The game is entertaining, but lacks a lot. Mostly check points. It is very frustrating to get the end of the level just to have to start all the way over. Graphics are ok. You just have to give the game a chance and get used to it.
Awsome Tac game

based on the original hit game. jungle storm reaches new hights for the series. featuring prototype weapons and lone wolf single-player missions. its a game to be recond with.
It's not all that bad.

Now, I gotta say, this is the first Ghost Recon I've ever played. So it's hard for me to compare it to the rest of the series (except I've seen Advanced Warfighter, and I was not impressed). I had a fun time playing the game the first time around, but the re-play factor is not so great. I like the realistic approach to the weapons and tactics of war as displayed by this game. I also like how you can't survive this game by the stupid run and gun strategy that most first person shooters allow you to use. The graphics were pretty good, too. So this definitely is not the ideal game, but it isn't all as bad as some make it seem.
HUGE LET DOWN!

GHOST RECON IS ONE OF MY FAVORITE GAMES. THIS GAME AND GHOST RECON JUNGLE STORM ARE PITIFUL IMITATIONS OF THAT GAME. I PAID LESS THAN $4.00 FOR EACH OF THEM AND THEY STILL ARE NOT WORTH THE PRICE I PAID. BUY THEM AT YOUR OWN RISK.
this game was a waste of money.

the graphics are ok, but that's about it.
it's way too hard.i started out on normal difficulty, couldn't get 2 minutes into the first level,so i have reduced it to recruit difficulty(the easiest) and still cannot get past the first level.my idea of fun isn't playing a level 50 times before i can get past it.there is no health and no saving...you can't pick up extra weapons-- you can only trade yours for your enemies dropped ones-- it seems incredibly linear like R6 lockdown-- that game isn't that great either.
i have the first 'conflict desert storm' game and it is better than both GR2 AND R^ lockdown!!!
i don't think i'll be buying any more clancy titles--
THE ONLY THING THIS GAMES GOOD FOR IS YELLING AT!!!!!!!!!!!

Ok so I go to game crazy,I see GH2 it looked realy cool!IT SUCKS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The worst thing is that your elite team of "ghosts" are retarted enough to eat crap!!!!!!!!!!!! Just to give you an idea I'll tell you some of my laughs, what realy made me mad is the time when i was almost done with the first mission and all of a sudden there's only two dung heads following me around!!!!!! All of a sudden one of my team mates dissapears into thin air!!! So I walk around the level for an hour looking for a total air head!!!! Another time is when I wasn't even half way through a mission when all of a sudden one of my dummer than hell teammates stops and starts shooting round after round at a rock!!! I HAD TO RESTART THE MISSION FOR THE 50TH TIME!!!!!!!!!!! DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY ON THIS PIECE OF CRAP!!!!!!!!! AND IF YOU DON'T WAN'T TO LISTEN TO ME THAN HERES WHERE YOU CAN GET THIS PIECE OF CRAP FOR FREE, THE DUMP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Almost enjoyable, but in the end annoying

What I have to say has been said in a previous review, but I will say it anyway:
Part 2 has been changed to a single-team scenario so that, e.g., only your own team can be used in a support position, leaving you to run off on your own. The open terrain of the original and ``jungle storm" (ghost recon 1.1) has been replaced with a restricted path (with rare exception) along which you must travel.
These points would be overlooked due to the improvements: availability of processing power for smoother textures, motion, etc. However, there are 3 main problems with this game that make it infuriating:
(1) there's no longer the notion of sneaking (which is supposed to be the core purpose of a "ghost recon" squad), as enemies seem to know exactly where you are even when crawling in cover, and
(2) their aim is fantastic...they all seem to be on par with US marine snipers,
(3) some part of the mission ends up getting messy, and you have to go through the whole mission over and over to the point of boredom.
Bottom line: Tries, but fails, to stradle the action of a battlefield game like Call of Duty, Brothers in Arms, or Shell-Shock (Vietnam) with stealth games such as the original ghost recon and SOCOM: Navy Seals.
I wouldn't call this a sequel, since it is too different from the soul of the original games.
Socom is 100% better

If anyone ever compares the Ghost Recon series to SOCOM they are completely insane. SOCOM is so far and away the better game, Ghost Recon 2 is so linear it forces you to play every mission the same way. Your teammates are useless and will actually grenade themselves more often than not. At least in SOCOM they would follow your orders once in awhile. Ghost Recon just has you in front all the time getting shot at while they wait behind. You're forced to run into ambushes constantly and you can't leave certain sections of the map to try different attack angles. There are invisible walls set up to keep you trapped like a rat. Please pass on this series and stick w/ SOCOM 1, 2 or 3
Don't know?

I got this game but i haven't played it yet. I'm on vacation but I don't have my ps2. I read some of the reviews and some were good but the ones that weren't good worry me. I hope I'll like it. If i don't well i don't know. It may look cool but it might not be cool to play. I got it for only $20 so if it's not good I'll try online. Some people say online is awsome. Anyway I have to wait to play.
