Having video games on your service is really cool. I've lost a few pounds since I started playing with DDR.

We puchased this game as a bithday gift for my daughter. My daughter loves this game and so does the rest of the family. It gets the kids and me up and moving! This game is fun for the entire family.

Enjoyable Game, Horrible User Interface

Although game-play is frenetic and enjoyable, I find the menu system difficult to control. My biggest request is the option to abort a song once I have started, as I often find that the difficulty level has been accidentally changed without my noticing. Currently, I have to either let the song finish, or reset the Wii.

Pretty good cross over from arcade version

This is a great home version of a popular arcade game. It's straight forward on the controls and it keeps you and the kids in shape. I really like the options available for difficulty levels. I would never have been able to keep up with my 10 and 11 year-olds if I hadn't practiced on the beginner levels for a couple of days. I'd love to see a head to head version of this for competitive synchronous play or maybe even team play.
Great purchase and strongly recommend it for parents who want their kids to be active instead of couch potatoes. It's healthy fun for all of us.

This game is an absolute blast! My entire family (age 5 on up) LOVE this game. There are some easier songs for the little ones and boy do they get harder for the adults. The hand markers add an extra challenge, however, they can be turned off to simplify game play. The only downfall in my opinion is in the workout mode, there is just way too much time between songs to get a really effective workout, by the time I get into the next song my heart rate has already almost returned to normal. Still, what a great way to get off the couch and move around and have fun in the process!!!

This game is definitely fun and great for parties. All the songs rock and the graphics look cool but it's even better if use wii component cables. I would recommend this game if you're looking for fun, new dance moves or simply to have a good work out!

This game is a ton of fun :) I only wish that some of the songs were still in Japanese.

I am new to the Dance Dance Revolution games. We purchased a Wii and I was looking for fun games I would enjoy to play with. I purchased this game, primarily on the strength of reviews I read on Amazon.com.

As others have mentioned, there are a few items I feel could have been made better:

* Workout mode - It is really the same as the other modes, the only difference is that it calculates calories. I wish it gave an option of setting continuous music with no interruptions for an amount of time set by the users. Granted, we can set a time, but it interrupts by calculating calories between each song.

* Options - I had to go online to figure out how to turn off hand markers and gimmicks. I kept looking for these options from the main menu and had go online to find out there are in the "options" that are among the list of songs. The manual did not state this.

With my gripes out of the way, overall, I truly LOVE this game. Right away I had fun playing, even though I was off beat and failed the dance combos on the songs. The more I practice, the better I am getting and it is always nice to finish a song with a good grade and feel a great sense of accomplishment.

I enjoy playing individual, but must agree with others that playing with others is more fun. I get a kick out of "battling" my husband, and playing "friendship" mode with my young son.

I would definitely recommend this game. My family has found that we can play this game for hours, it is just that captivating!

Great but can do better

I love this game i use it as a work out and i have been playing it for about 2 weeks straight and i swear i can see a difference the only thing is that i dont know how to store or incoperate my Mii in to the game and the hand options have to be turned off every time you want to play . Its fun but the song collection is not my cup of tea

So much fun

I bought it for myself, but we are also using it at the Physical Therapy Clinic where I work. (I brought into work to show my co-workers) Who knew PT could be so much fun? To challenge our injured atheletes to regain balance and flexibility, we are finding the DDR to be fabulous! It inspires our therapists to be more creative and provides enough levels so even the fittest among them have to work at a good score.
