Great young entertainment that makes you move!

My 4 year old picked this one out and it nuts about the running portion. Some of the skill is using the controls that you will need to master on the WII before you can play any of the games. Great for a few players to play at the same time, and other parts you have to take turns. If you looking for a game for the entire family, this is it. Hours of fun for both young and old without worring about launguage or fighting. (there will be enough of that in the room when your beaten by a 4 year old!)

Great Game.

This is a very fun family friendly game that all can enjoy. The controls may take a little to get used to but it is still fun trying to learn. Large variety of events- 1OOm(running) dash, 100m hurdles, long jump, triple jump, hammerthrow, javelin, fencing, table tennis, trampoline, skeet shooting, 100m(swim), 400m(swim) relay. Also more that can be unlocked as you beat certain events. I have opened- 400m relay(running), archery, high jump, rowing, dream race. I still have a lot more to open. Also some mini games in the Olympic gallery (like wack-a-mole). A really great game for groups or family play.

Awesome Game

This game totally rocks. If you like Sonic, Mario, or both this is a great game. It is like you are in the real olympics, just with your favorite Mario and Sonic characters. You can run, swim, or even do the hammer throw! Get this game and it will not dissapoint you.

Lots of fun - hard to play for long periods of time..

love this game - tons of fun for my wife and I (and she doesn't like video games). we even invite friends over, just to play this and Mario Cart. my biggest complaint with this game, and it's really a complaint about the technology of the system, is that you just can't play it for long periods of time. this game is a total work out!

otherwise, lots of fun sports to play - we love the trampoline i think the best.. graphics are great. love the fact that your Mii's have legs and look like they belong - although the spandex outfits area little disturbing (in and good way). all in all, a great game and a great buy.

Entertainment at its best!

This game is so much fun! Every time we have a get together at our house everyone ends up playing this game. There is nothing like a bunch of people gathered around the TV trying to swim/jump/run/fence with controllers! Even if you're not playing it's entertaining to watch everybody else. The game is great and competitive and with it you can entertain for hours . . . or for however long the batteries on your controller last.

i really like it

I think that its great that they incorperate kids games withe real life. I also think that they should make the fencing part more real (I'm a fencer)

Really wanted to love it

I bought this game for my daughter and I. We love playing the Wii together (we love Wii Sports, Carnival Games, Mario Party 8). I find myself not believing that this game was just terrible for us. It was boring, hard to figure out the controls (which rarely seemed to work well...leaving you frustrated), and either very hard or very easy. The fact you have to re-do who you "are" everytime you change games is awful. Plus waiting for all the scenes for the winner--UGH!

It offered us no workout at all--unlike Wii Sports--unless we stayed with the same sport. If we wanted to change it seemed to take forever to do something else. After about 3 hours we gave up. I returned this (luckily I bought it used). Maybe this is a fun adult party game with a bunch of friends and a 6 pack or something..but for my daughter and I we just can't recommend.

If it's got Mario...

I guess I am just an oldy but I like the original Marios better than this. I found this to be difficult to play. My kids, ages 9 and 10 won't play it because it is too hard for them. But again, they are not video game buffs so it may be great for those that are.
