I loved it when I first saw it but when i had to go to bed the game wouldn't save, thats when i noticed it needed sixty blocks. The game is awsome don't get me wrong though when it comes to all those memory needed you end up spending more money.
Can't wait another minute

I am a huge sims fan and i have all of the PC games and expansion packs. I really wanted the sims for PS2 but i only have a gamecube. I saw an ad for the sims and it said it was for gamecube and PS2. I can't wait to get it. I will probably be first in line at Wal-mart on the 27th. I would suggest this game to anyone but beware: it is addictive!

The Sims is a very fun game but after you play it for such a long time it will get boring. You are better off getting Animal Crossing because it's always fun. It never runs out of things to do and explore.
Big Disapointment

I am a huge Sims fanatic, and have bought all of the expansion packs for PC. I was extremely disapointed with the outcome of this game. Controls are horrible, with lack of fluency and an innate sense. The only reason I bought the game was to play "Get a Life Mode". I have to say this is the only redeeming quality of the game. Though thats hard to day, because it takes so long to get anything done due to the fact that unlike in The Sims for PC, you can only make time move twice as fast, rather than 3 times. This makes getting through one lousy day a challenge on it's own. Grafics are porly done, and it is imposible to get a good angle on the entire house, like in the PC version. For hard core Sims fans, I recomend you rent the game, only so that you can believe what a horrible job was done in transfering this game to Gamecube. If you don't own any sims games yet and are thinking about buying this, DON'T. Look at amazon.com's extensive collection of The Sims and it's expansion packs for the PC and buy those so you can really get an idea how the game is supposed to be, incredible.

This is a great game for kids from the ages of 11+. It is a great game because it has great graphics and good ways of life that are realistic.

This is a great game. Getting jobs, having houses, and getting to know your neighbors is great fun! You get to have pets, go to parties, and design you own house. The creativity is infininte.
I would recomend it for 13 and up because of sugestive themes.

I love this game so much, I am really tired of Maxis's stupid "new projects", They shouldn't change the aging process, having babies, and neighborhood options, I wish that they made the sims 2 ALMOST exactly like this,
In the sims 2 you live with yuor "roommates" which has no knack to it, this one, you live with your mom, which makes more sense,
Next time, Maxis, take a hint and don't change what the people love, idiots!
I would have had given it a 3 but..

You all probably think I have already reviewed the sims for gamecube.. But I haven't.. Most of my reviews were by my sisters.
First of all. The sims bustin out is a hug improvement to this game.. But there is NO play the sims mode in the sims bustin out.. REALLY stupid. There is only free play. I bought this game so I could actually play the SIMS that started it all.
And second of all. I think they really should abandon that pathetic free play thing. People like making their own neighborhoods. Not just play a neighborhood that was already premade.
This game is really good because you can have babies, pass on your genes, design your own characters (there aren't many optio ns for the face customization though) and they have a lot of cool clothes that they didnt put in the sims bustin out.
I have to say. The neighborhood mode is better than the get a life mode. Because get a life mode is fairly boring. You don't actually see your sims move to a new house.. The T.V. will just go black after you completed every single goal in that house and then you will see your sim standing on the sidewalk of their new house and then their new roommate will say something.
And also, I have to say.. The day dream sequences really didn't make any sense whatsoever. You will be in a mansion and then your sim will say something like "What the .... am I doing here?" and then either Roxy or Randy will pop up from a puff of smoke and then Randy or Roxy will make out with you even if you don't let her you guys will automically fall in love and then Randy or Roxy will want you to play with them in the hot tub that they have at the corner of the room.
Well that is all as far as I can remember.
This isn't all that great

First of all the graphics are real good and the items you can get are pretty cool. Yet still the game has problems. The gameplay is very difficult to get used to. It's VERY, VERY frustrating cause when you want your person to answer the phone or go to the bathroom all they do is stand there wetting their pants and making a fuss. If you throw a party the guests never do anything but talk so parties aren't as great as they seem. It sometimes makes me want to pull my hair out. The 2 player is the only thing realy fun about the game. Overall, I say dont buy it. Sometimes, I feel like I wasted $50 on a bad game. $$$$$$$$$$$$$$ down the drain.
