This game is saahh-weett. Awesome graphics, Awesome gameplay, Easy-to-learn-and-manage controls, and Just super fun to play over-all. It is even cooler because you and your friends can call each other and say, "Hey, let's all play against each other ONLINE and see who wins!" It is just a really cool game. Buy it! NOW! I not joking, buy it. What are you waiting for?! There is now better way, that I can think of right now, to spend however much it costs! So, JUST BUY IT! DON'T ASK QUESTIONS! BBUUYY IITT!! Have a lovely day! :-) ;-) :-)

Tony Hawk Pro Skater 4 is an awesome evolution of the series. It is probably the most complete of all of the TH games. The newest feature is online play. You can play online in many different mini games. The one player game has been changed as well. Now there is no timer on the goal and missions. It is similar to the format used in "Agressive Online". The goals are also more inventive than in the past. THPS4 has added features like street luge and car skitching, and even tennis with a skateboard. The skate park editor makes a return appearance as well and does not dissapoint. You can also upload and download skate parks with other people on the website(if you have a PS2 internet adaptor). The graphics, gameplay, and physics are all pretty much the same as past installments of the game. The reason I don't give this game 5 stars is my tilt. I have simply grown tired of the series. When me and my friend first played the original Tony Hawk I was blown away. Since then each sequeal, while improving greatly in each installment, has jsut been less and less magical to me. Some series I never tire of but this one I do. They should wait longer before making the sequeals in my opinion. Nevertheless it is a great undertaking for skateboarding fans and regular gamers. If you loved the TH series and want another sequeal then you will love it. If you have grown tired of the series like me, you still may want to pick it up for the online play, and skate park swapping. Either way you will not be dissapointed.
ab fab!!

this game has revolutionised extreme sports gaming and is a memerable addition to the tony hawk franchise. a whole new set of grabs, flips, grinds and special manouveres allow players to show off to mates and the new challenges keep old school gamers on thier toes. as you progress through the game the comedy style of play really shines, for instance the police challenges on london can be hillarius if you aggrivate the cops in the right way. all in all this game may not be for everyone particularly if you are not familiar with preveous titles but this is a must for hardcore skater punks.
Still going strong!

Okay, first of all, I have played and beaten every tony hawk game so far, (besides this one). So far I have loved the series and waited for the arrival of this game. When I put it in I got so pumped just watching the intro. This game has better graphics than the last, with a different concept. Instead of going into a level with a time limit and trying to do as many goals as possible, you skate around, finding people to talk to and getting goals. I would say that neversoft did this to make a different game. Don't get me wrong, the gameplay is 20 times that of the previous games. The best Tony Hawk yet? Definately...

Tony Hawk 4 for the PS2 is the best Tony Hawk game made yet. It has the all new career mode where you can pick your own goals. No long lists of goals you have to complete in two minutes, this time, you just find somebody and then start the goal. Tony Hawk seems to be inspired by a 70's era, with music on the soundtrack from AC/DC "TNT", Run DMC "My Adidas", and System Of A Down "Shimmy". All new awesome level design, all new locations like a College, San Fransisco, Alkatraz, Carnival, Shipyard, etc. For those of you who do not have Tony Hawk 4 but have Tony Hawk 3, GET TONY HAWK 4! It is the best skateboarding game ever! Buy it now for the PS2, X-Box, or GameCube. Hurry, before your local store or this website sell out!
Finally, a challenging game !!!

This is a great game, as everyone else has said. It is MUCH harder than the rest of the great series. All the skaters are good, the levels are Large, not to mention realistic. The story is much more challenging than grand theft auto vice city. The soundtrack just completely ... . The only 2 bands I like are Iron Maiden and Ac/Dc. Anyways, I love this game and if u like skateboarding this is just > for u.
if u want 2 get this game rent it first here is why

well ill tell u why 2 rent this game first: bad graphics, stupid challenges, gets boring really quick. The only good thing about this game is the selection of items u have when u creat a skateboarder. Thank u 4 taking the time to read my report.

This title is better than Tony Hawk 3, but alot harder. Activision 2 should have added a two player career mode. It would have made the game alot more fun. The tricks are awesome, alot of them are from the original Tony Hawk's. I am mostly a street skate boarder, I hate vert. I can't get a good 100,000+ combo with vert, with grinding and using manuals I can. Once you get to the shipyard the game gets hella lot harder. Shipyard suxors too. Some "missions" in the game are too hard to accomplish, with which I've tried over and over. If your new at this type of gameplay, it will take some time to get use to it. I would reccomend this to anyone of any age (Parents cough) Soundtrack needs ALOT of help (cough activision). The only bands or groups I have heard of on there is System of a Down, AC/DC and Iron Maiden.
