I think this game is amazing. It has a great story and easy to learn controls. The graphics are pretty good but not perfect. the main problems I had with this game is that there weren't really many alternate routes in the levels, you could only go down one real path there were a few things you could do differently and they all eventually led to back to the main path. Also something I would have liked is if there had been vechicles really involved(there are some but they are only soviet helicopters or soviet trucks that carry more soldiers to a certain place, there are also cars on the roads but all they are useful for is hiding behind but that isn't really useful because they blow up after only a few shots). The only other complaint I have is that the multiplayer is really lopsided. Whenever I play it with my friends we always get into fights about who gets to be the Americans because they always start off with the better weapons and they almost always win. I would probably give this game a five even though there are no vechicles but the bad multi player really screws that up. If IO decide to make a FF2 then they really need to fix the multiplayer or I probably won't buy it.

I was very skeptical about this game when i first saw the screenshots for it, and didn't know if it would be any good. I also noticed the teen rating and wondering if it carried enough violence to be a good shooting game. But after reading several reviews i forced myself to fork-over the $5.00 and rent the damn thing. When i first put it in, it looked so-so but as i learned the controls, and other things about it, i really started to enjoy it. You can only carry one major weapon, and one pistol at a time, along with health, grenades, molotov cocktails, binoculars, a wrench(your character is a plumber) and some C4. And your mission is to defend New York city from the Soviet invasion (really good story line.) And you do "good deeds" and earn morality points which you then use to recruit other rebels so that they will follow you and listen to your commands. One you get going and find a good gun and get about 4 or 5 rebels to follow you around, the game really takes off. Anybody looking for a challenging yet extrememly fun and interesting game should rent or even buy this game.

I especially love to kill America hating Russian terrorists, and that's all you do in this game. They've taken over New York city, which happens to be my own city, and the games main character builds up an army throughout the stages, and takes the city back for americans by destroying main Russian posts and replacing Russian flags with american flags, while killing hundreds of Russians who try to get in his way. Beautiful 3D graphics which make it look exactly like a fully interactive city and chilling Lord of the rings type of music score to set the mood for glorious battle. I also love how you automatically trash talk the Russians by calling them offensive names while you're plowing over them with brutal firepower. This game gets me pumped at times when I'm on a Russian killing rampage. Another great job by EA Games.

I happened to read a review of this game on ign.com and they raved about it. I picked it up used for about $13. What a freaking steal!!! This is a great game, although you never hear it mentioned. I was addicted from day one and stayed up 'til 3 a.m. every night until I beat it. On the 3rd highest difficulty setting, some missions are REALLY hard, especially if you don't do things in the right order (i.e., taking out the attack choppers on another part of the map - little hint there). The challenge is definitely there, and the story is cool too. Trust me, the first mission of the last 'map' will have you throwing the controller around some, but you'll come back because you'll think "Maybe if I do this..." and eventually figure out how to get through the level. If you like games like Medal of Honor, Max Payne, etc (although this game is 3rd person), go out and buy this TODAY!

Two things I didn't like - the graphics are only so-so, especially for the XBOX. There's no blood (but the 'deaths' look real enough, especially when you blow up a truck and someone's standing next to it...COOL!) And, although there are options to 'quick save' at the sewers, sometimes these are few and far between (and non-existent on the last map) and you end up repeating certain lengthy sections over and over. Although, that just adds to the satisfaction when you finally beat it! There should be nothing, however, that is stopping you from finding and buying this game TODAY!!

This game is one that will keep you playingfor hours. With very tough levels and very good AI, a gamer can't really ask for more.

I've never really gotten into war games. Well, besides the PC Return to Wolfenstein Demo and Advance Wars for the GBA. I got this game based on good reviews from many different sources.

They are right. This is an excellent game. Very immersive. And this is from a GTA and Ratchet & Clank junkie.

Another thing about this game, it is very hard. You will really get a sense of accomplishment when you managed to finish missions. Lots of crouch and creep, then blast, run, blast. This game will make you stay up too late at night it's so compelling.

This is one of the best action games of its kind.The only problem is that it is really short.And just before I bought the game I read most of the reviews I didnt expect it to be as short as it actually was.I beat it is three days, though if played continously it could be completed in about a day.But I have no regrets for buying it because it is well worth 20 dollars.The game is even really good on multiplayer, in fact this is the first game I enjoy playing with my younger brother.The only bad part about the multiplayer mode is that you can only fight against eachother and there are only three levels to chose from.

Five stars for fun but an overall of four because the guys at EA could have made it longer.

Ahh the greatness.

PLaying this game on twoplayer just to blow your body up with a grenade to see where your body will land is worth it. The games action is great to. I don't play it on 1 player much, but it doesnt matter its worth it if u have a buddy.

I traded 6 games for this thing.. and i don't think im much dissapointment. I just don't like the fact there's only THREE levels on two player. Yup. Only 3.

But buy this if u want a cheap but awesome game..

Not that bad but not that great, I admit the story wasn't that bad, same with the voice acting but it's typical and repeative. I can see why some would love this and I can see some hate it but I thought it was ok. It's worth buying at a cheap price (definately not worth $50) because it's worth trying out. I beat the game but I'll never see myself playing it again.

This game is excellent overall. The graphics are great, the gameplay is awesome.
Most of all I recommend it because it is easier and more fun to play than similar games, like SOCOM, for example, where I found hard to coordinate the soldiers under my command. In this game it es very easy to lead the soldiers to get the missions accomplished.
