Finally a game system that delivers on all my expectations. All I can say is thank you Microsoft for listening to us gamers and implementing our desires, and producing the most advanced gaming system in the world.

So, everyone is saying Xbox is the best system, its going to blow Nintendo and Sony out of the water, everything is just so great! Well, I say, Microsoft needs to prove themselves in the console market before I go buy this system. I spent about 3 hours in Babbages today playing various Xbox and Gamecube games, and from what I saw and heard as people watched me, the graphics are not different from each other at all, except if you look at inter-genre things, like say Madden vs. Luigi's Mansion. Of course Madden looks more realistic, ITS SUPPOSED TO! Jermaine Lewis is a real person after all, Luigi is not. Now look at something like Oddworld vs. Luigi. Now Oddworld may look more realistic, but then again, is it a cartoon? Nah. Ok now that I've settled that, Ill go on over to those that say it's going to blow Sony and Nintendo out of the water. Whoever says that is SERIOUSLY underinformed, the only way they will beat Sony is if Sony pulls a Sega and switches to making only games. As for Nintendo, it's a much closer race but I think in the long run Nintendo will prevail. They have all the great franchises, Mario, Metroid, Zelda, Wario (A vastly underrated Nintendo franchise if you ask me), Perfect Dark, Conker, Mario Kart, Banjo and Kazooie. All these games were mega hits in their own rights but if you combine them all together they make an unstoppable force. Yes, all these games are either Nintendo or Rare but thats not to say they don't have any third party support, because they do. Now I ask you...what does Microsoft have? A degree in making business tools? Of course, I could be completely wrong, but only time, and marketing, will tell. But if I had to choose one system right now, which I did, it would have to be Gamecube, because I already have a PS2, otherwise that would be my choice.

Xbox is the best gaming console with the best graphics. It isn't as big as some people say it is once you see it. Some people say Xbox is weak, especially the Ps2 owners, that is because they are jealous that they wasted a lot of money buying their Ps2 instead that waiting and getting an Xbox which is better for the same ammount of money. Anyways, there is nothing like the Xbox.

its the biggest console competition ever. gamecube vs xbox. heres my rank. 1. GameCube: i've always trusted nintendo, they make the best games. im not dissapointed with gamecube. the games r not "kiddie" and the controller is soooo cofortable. great games wit the best quality. ca'nt ever be dissapointed 2. xbox: xbox turned out wrong. its not a game system, its an enertainment center. im a gamer and i can't stand to watch a movie more than twice so i don't need to pay 4 a (dollar amount) and a (dollar amount) remote. wut kind of gype iz that?!?! plus the games (stink). i played a football game, first of all the guys can't run. second off all they trow the ball too slow that i stoped playing it a minute later. the controler (stink) too. me haveing small hands can barly reach some of the buttons. plz don't waste (dollar amount) extra bucks 4 a dvd player that you can hadly fit into a shelf. go get gamecube. its soooooooooo much better. p3@c3!!!!

This I just wanted to tell you other gamers and sorry X-box owners something funny, notice on the top of this page that it says due to its unusual shape and size (that might not be its exact wording) now to the real point...
...really people game cube is the way to go. the box's controler is HUGE and cramps your hand after a while also notice its vomit green color of the X on the box. Also ever wonder why you have to buy it in a pack?!? Also notice its size...Four gamecubes could probably fit in it. so what if it has its own hard drive... ever thought about when that memory gets all filled up...
...no more saving your games. The dvd player, I really dont care about that feature, I have a dvd player of my own. The X-box has to rely on other companies for its games plus they stink!
While on the other side the gamecubes controler practicly melts in your hand!! its great!! Three inch disks, memory cards with a 59 block capacity! Better games a portable LDC screen acessory. ( the X-box is most likely to big for one of those) The cube is almost as portable as a gameboy. For pete sake it has a handle on the back!

another point- Bill Gates should have stuck to computer software and kept his nose out of the gaming buisness

Ok the gamecube is cool. So is the PS2 but the Xbox is much better. The controller doesnt cramp your hand like everyone says it does.This one guy left a review that said the memory runs out. If you have a memory card it wouldn't run out.The xbox is a little heavy. the only reason is because of the sound sytem they dropped in their. i bot mine on (...) but you might want to buy your at Amazon.com. if you want to buy a new game system get a XBOx.

Sure, the graphics are crisp clean virtual reality and so third dimension, and the gameplay is outrageously fun and will provide hours of fun for all ages. But one thing to remember, there's always a better system to be created, but why wait for something better?Take the X-box, play it out, and when something new comes along, buy it, repeat the cycle. I hope this was a valuable opinion. Believe me, technology will only improve. I got a nintendo, i got a n64, i wanted playstation one and 2, i got a dreamcast,and things only got better. Be sure to buy it before they make something new and never release anything on it again. I mean, who'd be dumb enough to create asuper nintendo or even a n64 game? Forget the game cube, buy this.
