This game is pretty cool but it gets boring. You get to control a person and make a house with appliances and stuff. You know make your room and decorate it with things you buy with your money. You get jobs to get money and you can even cook. Customize everything from gender, face, skin-tone, body, attire to name and personality type, and yea. Some people are dispointed because it gets too boring or something. Well you could either get some codes for the game or get the new one coming out! If you want to use codes heres one i use a lot. Put rosebud in the code box and you get money. The new one is coming out in december and believe me it will be great!!! It takes up 161 memory blocks but its worth it. You should keep you money to buy this instead.

Playing the "Get a Life" game play of The Sims is a lot of fun and very highly addictive. You start playing and you look up 2 hours later. It is very much like really life. There is always things to do!! I haven't had this game long but I have played much. You can't go wrong buying this game.

unless you have nothing to do and want to spend days controlling an aninmated dipstick instead of yourself, dont get this game. You might think yeah I get to do whatever i want but if you don't get a job and take a shower and clean up, you can't do anything. Bottomline is that this game is more work than fun....

This is not a review that is going to compare this "GAMECUBE" version with the "PC" one. This is about "The Sims". Let's face it, it's not for everyone. I realize that there is a huge audience for this type of game. And I tried and tried to be apart of that audience. I just can't get into it. Why do you have to control an icon instead of the actual character(s)? The game even with the "icon control" would be better if you could get close ups with the camera. Why click on a radio or t.v.? You should be able to walk right up to it using your anolog control stick and simply pressing the "A" button. I can only assume that with the massive amount of memory it takes to create a game of this magnatude is in fact the reasons for the complaints I have about the inability to control your character(s) in the way I mentioned above, or have better camera options. I didn't like the option to remove the walls. This option was created due to the bad camera angles. It's like lets have a button that makes the walls disappear so that the player will be able to see their character(s) at all times. I'm not digging that at all. I also think that the "blur" is tacky when your character(s) de-robes. With all that being said and a few unmentioned problems..Two stars for "The Sims".

The Sims is a great game, but since it just came out, there's barely and cheats you can use. Even though it's too early it's a great game to play if you know what your doing.;-)

IF YOU LIKE ALL THE OTHER SIMS GAMES YOU'LL LIKE THIS ONE
IT IS SO COOL BUT IT TAKES A WHILE TO GET USED TO THE CONTROLS
BUT DON'T GIVE UP ONCE U GET USED TO IT YOU'LL LIKE IT A LOT
PLUS IT GIVES YOU A HEAD START IN LIFE BUY IT BUY IT BUY IT!

this game is realistic and a good choice to play. the sims busting out is coming up but this game is still worth playing no matter what.

I got this game for Christmas and it's really cool! I have bought most of the PC versions, so I was really excited to start playing. It's almost like the PC, but in ways, better! My older sister can now play with me because you can play a two player game!! I think one of the coolest things is you can choose exactly what you want them to wear. In the PC versions, you have to have the comination of clothing they give you. There are also new and different items that are very fun to use. I think this game is awesome!! Five Stars! If you like the PC version, your are going to love this game!!
