This Game Has It All....

Ghost recon is an example of a great first-person shooting game. It has squad-based fighting and tons of weapons to choose from. You can take anything from frag grenades and binoculars to a sniper rifle and an M-16. This game has tons of good points, so here goes. First of all, the game is squad-based, with three men to a squad. Before each mission, you can choose your men and their weapons. You can choose from four types of men; rifleman, support, demolitions, and sniper. There are fifteen missions, eight extra missions, and five tactical exercises to polish up your skills. This game also has a multiplayer setting which allows you to play against your friend, to play with them in a mission, or to play with them in a free-for all fire-fight. Also, this game allows you to quickly set up a mission you have already beat, and allows you to choose from different settings. Wait, there's more; this game has special features that can be unlocked by completing special objectives. The game also has radar for those of you that want it, and the radar also guides you to your next objective. Also, the game is very realistic, enemies hide from you and you can't take to many hits, don't get me wrong, you can take some, but too many and good-bye.
I do have a few complaints; the game is not realistic in one major way; in some levels there are fences or rock ledges that are a couple feet off the ground, and you can't hop over them or anything, so you have to go all the way around. I find this very stupid, considering that you are a Green Beret. Also, the night vision is quite bad, I mean you can see your enemies but you can't tell much about them. These, however, are simply minor setbacks to a great game, and i would reccomend this to anyone looking for a first-person shooting game. If you don't like this one, maybe you should consider Conflict: Desert Storm, which is also a great game. Anyway, rent the game and give it a try, because you may just find your new favorite game.

This game is designed for online play. This version has none whatsoever, therefore I am forced to give it 2 stars.

Ghost Recon was not made for the PS2. Although the graphics are better then the computer version, but the controls are very frustrating and the game is easier because your cross hair turns red when you target an enemy. Ghost Recon for PS2 is not bad, but it is not great either. If you have a choice, get this game for the computer.

Unless you have a high end video card (128MB isn't enough), you'll shell out for nothing. Buy Delta Force Trilogy, you'll have a better chance despite it's quirky graphics.

Ok well i have played this game and it is very good. The only thing i don't like is that for the PS2 you can't play it online. The Xbox and Gamecube versions can all play online. So whats up?? Has PS2 done something to the makers of this game?? If anyone has any answers would they please tell me???

This game was based on a great novel by Tom Clancy. It is so cool that there is a game based about it.I love this game and play it a whole lot.

This is my favorite game. Ghost Recon is the best game I ever played. My mom really, really, really wants to play it. It's very challenging and it's very fun because you get different types of weapons and you get to pick your soldiers. It's fun because you get to shoot people and there's blood. I'm a huge war fan and Ghost Recon fan.

This game ws the bomb! I loved the grapics and the gameplay. The only bad thing was how many shots it took to kill you. About three. And i wanted to see the guns as i was shooting tehm but this was a very fun game and I would really reccomend it.

Ghost Recon, for the first while, is possily the best game you've ever played, it addictive, idrenaline packed and extremely realistic.

But then after that first anitial week of ownership the game gets kind of boring, you can predict the enemies moves. After setting this game down for a bit the spark comes back, but the gameplay controls are so difficult and complex, it's hard to get back into the game.

The levels are great and the setting is even better, the whole premisis of squads makes this game worth while, this way it's mor realistic for war, not like Medal of Honor or other immitation First Person shooters.

Ghost Recon is in the top of its class in almost every area. From graphics to regular gameplay, its amazing, the complexity of the game and the whole premisis of the game is not only intreguing, but it becons you to beat it.

All in all the gameplay is great and the Premisis isn't just mind-blowing, but also extremely attracting and compelling.

Ghost Recon is a little above adverage...but not amazing.

This game is a very good buy, Im glad I bought it. Out of all the war games I bought this game by far out weighs the others. Socom, Medal of Honor, and the joke game Conflict Desert Storm cant beat this game. This is the idea of what real war games should be like and thats all there is to it.
