xbox review

I think everyone who says an xbox is crap most likely havent even played one cause is they have they would of realised how good an xbox is. The graphics are much than on a ps2 or gamecube.The sound is brilliant and it has some of the best games ever out like halo or project gotham racing 2. If you are planning to get an xbox the games to get are.

What are you talking about? Everybodies saying that the XBOX is going to screw you up because it has a Hard Drive. What's the problem with that. You'll run out of space a lot slower than on a memory card. And it comes with the system. And if you do run out of space, which there is 30,000 blocks of it, you just by the portable memory unit. Guess what, XBOX has memory cards too. And they're only 25 dollars. About the same price as PS2's or GCN's. So stop slamming it and actually try it. You won't have to upgrade the HD. So give it up.

The XBOX is a great GAMING system. GO BUY IT along with HALO, Gotham Racing, MADDEN 2002. To be honest with you I was a little skeptical about the XBOX DVD playback capabilities. I own a high end Home Theatre and to tell you the truth the XBOX fits right in with the rest of my equipment. If you are looking for a DVD player and also want to play video games the XBOX is a great combination. I highly recommend DVD playback kit. (...) YOU WILL NOT BE DISSAPOINTED!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have played xbox a couple of times now, and my opinion is that this is an excellent system that could be better. With a processor of over 700 Mhz, xbox should have 0 loading time, but the opposite is true. The loading time is very long, and irratic. Other than that, i think the games Microsoft is offering has potential, especially Halo. The graphics are unreal and for a first system, microsoft has outdone itself ( it took Nintendo 3 systems to get a winner "gamecube"). The lineup of games that are out, and yet to come, are very impressive and this particular bundle offers a mix of games that will impact different people. I reccommend this system to somebody who is willing to spend a few extra $$$ for a great system.

Ok the gamecube is cool. So is the PS2 but the Xbox is much better. The controller doesnt cramp your hand like everyone says it does.This one guy left a review that said the memory runs out. If you have a memory card it wouldn't run out.The xbox is a little heavy. the only reason is because of the sound sytem they dropped in their. i bot mine on (...) but you might want to buy your at Amazon.com. if you want to buy a new game system get a XBOx.

Sure, the graphics are crisp clean virtual reality and so third dimension, and the gameplay is outrageously fun and will provide hours of fun for all ages. But one thing to remember, there's always a better system to be created, but why wait for something better?Take the X-box, play it out, and when something new comes along, buy it, repeat the cycle. I hope this was a valuable opinion. Believe me, technology will only improve. I got a nintendo, i got a n64, i wanted playstation one and 2, i got a dreamcast,and things only got better. Be sure to buy it before they make something new and never release anything on it again. I mean, who'd be dumb enough to create asuper nintendo or even a n64 game? Forget the game cube, buy this.

This I just wanted to tell you other gamers and sorry X-box owners something funny, notice on the top of this page that it says due to its unusual shape and size (that might not be its exact wording) now to the real point...
...really people game cube is the way to go. the box's controler is HUGE and cramps your hand after a while also notice its vomit green color of the X on the box. Also ever wonder why you have to buy it in a pack?!? Also notice its size...Four gamecubes could probably fit in it. so what if it has its own hard drive... ever thought about when that memory gets all filled up...
...no more saving your games. The dvd player, I really dont care about that feature, I have a dvd player of my own. The X-box has to rely on other companies for its games plus they stink!
While on the other side the gamecubes controler practicly melts in your hand!! its great!! Three inch disks, memory cards with a 59 block capacity! Better games a portable LDC screen acessory. ( the X-box is most likely to big for one of those) The cube is almost as portable as a gameboy. For pete sake it has a handle on the back!

another point- Bill Gates should have stuck to computer software and kept his nose out of the gaming buisness
