THE BEST N64 GAME EVER

5 Rating: 5, Useful: 0 / 1

At first I thought the game would'nt be all that good untill I played it when my cousin let me borrow it. Ever since then I've loved it, the best part is unlocking new levels and cheats and multiplayer mode. The game plays out just like the movie, and knowing there's always something new to get.

Quite challenging and fun

...BR>This game, more than any other for the Nintendo 64, is what will come to mind when most ppl think of the N64. Mainly because, this was one of the first shooter games to require the gamer to use his brain to solve puzzles and get thru the nasty surprises the game will throw at you. Not following the bloodlust of previous first shooter games like Doom, Heretic, Turok, etc. this game is in a class of its own. It gives you objectives to complete however, unlike Perfect Dark it adds to the challenge by giving you deadly surprises that are NOT mentioned in the mission breifing, these will make at least restart a few levels over and over until you figure it out for yourself. Its a much better game than any other First shooter Ive played since it stresses Stealthy behavior, and intelligence on the part of the player to succeed.
Granted it does not have the extras in the Multiplayer section that Perfect Dark has but it has an element of challenge that Perfect Dark will never have.

This is THE BEST game of all time.

This game offers it all. Shooting action, adrenaline pumping duck and dodge fire fights, rescue missions, covert action, gadgets, evil villains, story and plot, and a lot of weapons. I reccomend this to any gaming fan. Buy this game right now! You don't know what you're missing if you don't. The game also offers an incredible ammount of replay value with dozens of cheats that can be activated by getting record times in levels and also two levels that can be activated by beatin gthe game on different levels of difficulty. All in all, a completely amazing game. Buy it. Don't hesitate.

This is a cool game. You complete every mission on 00 agent and you unlock the 007 difficulty level. You don't need a memory pak or card to play this game.

This game inspired me to get N64. This is the best shooter game ever and has great action. To this day i still play the game conatintly over and over. This game made N64 what it is today. The only bad thing about the game is the graphics but who cares it was an early game of N64. If you have N64 but don't have Goldeneye go out and buy it. It doesn't madder if you have all the new stuff like Gamecube or PS2 this is what made all that. Goldeneye is forever.

best game ever

This game was a instant classic once it hit the stores. Afterwards other 007 games can't match up or even be compared to Goldeneye. Hear's sum ups and downs of the game
UP:
The detailed graphics on the gun
A huge aresonel of weapons
Can keep u goin'
Multiplayer is never tiring
00 agent puts up a great challenge
Auto aim
Getting all the cheats
Levels are very emjoying
U git 2 hold two guns
The reply value is superb
Gameplay is easy 2 git used 2
The sound of the guns r exellent

Body aromor is very useful
U git knifes
One of the best 1st person shooters in the world
Most likely the best video game that came frum a movie
DOWN:
Graphics aren't so great(Blood doesn't shoot out from enemy)
Natalya gets carless and easily killed
Some missions r too easy
U can't beat a level with cheats on
It suffers from slowdown when too many things r on da screen
Drone guns get on ur last nerve
Alec can be a real pain
U fail the wholr thing if u fail 1 little objective

Enimies can cause u 2 fail by blowin' somethin' too
Can't use anything 2 regain health

It has alot of both, but the ups beat the down, like a dominant gean over a rececive 1. A must buy 4 anyone who got a 64 n don't got dis game

A Shot In The Dark

This game is a poor, repeating open-the-door-shoot-someone-see-the-blood-splatter-all-over-the-place game. I don't understand why the bathroom doors open by themselves anyways. The poor aiming of the opponents gets on my nerves also.

Why do people worship this game?

Well, to be frank, "GoldenEye 007" is decent. It is an average first-person shooter with some challenge. (You need to beat missions at a certain amount of time to unlock a secret, for example, which was a good idea.) However, there are more cons here than pros. The graphics are mediocre, not detailed enough. There's no replay value (for the one-player missions). The Multiplayer Mode is so boring and dull, there are not enough stages, or the stage just isn't large enough. The weapons are good, even if they're not real. Lastly, the lack of good enemy AI disappoints me. The only real fun in this game is purposely failing a mission. What also makes this game worth playing are the sounds of the bullets and ricochets as they hit a wall. The music rates 8.2. The short cutscenes when you start and end a mission are so pointless. The lack of enemy soldiers screaming in pain as they're shot also disappoints me. I'm sorry, but I think people looked at this game so blindly.
