Did you like Power Stone? You will be blown away by this. Did you dislike Power Stone? You will like this. Had you never heard of Power Stone? This will change your world view of fighting games. The frantic action is a mix of just about everything from Virtua Fighter through Super Smash Brothers through to just about any Japanese anime you care to name. My younger brother and his Smash-Brothers-obsessed friends chanced upon Power Stone 2 the day I bought it: if they hadn't gone away to school camp, they'd still be playing it right now. This means I now, finally, get the chance to play it as obsessively as they did. 'Nuff said.
Fun cartoony action

This is not a traditional fighting game. Power Stone 2 is more like a cartoony anime come to video game. You get to use ridiculous characters with ridiculous weapons. If you get this game, do not expect any serious game play because there isn't anything in it that's serious. Just try to have fun with it.

This game is very cool and is very fun to play with friends! You can use up to 120 vechiels, weapons and things like that. Lots of characters and lots and of power stones! This game could use more levels or stages but it's still fun.
Cons- Fun for everyone Lots of Characters Lots of weapong
Bad things about it- needs more stages some weird camera angels

I guess reading my review you're going, huh? Well it's true. The game's boss is a guy who supposedly is saying something important but in actuality it just comes out as a drunken sounding sound effect. Well lets get off of this and talk about game play. Game play in Power Stone 2 is extremely crazy and fun with the only flaw being sometimes the camera is a little off of the action but other than that game play is perfect.

I played this game years ago and thought it was so cool, on a demo disc. I decided to waste $50.00 on this thinking it was obviously worth a lot of money for a reason. Was it? NO! The voices are extremely corny and the music is even more corny. But forget that, the game itself is corny.. You basically just throw barrells at other characters, what's so great about that?
Best game ever!

I am a not much of a gamer, but this game is my favorite. It is so much fun if you have other people to play with you. I wish they would make it for the new systems too! I definatly recommend it!

I just bought this game and from the begining I knew that it was a great game with lots of replay ability. I would highly recomend this game to anyone. It's only got 2 bosses that I know of and thats kind of a drag but other than that it's awesome. The difficulty level is just right for all ages. If you don't have this one I would suggest that stop reading this and go get right now!

The Power Stone series is best described as a hybrid of the fighting and platform genres. While still at it's heart a fighting game, Power Stone 2 introduces many other elements which deviate from your traditional fighter. The gameplay is completely 3-dimensional...you can jump up platforms, climb on walls, pick up a variety of different weapons, and even use vehicles such as tanks and gun turrets to dispose of opponents. Perhaps the best feature of all is the multi-player battles. Even though the action can get quite chaotic, it's still fun to blast each other around the incredibly colorful and detailed arenas. The Arcade mode should have been just a little longer, and unfortunately the simple controls don't allow for much strategy...but as a multi-player party game that anyone can jump into, Power Stone 2 is one of the best. If you are a hardcore fighting game fan, you may be turned off by the cheap gameplay, but it's great to have if for those times when you're in the mood for something a little less stessful.
