Bond Has Come Home

While this game hasn't been released yet, so no one out there can really review it yet, as an employee of EA (but not on any of the Bond teams), I would like to give my thoughts and opinions on how this game has turned out.

First, this game is truely amazing. Being a big fan of Rare's Goldeney and Perfect Dark, I was wondering if it would be possible to top those gaming experiences. In the end, I would say yes. To me, The Worlds Not Enough is the first Bond not made by Rare to top Goldeneye and Perfect Dark on all levels. The graphics are incredibly detailed, smooth, and for the most part run at an incredibly smooth frame rate. Even in levels with filled with city detail, cars, people, explosions, etc., the game maintains a very good frame rate. The character animations and models are also a big step over what was seen in Goldeneye and Perfect Dark. In graphics, The Worlds Not Enough truely shows what the Nintendo 64 is capable of. When using the expansion pack, which I recommend, the graphics are even more amazing. While many games that employee the use of the expansion pack, most of the time its only for high-res graphics, usually resulting in frame rate problems. This is not the case for The Worlds Not Enough. While yes the expansion pack is used for optional high-res graphics, it is also used to improve the visual effects in the game. Best of all, unlike a lot of games that use it, it doesn't become a trade off....better graphics, not so great frame rate. Even with the use of the pack, the frame rate remains pretty constant.

Sound is another high point for the game. Of course it tops Goldeneye since that game was released by in 1997, but it also tops the sound found in Perfect Dark. The games' score is strong, very bond-ish, and helps to really draw you into the game. Same thing goes for the sound effects. Voice audio is also a huge plus. The game features a large amount of voice acting that sounds like its straight out of the movie. While yes Perfect Dark featured a great deal of voice recordings, the audio quality of the voice recordings in The Worlds Not Enough is of a higher quality, resulting in clearer/stonger audio.

The gameplay is also top notch. If you have played Goldeneye or Perfect Dark, then you will have no probably picking up that controller and getting right into the game. Eurocom, the developer for the N64 version, has done an terrific job capturing the feel and enjoyment found in the two Rare titles.

Overall, this is truely an amazing and very enjoyable game. I highly recommend the purchase of this game by anyone who is a Bond fan, a first person shooter fan, or just a fan of great games. While some may believe I am only saying this because I am employeed by EA, that's not it at all. Like many Nintendo fans, I only except the highest quality games, and will only recommend a game if it meets my expectations. This game not only met all of my expectations, but surpased them and makes me excited for the next Bond game. I highly recommend the purchase.

This is one of the most anticipated games of the year. But is it as good as we want it to be and is it worth buying? The following info should help you to decide.

In this game you are James Bond who must go through these levels with stealth and caution. The enemies start in different locations each time you play the game so don't try memorizing their locations. You will be using pistols most of the time but there are still forty other weapons and gadgets you can use.Like in Perfect Dark(PD) the weapons all have second functions.Pretty much all characters in single-player are available in multi-player however you must earn them like in GoldenEye(GE) and PD.The graphics are incredible with the use of the expansion pak and the levels are great! You must save your progress with a memory pak which can be a pain sometimes but hey, that doesn't effect the gameplay at all.By the way, there are hardly any slow downs in the game like there is in GE and PD which is a big plus. There are 14 levels and just as many,if not more, multi levels. There are many options in multi including the option to put in simulants.Hope that helped.

This is a great game based on the movie. It is hard to give a summary about a game. First of all it is a great game with over ten levels. It is even better than GoldenEye 007. It does not have as many extra options as Pefect Dark. If you don't know yet this is a 3-D FPS (First Person Shooter) game. It has a great multiplayer mode. The characters you ca choose from are: James Bond, M, Q, MoneyPenny, Elektra, Christmas, and Renard. All characters from the hit Bond movie. The regular game has levels like, Submarine, Skiing, and Streets. You can do many things in the game like: Jumping, walking, swimming, running. It is agreat game and I like it.

This game is awsome! it follows the movie well, except for the Subway level with the bomb and the terrorists, which I didnt see in the movie. It as a WAY better multiplayer than Goldeneye, heck, it has way better evrything THAN goldeneye. ( except that there are no codes for one-player, no bonus things, you dont have NEARLY as many guns as the First game. Also, it shows you reload your gun, instead of just bringing out a fully loaded gun, which is bad because you could run out of bullets while in combat, and you will have to stand there forever waiting for the gun to reload.) All in all, this game is really cool, and is a must-have for 007 fans.

This is a great shoot-em up game. The graphics are great, but I'm just talking about the N64 version. It's exactly like the movie except the beginning is a little different. I don't like James Bond because you know he's always going to win. During the movie I almost fell asleep so I don't remember some of the movie parts that are in the game,my brother does though. I really liked this game but it was very hard to beat. The multi player is cool, especially the al-bots. The guns are nice.

Expecting Davidov? He caught a bullet, instead of the plane

This is the BEST N64 game. Forget Perfect Dark. This game takes PD and fills it with lead with a variety of interesting weapons! The fun starts in the Swiss Bank in Bilbao, then you go to MI6... My fav level (so far) is Midnight Departure, where you have to get onboard a plane to Kazakhstan. And the speech is relatively similar to the movie, for example, the cool quotes, like the title, are in it. The characters sound like the actors (for once) and everyone has speech you can hear! The only downer is that you need a Controller Pak, but that is as bad as someone poking you with the cartridge its self! Get this game, NOW! There is a modified quote I can say: "Expecting Perfect Dark? It caught a bullet, instead of my extreme praise" :-)

Great Game!

This is a great game! The graphics are great and you get lots of guns. You get to kill lots of people! The game is based on the movie, so if you haven't seen the movie you'll get a feel on what it is like. If you don't have this game, get it!
