This game is a good game. However it gets boring sometimes because it gets too tough. It's my personal favorite game. There is codes and cheats. To go in cheat mode type L then R at the same time to open cheat mode. Type Freeall to buy everything for free. Type Sims to open two player (if you haven't done already).

To all who read this? The Sims for the Nintendo Game Cube is a smash. It is a great complement to the PC games. I know I own them all. The one feature I liked in this game is the "Get a life" mode. This feature sets you in the world of the Sims just like the PC version except you have goals you have to meet in order to advance your character in life as well as maintaining your motives. The only problem I had is that the game has frozen twice now, and on one occasion I forgot to save my progress.
All in All the game play and the graphics earn this game a solid 5 out of 5 stars rating.

I'v played this game for the PS2 and I don't expect theres a differents.The Sims is fun for both kids and adults.This game is Animal Crossing with a twist.

I was almost hesitant to buy this at first. I have loved The Sims since it first came out, and since I have every expansion pack I was afraid that this would either be just the original game just like on the PC, or something so watered down or altered that it would not be the same game I enjoy on my computer. But I took the chance and was well rewarded. It does lack some of the neat gadgets and traveling locales of the expansion packs, however, it does have some of the better gadgets and a few new ones.

I suppose some might find it boring, but I found it addictive. I'll have to put it away to get anything done.

I have been a fan of all "The Sims" products for a long time. I own every expansion pack there is and I was so excited to hear the game was coming out for Gamecube. However, there were a few things with the game I wasn't to pleased about. For one, the graphics are not impressive. Another thing is you can't zoom in as much as you'd like to. Also, the game is very challenging. The biggest problem I found is that it takes extreme patience to play this game because it takes a long time to achieve all the game's goals.
I don't usually buy games like "The Sims" for Gamecube. I like more adventure games like "Starfox Adventures"(which buy the way is AWESOME!) I'd say, if you're a fan of startegy games, a huge fan of "The Sims", and have A LOT of patience, go for it and buy this game. Patience is key for this game. It takes a long time to advance. I, having none what so ever, got bored very quick.

This Sims game is really fun and challenging. Unlike the computer game you can't do cheats (or maybe you can but I haven't figured out how yet). I rented this game and liked it so much I bought it! The Sims is a life-like game which puts the persons life in your hands. Their fate, whether good or bad, is also up to you. The Sims is a very addictive game and on Gamecube you can play two player which makes it even funner. Two people can control one person each and interact with each other. They can form friendships and fall in love with each other or they can hate each other and get into fights. Either way it is a very fun, game, that doesn't use a lot of thinking skills, what a releif (haha), and I think is a great game for everyone! I hope this helps you make your decision on getting the Sims or not and I hope you choose TO get it!!!!

This is one quality game that will take anyone a long time to get bored with. Everyone in my family plays this game from my niece of nine years to my sister who hates video games of 31. A warning should be put on this game though, due to the fact that if you play it you will waste numerous hours of your life in front of the tv doing things for your sim that you should be doing for yourself (like going to the bathroom). All in all I would recommend this game to any of my friends.

I think this game is sweet and rad because it meets all of my gaming expextations, not too violent, but a little violence, and it is just cool controling someones life.

i was excited when i got this game but it was so hard to control and when you have to type in your sims name its impossible to do it. at the begening its boring because your stuck in your house trying to make your sim happy and you have to fix a stupid tv! boooring. you cant tALK TO anybody that comes and untill you finish your goals and make your sim completley happy your stuck! its not all bad tough! you can talk to your mom and borrow money or talk to her or copliment her. and you can order pizza and learn responsibilty about cleaning your house and at first you get a pet fish! but in the begening you HAVE to get in the hot tub with your boyfriend and you do take your clothes of but its covered and its digusting when you or your mom pees on the floor and you have to clean it. its not a clean game and should be for kids over 13. but i will try to finish my tasks and you should rent it too! i write a review after i beat the first part so be sure to check everyday. who knows it might be good!

I have never played the sims for gamecube, since it's not out yet, but I have all the sims games for my computer (except online), and I have to say, it is my favorite game! I am so addicted. I will surely get it when it comes out! I can't wait!
