Well, Super Mario Cart for the SNES(Super Nintendo)is one of my all time favorite games, and this game is...well not AS good as the 1st Mario Cart but it still RULES!!! It has most of the same charactors, and it has the same old great Mario Cart feel to it, and it has a bunch of new tracks and a little more chalenge than the other Mario Cart games had. So if you own a GBA or your thinking about getting a GBA than you REALLY REALLY need to get this game!

Graphics:

The graphics in this game are really good for a handheld, and it looks just as good if not better than the SNES version.

Sound:

It's the same good old sound as the SNES version and...well what more can I say about the sound???

Gameplay:

The gameplay is great, easy controles, great controle and even tho you don't have all six buttons that you have on the SNES you don't even notice.

Replay:

I've played this game a million times and not even close to being tired of it...

Another revamped classic, more challenge & fun!!!

Mario, Luigi, Wario, Peach, Yoshi, Bowser, Toad and Donkey Kong are back for another great racing game. The game is very easy to learn, big assortment of weapons (bananas, ghosts, shells, speed mushrooms, lightning bolts to shrink other racers) to get ahead and clobber other racers. The nicest feature to it, are the courses, because they did not try to recreate the same old courses in the SNES and N64 versions of the game. They took ideas and concepts from Super Mario 2 and made courses from them, such as Shy Guy Ship. The old favorite courses are still in it though, like Bowser's castle and the Haunted House. The backgrounds are intensely detailed, but if you take too long to look at the scenery you might spin out, crash or lose the race. You can compete in one of three difficulty settings, in four circuits which each with five tracks (there is a secret circuit too). The big age downfall is that there are tons of huge corners that drivers must learn different techniques to race around them. Not everyone can master these techniques.

WHAT DO YOU EXPECT? MARIO KART ROCKS! 8.5 OUT OF 10

Mario Kart is still hands down one of the best racing games ever made, and this Game Boy Advance version doesn't say otherwise. The graphics are still nicely detailed for a handheld game to the point of where it looks like a console game. The racing tracks are still awesome as they were in past iterations, the weapons are still excellent, the classic characters are still a lot of fun to play, and basically everything is still good. Unfortunately, it doesn't feel as good as my SNES and N64 Mario Kart games, it's still a lot of fun, but it just isn't as good. Still, it's one of the best handheld racers ever made, and there's no reason you shouldn't like it unless you dislike fun in general.

I would rate this 6 stars instead of 5. The graphics are like the SNES, it's just much greater. The game is fun when it's raining and you have nothing else to do. This game will brighten up your day. It's cool buy it now.

this game is great and it will keep you interested in it for tons of hours. there are great graphics and competition including koopa troopa (if you recieve him by getting A or better on all of the tracks not including the extra tracks). this is a definite buy.

Multiplayer is a near impossible option, but still a very good game

Mario Kart: Super Circuit is a blend of concepts from the SNES Mario Kart and the N64 Mario Kart, all squished onto a tiny GBA cart. For its time, its graphics were impressive, and they still look pretty good thanks to bright colors and consistent art design.

The music is catchy, the sound effects add some personality, and the overall presentation is very slick.

The gameplay feels more like the SNES Mario Kart but with some refinement. Coins still litter the tracks, which adds a metagame to the proceedings. In order to achieve high rankings in cups, players need to collect lots of coins, use items effectively, AND get good times.

The items are just as useful as they ever were, taking a page from Mario Kart 64 as far as their execution is concerned: items can be be held onto, thrown forward and backward, etc. The items are essentially a copy of everything from Mario Kart 64, and that's all that was needed here. The controls can feel a bit cramped after long periods of play due to the mandatory use of both shoulder buttons and heavy use of the D pad while the A button is held down the majority of the time. If you've played Mario Kart DS, the button layout will be practically the same on your DS. The physics, as with each Mario Kart, have their own feel this time, and are more reminiscent of the SNES title.

Lastly, and most importantly, the track design is superb. Not only are all of the SNES tracks unlockable, there's a full set of brand new ones, and many of them are some of the most clever in the whole series. The new tracks look great and play excellently, with plenty of curves and turns and obstacles, each one feeling unique, for the most part.

Mario Kart: Super Circuit main flaw is that multiplayer is relatively bust. You'll need AT LEAST multiple GBA and link cables, (can't do it on the DS) plus you'll want multiple copies of the game for the full experience. Players can't do Battle Mode against CPUs, either, which is a disappointment. That said, this title is still quite fun even with just its single player stuff, and is n my opinion one of the best GBA games out there and one of the top Mario Kart games. Give it a go if only to experience the sweet tracks and revisit old ones.

I love every aspect of this game, but there is no option to turn OFF
the Background Music. This is a major complaint I have about all
games. If you want to hear the sound effects only, you aint getting it
here.

One of the best on GBA

This, together with Mario Tennis Power Tour, is my favorite game on the GBA. And of the 2, this is probably the better one. Unlike MTPT it doesn't have the annoying RPG with all the endless conversation you have to endure. Mario Kart is all about fun and racing without prententious storytelling.

The visuals are beautiful and original. There's a lot of tracks to race, and to uncover more in a later stage. It's an easy to pick up, though it gets a lot more difficult later on. 3 difficulty settings (or CC), a total of about 45 tracks and 8 different performance ratings (from E until 3 stars) should keep you busy for a while.

One of the best games on any system.
