a surprising good game with a low profile. Zelda for PS2

Ever since I played Zelda 64 for Nintendo, I have been trying to find a game for playstation and playstation 2 that can offer an similiar experience. However, all those attempts of zelda clones like Dark Cloud, are dissapointments. Although this game do not have as many puzzles or the cleverness of the zelda game, but it does offer an experience as you'll get on PS2 or PSOne. It is really fun. It is really too bad it is not selling as well because it didn't receive kinda of publicity the other games did. The battle system is complex and fun and enemies are interesting. Every character has good voice acting. If it had more cinematic cut-scences and more dramatic viewing angles when characters are speaking, it might be more appealing to the funs of the Zelda or Final Fantasy series. It would also makes the story more interesting, and more like a console game rather than a pc game. Overall, the game is very enjoyable experience.

I really enjoyed this game. I started playing it right after I came back from vacation. Once I started, I could not stop. It took me about a month to finish it. After all, I have to work so that I can get more games. The graphics are good, the storyline is good and the movements are not bad either. For me the game was exciting from start to finish. Not a bad choice. I hope they make a sequel.

Drakan is a wonderful game. The balance in graphics of a number of dark, villian filled caves and flying in the beautiful, colorful countryside on the back of a dragon is so much fun. The final boss was difficult but not impossible. It's a good idea to purchase the healthmeter spell as soon as possible so you don't spend all of your money on health bottles and can upgrade your armor. The only improvement I would like to see in this game is the ability to refill the healthmeter without stopping and hiding out in the middle of a fight.

This game rocks i just got it yesterday and it is realy cool.For you out there who collect Playstation magazine the Bitter Touch sword is real and very cool!!!!Anyway the game has awesome graphics and music.And when you fly on Arohk its like you are actually flying.The only bad thing about the game is that you have to get a memory card because once you get in a cave at the begging you will have to save,or it will reapeat it over untill you save.But otherwise the game is awsome.I would reccomend it for anyone and everyone!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This is the most greatest game yet. The monsters and dragons are cool and the weapons are too. The people who thought this game was stupid well their just wrong!! I really thinck this game is wonderful, its the bomb!!!!

A little late for me to write this isn't it?No matter, I'm glad I got this game....Magic, gnarly weapons, and sweet chainmail on this vixen makes her just so much fun to play even without the guns and tight top you come to love of Lara's.The game has elements of great success:the ambient life forms presented as kilt wearing 'wartoks' or the multi-faced, multi-ugly desert lords.The game's transition from computer controls to Ps2's fit snug.A fluid fighting manueverbility coupled with lock-on are the keys to succcess but doc what you will, with the HUGE VARIETY OF METHODS TO KILL HOSTILE LIFE-FORMS.Cotrols,graphics,and sound are great.The dragon riding is fun, but sometimes becomes tedious when you're surrounded.Arokh's brain is fairly acceptable for an NPC, but he will SOMETIMES either get stuck by a gate and not simply fly over it or become lost to your cries or commands.I'm glad this is a lighter RPG, and has a chunk of freedom with it.Lara,is still loved,though-don't worry.

BEST GAME EVER!!!!!!!!!

this game is one of my favorite games ever. i bought it about two weeks ago and hade tons of fun.the violence has gone down from the last game but its still very good. even if you you go through the whole game you still wont find every thing in the game. an example of this is the amazing sword mournbringer. the only bad thing about the game is that it gets boring if you go in to every dungeon because they mostly look the same. but if you are thinking of buying it you should because it a very good game!

This is (by far) the best "cheap" games out there and worth a $50 price tag. It has just one error in the game: make sure you bring your dragon in the caves with you or you might become trapped 3/4 the way through and be forced to start over. Besides that, this game is an oustanding adventure with the best 'freedom of movement' I have ever seen in a RPG... meaning that some RPG games you have to do certain things exactly, but this game allows you to experiment with different things. This game is hard, but not too hard; this game is fun, while keeping it challenging. This game is a must buy for any person that like RPG's that have you controling a single person.... I wish they made this game into a movie.

This is one my alltime favorite games. The graphics for it's time are great, although they may not measure up to today's standards, they are still good. The scenery is awesome, lot of the game is spent riding on a dragon and it's really beautiful, lots of detail! Lots of variety in locations and quests, lots of sub quests. Lot's of characters, good storyline, great bosses. One of the best I've played.
