This game was really fun. I myself love the Dreamcast system, too bad it didnt do too well. This game has definately been overshadowed by the "SSX" series for Playstation 2, which I admit is better, but this game was really fun. It has cool tracks, fun characters, and is overall a fun game to play. My favorite character is defiantely Bob the Rastafarian. This is a really fun and awesome game, with pretty good graphics. It's pretty easy to play also. Too bad this game and Dreamcast didn't do as well as they should have, but you can still get this game and Dreamcast at Amazon and other places. Check them out.

I bougth this for my eight year old son who loves this game and can't put it down. After you master a few of the coures you get new coures, new caractors, new boards, and different outfits. this keeps from getting board like other games. the other day while i was playing you find secret short cuts (of course by accident). Of course i can't put it down

Harder Than 1080 but Just as Good

Well I just went out and baught this game and I was really looking forward to playing well I got home and I started out by doing the Half-Pipe well I started out and I went up the ramp and I did a simple tail grab. Well I got bored of doing this small tricks so I tried some 1080 tactic go up in the air start moving the joystick all around and press some buttons. Well that didnt work either so I finally got the nerve to look in the instruction book and found all the tricks listed so I tried to do some of the advanced ones and harder tricks and well I couldn't land them but at least I could execute them in the air. So I have been playing for a while and I think that the graphics are great(alot better than 1080) bvut the controls are harder than [1080] So if you like snowboarding games BUY THIS ONE I know the title is really corney and the annoucer is reall cheseeeeeee but overall it's one of the best snowboarding games I have seen yet. By the way they also have a great selection of people and boards.

Hello Dreamcast has been out for about a month in Korea. All little ninos(Korean kids) have loved the game. It has nice Graphics adn great levels. I have not beaten all levels yet. I think it is a big seller in Korea. I recommend you getting it.

The best snowboarding game for the Dreamcast

This game definitely kills the hellish Trick Style in many ways. Strangely enough, there isn't a baseball game yet for Dreamcast.

This game offers a variety of tricks ranging from half-pipe to the backflip. The variety of characters are quite extraordinary. I am still awed by the 60 fps as well because it looks almost as good as ESPN2. Mimicing reality itself, the characters are quite easy to handle using the controller. That is unusual because most people dislike the Dreamcast controller. The virtua stick is perfect for the game I know. I highly recommend this because you could virtually do anything except scream and shout when you lost. :o)

The best snowboarding game around!

I got this game a week ago and I am still glued to this game 4-6 hours a day. This game has great courses, great boards, and unique characters. It runs smoothly and has great details in graphics and style. I recommend this to all boarding fans and all who like fast racer games.

Amazing graphics, highly entertaining

Being an amateur snowboarder myself, I found Rippin' Riders to be surprisingly fun to play. It's pretty easy to learn, but difficult to master. It took me about 10 hours to finish all the courses. One gaming tip: master the 720 spins and misty flips w/ grabs at trick points, because these will add 4-6 seconds to the clock.

Some minor criticisms:

- If you want to change one aspect of the current game, for example the board you're riding, you have to exit and choose everything from the beginning (player, outfit, board, stance, course).

- Unable to turn off announcer's commentary

- Not sure what causes new boards, outfits, or characters to appear. (Would be better if I knew what I had to do to get better gear.)

- Unable to play the computer in match race mode.

- Would be nice to have control over replay to see slow-mo and different angles, like in NFL2K.

Overall, I am loving this game and still striving to surpass all the high scores. Would recommend it without a doubt.

Great fun, but where is Time Trial?

I love this game and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a good time. I did notice right away that there was no way to practice the courses before you took it out for a run with checkpoints. It got highly frusterating at first because you did not know what lie ahead because you can not practice the course. Even when you beat the course you can't just liesurely go down the course because you have to reach the checkpoints.

As much of a dissapointment as that was I did love this game. The graphics are great and once you master the tricks they are so cool and so much fun. I played the half-pipe for over an hour just trying to beat the top score. It is not like other games where the scores are easy to beat. Due to no difficulty selection you have to be at least moderately good at the game to do anything. No one could just sit down and play it.

The tracks are extremely beautiful with many unique backgrounds. At a point in the game you are boarding on roof tops. The boarders are not very inspiring, but you get over that quickly. I wish there were more boards to choose from and some more original board designs. All of them look the same size and the same width.

This game was really fun, but it could have been the best game if it had a free ride mode and a difficulty setting. I hope this review was helpful.
