This game is suppose to be awesome. I don't know why Target ain't got it yet. It's already out. Why is it temperarily Unavailable? They should get it very soon. When they get it go cop the game. 5 STARS.!! AWESOME!! Gamespot gave it one of the greatset ratings in HISTORY!!! 9.3 out of 10. Only few games have beat it..!!!!HAVE FUN!!!

Have you ever waited for that perfect game to just come to you. Well if that perfect game hasn't come yet go out and buy Freedom Fighters. These days it just seems like EA Games is just pumpin out one winner after another. The multiplayer capabilities are enought to buy this game for. The gameplay is intense and difficult, and the AI is very intelligent. The tracers and your team members all around you in the fight for freedom is just an unbeleivable gaming experience. I also own Conflict Desert Storm, and I must say Freedom Fighters comes out on top, with a SOCCOM US Navy Seals coming into a close second place. Everything about this game I love. Your team is just awsome and sometimes a necessity when joining the fight against those dirty "commys". O yes one last thing, EA THANK YOU!! I'm sorry I must be getting back to my PS2 now, I am having withdraws.

I played this game for the first time a few weeks ago, and I played the same level for hours(I kept dying) and still came back for more from those dang ruskies. The AI is very advanced even for an EASY level. The game has a very believable storyline and an interesting set of characters. This is definetly movie material. The cast:
Chris Stone- Paul Walker. Isabella Angelina- Angelina Jolie. Phil Bagzton- Jake Gylenhall.Troy Stone- Kevin Dunn Mr. Jones- Max Von Sydow. Tatiana Kepinski- Radha Mitchell. General Tatarin- Jean Reno.
Sounds like a Roland Emmerich movie to me. Anyway, back to the game. It is hard even if you set it on easy. Move it up to medium? Forget it! THis game is awesome, don't miss out!

Fredoom Fighters is a pretty fine game if you want to see the game first with cheats.Such as invisibility.two player mode is great because you can just keep beating each other up until you try to care about the stupid flag...Well the reason why I said that is because you lose time to play multiplayer.Here are my ratings
Music:5{because I just like hearing those notes in a game}
Graphics:3{because its not realistic}
Overall:4{because its so short.It took me just a few days because I rented it!}

This game may be one of the top 20 games for under $15, this game is cheap and fun! You should go out and buy this game right away!

This game was solid and decent. My only gripe was that it was too short, the only reason I gave it four out of five stars. Otherwise I would buy this game or give it some serious consideration. You recruit your army of rebels straight off the street (depending on your charisma level) and you don't necessarily train them. You tell them to either DEFEND, SCOUT, or REGROUP. There's no need to get anymore complicated than that though custom options would've been nice. The people you recruit are pretty smart, if there's an enemy Soviet shooting at them, they seek cover automatically. This game is difficult even on the easy level so there's definitely a challenge factor to it. A nice complimentary game to say SOCOM II! DEFINITE REPLAY VALUE!!

Wow This game is very well thought out when it was made the graphics are elexcent the gameply is excelent and the story keeps u hooked this is one of the most well thought out and created games ever made for the ps2 this is a must have i repeat do not rent this buy this right now and start enjoying one of the best games ever made... ea titles are al good and ea is one of the best game developers in my book. they know how to create a game and how to make it perfect. u can also shoot guys in nyc how awsome is that anywayz if ur looking for to rent this forget it just buy it u wont be dissapointed. this is a must have a a great title for every body who enjoys playing video games

Found in the trash

I found this gem of a game in the trash.It must have been sent from heaven. I cleaned it up and to my surprise from the start of the game I was hooked. The graphics GOOD the gameplay GOOD the story and its progression GOOD. The game has some scratches on it so I will buy it this time to play it again. You can play this game over and over again because it requires thought out strategy while rooskies fire at you. The story line is the most impressive part and that is hard to find for me since being hooked on games like God of War, The GTA series and my all time favorite the Legacy of Kain Series. I hope the developers of this game come up with another one.The only down side is the L3 aiming and the game is short and the story really didn't seem finished. Even though this game is good to play again and again the thought of new combat scenarios and possibly sequels are endless.

Freedom Fighters is defintley one of my favorite video games no question. This game is such a blast in both single player and multiplayer. It has a great setup for the single player as you fight for freedom against the Soviet Union. The multiplayer mode on this is also a blast, you get to take over bunkers raise the flag etc. On multiplayer it has 3 maps to chose from. Also on multiplayer, it has weapons laying around to pickup or swap for a varity of firearms. This game can have 4 players playing on multiplayer. But i don't know how that works because my playstation has only two controller slots. Thats the only very minor downside and it has to do with the system, not the game. Well, this was my experince with this game, and it was a positve one. I most highly reccomend Freedom Fighters to anybody looking for some video game action!
