I returned Turok 3 after 2 days ,It's not that it's a bad game I liked the game play & the theme but compared to 1 & 2 it SUCKS!not what I expected at all! The graphics aren't as good niether are the weapons and plus I beat the game.now maybe I didn't see all that it has to offer in that short of time oh well,I should have seen this coming after that joke of a game Rage Wars was released.I do have 1 question to ask to the makers of the Turok games though( Where are all the freakin Dinosaurs!!!)man! for all of you die hard Turok fans out there ( like I am or was ) you might want to rent it first then decide

Turok 3 is a great game with more features than any of the past Turok games. There are new weapons and levels. You must decided who you will be at the beginning of the game. You can select Danielle, Joshua Fireseed's sister, or Joseph, Joshua's brother. Each has different weopons and skills. The game differs based on who your character is. Turok 3 is a great continuation to the past two Turok games. This game is really worth checking out.

LAST WEEK I BOUGHT TUROK 3 AND I MUST ADMIT, IT IS EVEN BETTER THAN THE OTHER TUROKS. THERE ARE 2 NEW PLAYABLE CHARACTERS NAMED DANIELLE AND JOSEPH FIRESEED. EACH HAS THEIR OWN WEAPONS AND ABILITIES. FOR EXAMPLE, DANIELLE HAS A GRAPPLING HOOK AND CAN JUMP HIGHER THAN JOSEPH, AND JOSEPH HAS NIGHT-VISION GOGGLES AND CAN CRAWL THROUGH SMALL SPACES. THIS GAME FEATURES 5 NEW LEVELS WHICH ARE FUN, CHALLENGING AND DETAILED. IT HAS AWESOME REALISTIC MOUTH MOVEMENTS AND FACIAL EXPRESSIONS THAT ALMOST MAKE YOU FEEL LIKE THE CHARACTERS ARE REAL. THIS GAME ALSO HAS MANY NEW AND OLD DETAILED ENEMYS THAT BRING THE ACTION AND EXCITEMENT TO LIFE. IF YOU ARE LOOKING FOR A GOOD ACTION GAME, I HIGHLY RECCOMEND THIS!
Don't waste your money!

As sequels go, this may be the worst of all time......the Godfather III of video games. What happened to the strategy, deep levels, and intense action from "Seeds of Evil"? Turok 3 is a HUGE letdown! The levels are too short, the story line, characters and weapons are unimpressive. Shouldn't game sequels evolve and be better than the ones that came before? Well, this one simply isn't. A future Turok release is hinted at, but I wouldn't expect anything spectacular based on this latest effort from Acclaim.
GREAT!

I've heard alot of pepole say, "This ain't as good as other Turok's." But, I don't agree. Turok 3 is one of the Best, Turok's out of the 4. It's pretty much a tie with, Turok: Rage War's. And, the level's are Fun. Not too long like Turok 2: Seed's of Evil's level's. There is also, a GREAT Multi-player mode.
Good to rent but not to own

I was immediately impressed with Turok 3's graphics. It starts in a war torn city scape. It's fun to run around and hide behind rubble, shoot at snipers etc. You go through a few different envionments including the "lost jungle" of the original. This part reminded me of a cool feature that the recent games have lost. It was originally Turok:DINOSAUR HUNTER! In seeds of evil it was dino-people, but now it's just people. There are some monster guys, even a couple of raptors in the lost jungle area, but nothing like the first one. The levels are fun and about the right length. I agree with a previous reviewer that seeds of evil's levels were just too long. I constantly needed to consult the map so I wouldn't run in circles. Even with the map it took hours to finish a level. That's another thing, it took me a week or so to finish Seeds of Evil (actually I gave up when it came time to go through all the levels again to get those final keys). I beat Turok 3 in 2 days. I was kind of surprised how easy it was to beat the bosses. Run circles around them while firing and you can't lose. All in all it was a very enjoyable game...but I definately would have this game listed on ebay right now if I were to have bought it.
Okay, but not much replay value.

Somewhere, the magic got lost in the making of this sequel. Like most Acclaim products, this software is glitchy and full of bugs. That aside, the levels are fewer and shorter, the game completes much faster (too fast, compared to earlier versions), and the weapons seem fewer than before. Even the multiplayer levels are tiny. Was Acclaim running short on memory for this cart?
On the positive side, the addition of two seperate characters with unique weapons and abilities is a plus. The graphics are good (with the expansion pak), and the objectives are not so nitpicky ... as they were in Turok 2. Like most games of this type, the playline is linear and secrets are minimal, which I find hindering and boring, personally.
Overall, I think your best bet is to rent this game a few times until you win and then return it. I hardly think that ... justifies a game that will be played only a few times and then retired to the back of the shelf to collect dust. Turok 1 had the magic, Turok 2 a little less, but this one has little innovation or improvement that I can see.
This game is good. No. Wonderful!

When I heard of this game from a friend, I thought he was talking about Turok: Rage Wars (which I thought absolutely ...). So I hesitated. When I went to the video store, I mosied over to the games section and realized that he was telling the truth. I turned on the game I was fascinated by the graphics and sound, But I was dissapointed with the game length. It is only five levels that take only about 30 minutes to finish. I beat the game the honest way, then I learned the cheats(whoever says that playing with cheats makes the game less fun is a lier). The deathmatch is much better than the other two Turoks. One more flaw is that there is not as much blood as Turok 2 or 1. I like my games extremely bloody and realistic. Also, the effects of the cerebral bore are not as good. Other than those flaws, I found this game excruciatingly entertained, and I definantly recomend it to everybody!
