This game is is nowhere near junk, but it is lacking length (only five cups).

music - great, fits gameplay perfectly!

graphics - awsome graphics!,(like the beautiful ones in N64)

overall - pretty good, with over 20 SHORT levels!

A new spin on an old classic!

I am a 20 year old college student with a love for video games. Growing up, this game was a classic, and many of my peers (myself included) played this game religiously through high school. Basically, if you like racing games, this is the tamest of the crop. It's user-friendly for even the least experienced players (like my boyfriend!), and GREAT for experienced players (like myself). The best aspects of this improved version are the graphics, the sound, and the tracks, all of which are familiar but improved significantly. The handling and control are the same as the original, so seasoned players will remember how to play this game right away. This is one of the first two games I purchased for my Game Boy Advance, and I'm glad I did. If you like the SNES version of Super Mario Kart, this is no doubt you will love the Game Boy Advance Version of Mario Kart Super Circuit!

Nicely Created Game!

I highly recommend this game, it starts pretty easy to get you going but by 150 cc you are flying around the track at huge speeds. Its a very sweet game with huge replay value and difficulty that is up there. Any Mario Kart fan should add this to their game collection. Even if you havent played Mario Kart before This is a great game!

A Great Game!

This is the gold standard of cart racers. Often imitated, rarely duplicated, the excitement of the Mario Kart has been captured on the handheld. Playing with three of your friends is fantastic, especially if they have copies of the game, which provides all the bells and whistles of the title. The single cartridge game works great as well, with more basic tracks, and everyone being a different colored Yoshi. You won't be disappointed!

Hours upon hours of fun!!

I never thought this game would even come close to its big brother (MarioKart N64)but, it did just that and more. At first, I didn't like using the shoulder buttons to throw weapons and stuff like that but, I soon realized it was the key to success in the game. Whichever your favorite character may be, Toad is mine, once you sit down to play, you won't want to get up. All the original boards have been modified and are all equally challenging wheather you play on 50cc,100cc, or 150cc. There are even extra boards to be discovered once you earn the Kart cup. This is definitely a MUST HAVE!!

Best ever Mario Kart game!

So here is another entry in the Mario Kart saga. Whoop-te-doo, some might say. Not so! This is THE Mario Kart game to get. The graphics are Da Vinci-esque (especially in such a small system), the play control is unrivaled, and all the different items you can use make this a true gamer's dream come true. It's also good that you can choose from eight different characters to race as as well. The variety of the courses (there are twenty of them) is enough to get any gamer excited, and any owner of the Game Boy Advance system should be without, let alone a true Mario fan!

start your KART!

( my son is going to do this review) hi my name is Andrew and I am 12 years old. this game is the coolest racing game to ever hit GBA. in the game you can be DK, bowser, mario, luigi, yoshi, toad, princess peach, and wario. as you fight and race your way to the finish line! as you race you will be able too pick up weapons like ( I am only naming a few of them)the red shell, green shell, spiked shell, lightning, star, and much more. once you have a weapon you can shoot it at your target! you have to be in 4th or under place to get to the next level but that is only if you are playing for a trophy. you can do a Quick run insted or a time trial if you want to pick any level. my favorite people to play as are yoshi, luigi, and toad and I use other people to play too. well all I can say is that this is a good game and that you should buy it. oh and it also one of my other friend's favorites too her name is Claire. remember this is a fun racing action game it is really fun!

FUN FUN FUN I bought this for my daughter but now I'm HOOKED

My daughter received a Game Boy Advance for Christmas so we went out and bought a few more games. Mario Kart looked like fun in the store so I picked it up for her. Well, now we take turns playing it because I am hooked on it. This game is very addicting to kids and adults alike. With it's super graphics, energizing sound and fast paced action, it's hard to put it down. Definitely one of THE BEST games for GBA.

I am speechless this game is gotta be the best game for the gameboy advance except advance wars. The game has three different difficulties and in my opinion 50cc is to easy.Anyway the game has 50 levels and who would think they could squeeze 50 levels in this small game chip. The controls are very easy the turning depends on how much the character weighs. For example Bowser weighs alot and therefore it is hard to turn with him but on the other hand toad does not weigh alot so he is very easy to turn with. And then of course there are lots of characters to play with Wario,Donkey Kong, peach you name the character they probably have the character. And last but not least if you have a link cable and you have a friend playing with you you will be hooked. The Multiplayer options are great, the legendary battle mode and then of course you can always race with your friend on a wide variety of tracks. The ghoast trade is pretty cool but it is not that fun.The game has so many options it's got me hooked, and besides even if it did not have alot of options it would get a 4 star rating from me.

Nintendo missed the mark

This is a good game, but it left me wanting more. The Main 1P game is flawed. There 50cc, 100cc, and 150cc. Around an hour after first playing the game, I beat 50cc. All the new tracks revealed just like that. They should of took cues from Konami and added more original elements, because by 100cc and 150cc there really isn't nothing to open up, your just racing and unlocking the same tracks. But they did add SNES tracks when you get 100 coins. I never played the original game too much, but those tracks are a drag to race on because of the absence of the feather. Both new and old tracks, some are very simple, and really around 40% is just a varient of a previous track, so your not getting 40 types of different tracks to race on. I thought they would take a cue from DKR and add water and air levels, because with no characters to upgrade or get, the game will get stale quickly. The sound is too cutesy for me, although the quality is not bad. Control takes getting used to, but that also is about on par for a handheld. Multiplayer is well-done, but I don't get to use it much at all so... Anyways, I only recommend this to certain fans and newcomers, but a much wiser choice would be to pick up the overlooked Castlevania and Advance Wars cartridges.
