busy for months. You can battle other people with the link. Different caracters will have different strenghts.Even if your friend doesn't have it you can race them still.

Play it Time and Time Again

Mario Kart Super Circut is a great game. The game is a good hit, concidering the GBA has only been around for a year or so. The game looks so much like Mario Kart 64 you wouldent think it could fit on a very small CART!!!! I think they Might come out with a recreation of the game Mario 64!!!!

I give it 5 stars because there are 40 tracks in all, you can play eack track on a different difficulty level!!!!

I got this game 4 Xmas 2003, and it is still one of my all-time favorites. There is a good variety of charachters and an extremely wide range of tracks and circuit races to choose from. Plus, if you beat all of the circuits, you get to play the tracks from SNES. (In my opinion, these games aren't as good as the ones on GBA).

The multiplayer is REALLY cool. The best part on the multiplayer feature on this is BATTLE MODE. This part is where you have 3 balloons and if they are all popped by your opponent, you lose. I did find time trials on this game to be a little tough. Nintendo did a really good job with transferring this game from the SNES to the GBA. I'm sorta dissapointed, though, because the tracks lack hills and other geographic factors that are on the N64 version.

This game is well worth the price and is perfect for a car, bus, or long plane ride. You'll want to play this again and again. BUY IT TODAY!!!!!

I almost gave this game 5 stars automatically because it has the words Mario and Kart in it... a shame that it doesn't deserve it.

Of course the graphics are great: SNES graphics on a handheld! No slowdown and very colorful. I liked the questionmark-blocks in the snes-version better though :)

The sound is ok. Nice voices but the music isn't as good as his older brother. It just seems so... uninspired.

And so do the tracks. They are very standard (except for that Indianshyguy-track :) and most important: too easy, even in 150cc. Also the questionmark-blocks keep respawning every few seconds so it's very hard to miss them and you'll blast yourself upto #1 in no time.

If you've won the gold cup in each race you can try to get a star/2 star/3 star-rating (to brag about against yer friends) A 1 starrating is do-able but above that it only gets frustrating: you'll have to pick up all the tiny coins (which are sometimes almost invisible because of the GBA-screen) AND avoid the sand, - 4 times in a row -

You wanna play the most fun mode in the game, the battlemode with 4 players? Not possible in singleplayer, only available in MULTIPAK-mode. That means that you'll have to find 3 other people with a GBA and Mario Kart. I wish you good luck finding them...

You'll be using the L-button (fire) and R-button (jump) a lot. Be prepared for cramps...

So all in all this game, although it sounds great, just doesn't delivers the charming fun of the SNES-version. I you really wanna play this, have you considered buying the original?

Marios back and he brought along 20 new tracks, Beautiful scenery, and the 8 classic drivers from mario Kart 64. This game will have classic battle mode and with only 1 yes 1 game pak you can link together 4 gameboy advances together and have the ultimate royale rumble!!!...

fun action!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This is definitly the first starter game to buy go as hard or as easy as you like great graphics exelent game play and action packed!!!!!
