This game is absolutely incredible. Plan on never doing homework ever again! This game also has some very cool mods that your can get through the Sierra website. I usually find myself to be slow learner, but on this game i managed to learn the hotkeys really fast and i can kick some major butt.... This game is such a GOOD deal too even if you dont like it you only forked out minimal cash for it plus you get the strategy guide. Which by the way is the best strategy guid ever made it gives exact instuctions thus making it easier to build your own strategies from the ones given to you...i cant wait for the sequel!

this game may be one of the most addictive games i have ever experianced. i really enjoy the grafics as well as the ability to interact with the components of the game that only a real time stratagy game can give you. a must by

This game literally blew me off my feet (and everyone who I have shown it too has had a similiar experience). The graphics are stunning and the sheer scope of the whole thing is mind boggling. The people who made this are truely ahead of the pack and I cannot wait to see the forthcoming follow up game.
If you do not have it...get it.

This game is the best strategey game that is on the market. One of the best features about this game is that it puts you in command of a single ship up to an entire armada. YOu can command a scout ship, or the biggest and baddest of all, the HEAVY CRUISER. Since this game was by Sierra, I new I would be getting more than I paid for. The differences beteween the Game of the Year edition and the 3D Realtime edition is almost unnoticable. If you do have this game or buy this game, you definetly need to get the seqeuel to it called Homeworld: Catalysm. The game of Homeworld that I bought came with the strategy guide. If yours doesn't, run out and order or buy it before you start on the single-player missions, it is a must have for organizing your fleet and destroying your enemy.

As one of the oldest windows video games I had always enjoyed the complexity of this game, and the strategy aspects of it. The navigation controls of the game were some of the most original I had seen.
If there was one thing I have to say against it would be that it is difficult to get running under operating systems like Windows XP and Vista since these systems compatibility with older games has always been lacking.
Other than that I have always enjoyed the experience playing it.
