First I will start off with game details, I bought this game a while ago. The game graphics are incredible... well could use some work. U can create any kind of character imaginable... This game requires critical thinking. I think this game is great if u have a good system.... which brings me to the second part of my story... I have a Amd athlon 1.2 gig, geforce4 mx440, 256mb, and a 16x dvd drive. It performes with a decent frame rate, at around 30 fps in fast action. I could do better with a new system...
I would recommend a Athlon xp (at least an 1800) geforce4 ti, 384mb ddr and a 7200 rpm hard drive (if u do not want to use the disc and it performes better on hard drive.)...
A GREAT RPG...

I didnt think I would ever love another game after playing Quest for Glory V: Dragon Fire, but this game really changed my mind. I am currently playing and it is absolutely amazing. You choose your own course. There is no set path and you do what you want to do. You can steal, kill, taunt people, or be the "good guy." It's great. Besides being a good or evil character, there is so much else to do and so many places to see and explore. I was blown away with this game. The only part i didn't liek was the fact that the mouse is a little weird when you play and you have to use the keyboard to move and fight, but other than that it is great. This is a game that is worth buying. A definite chocie for any RPG fan!
Buyer Beware

This program is full of bugs. I am running a system with a 1.8 Ghz Pentium 4, 512MB PC800 RDRAM, 64MB NVIDA GeForce2 MX400 graphics card. This game will not run without serious stutter and hang-up problems. The system requirements box list this as supported hardware, but the readme file included on the CD-Rom list the GeForce2 chipset as a problem. I followed the documentation included with the game and contacted Bethesda. Followed their suggestions and the game still will not run without serious problems, even with everything set on lowest possible settings and latest drivers installed. Buy this game at your own risk, or hope that Bethesda works out it's problems and gets a patch available.
=( I wish my computer could play this

simply put this is the most free roaming game ive ever played. ive only invested a couple of hours and ime hooked!!! you can do anything you want!!! however a few things made me detract a star. the map is pretty bad and could have used more time. also some of the orders given by guilds and the like are sketchy. and finally its hard to murder someone without them finding out
WOW! One of the most sophisticated games ever!

This game's so fun, but it's also so hard! There are too many things to do, but it's fun! You can do anything you want, you can be anyone you want, and WOW!

The Elder Scrolls 3: Morrowind is an amazingly open-ended RPG where you can do anything. At the start of the game, the game gives you the basics you need to know to survive. But after that, you are on your own.
The one major flaw with this game is the one feature that sets it apart from all other RPG's: It is too big! If you look around, the product descriptions will say that you can explore the different parts of Morrowind. But, there's not much too see, and it takes you too long to get there. Another major flaw is the graphics. Unless you spend hundreds of dollars upgrading your computer, the graphics will seem sketchy in some parts. A few other bugs include flawed combat and stat upgrade system and bad voice acting.
There are many good things in this game, but I will not list them. If you are looking for a decent game that's not that hard and that you can finish in a few days, then you should buy this game.
One of the fortunate few

Unfortunately, I am one of the fortunate few for whom this game will not run regardless of what I do to remedy the situation. I find it deplorable that such a shoddy product could be foisted on the public.
Couldn't even play it

The requirements on the box state soemthing to the effect of "If your video card is as fast as x you may play".
Well, I have a voodoo 5500 and it is definitely faster than the card they listed, but it is totally unsupported.
They could at least list out the exact cards it supports, for God's sake. SInce there are only 3 of them I think, that is not a lot to ask....
Being a programmer myself I am forgiving of bugs as long as they make an effort to patch in the future, or I would not have purchased the game considering how shoddy their past games were when initially released, but this is a different story; to require the directX features that they do, they would have had to develop to that directX level before it was even released or supported by the graphics card vendors.
At any real software shop, such a thing would never be considered; the 'engineers' at bethesda are proving themselves hacks more than ever with this nonsense.
I for one will never be purchasing a game from this company again....

This game is awesome! It is not like a normal RPG, where you play different levels, and then it is over. In this game, you can go wherever and join differnt guilds and fight. You can also learn magic and join the mages guild, learn fighting and join the fighters guild, and best of all, you creat your own chracter.
