Very impressive. Orignal and interesting to play. Graphics is good, soundtracks are wonderfull both by themsleves and in creating just the right mood for the game.

There are some downsides though:
1. The game gets rather slow when many ships are present. Make sure you have computer at least twice as powerfull as that listed in minimal system requirements.
2. Some missions in the end get a bit tedious (but that's a flaw of any RST)
3. It ends! :)

Overall: must-have for anyone who likes sci-fi, space games and cool special effects.

Great graphic, wonderful interface, loads of exicitement and options. I love space games and this is one of the best I have. Especialy good is the need to mine resources and research new technologies. Great game.

This is the best space combat game ever it has really cool graphics to. It is also a strategy game. You can also play online. this is the best game. you will have hours of fun on this game. Really great single player missions with an engrossing plat. If I were you I would buy it right now!!!!

Someone first loaned me this game saying that I must play it, seeing as how I had gotten so attached to Starcraft when it came out back in the day(still a great game). I put the game in, ran it, was a little confused at first by the menus but you learn quickly. Once I got in the game....I couldn't believe it. The nebula levels are beautiful. I loved it, and it also has the single best storyline of any game I've played...but that's me. Truly, this is a must buy.

I bought back in 2000 when it just came to the stores and when i saw it ive allmost screamd the graphicks of thisgame is he best you can find and i remind you that it is out there for almost 2 years. The campgin andthe storyline are superb and the music is increadible. There is only one thing that can be improved: the controls, it will take some time toget used to them but once you will adapet you will feel very goodabout the controls becouse you push so many bottons at once you feel as if your really controling a complex machine

I had played Real Time Strategy games off all types. From the very begining. All the way back to War Craft I. But there always seemed to be something missing.

Then, I was in a used book store, and saw this is their software centre really cheep. I had never heard of it, and I had money to spend. Needless to say, that night, a friend of mine went and bought it, and after about six hours of playing head to head, we had found the ultimate RTS game.

The 3D enviroment is extrordinary, and the graphics amazing.

The only down-side is to really enjoy this game, you need a fast computer, with a really good graphics card. Over all, if you can handle the min. requirements, and like RTSs, you MUST have this game!!

With an incredible assortment of ships Homeworld is the most versatile strategy game ever. Ships can be mixed and matched to create a deadly force. And unlike other games two of the same units don't keep harming eachother at the same interval each time. If u play it right two scouts can kill five. There are so many options: cloaking, special attacks and different maneuvers. This game is out of this world. GET THIS GAME IF U LIKE STRATEGY GAMES.

This game is one of the best space/battle games that I have ever played, It is right up there with Starcraft and Star Wars Rogue Squadron, It is more like a a mix of both, Homeworld has great graphics and is fun to play, The reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because the skrimish CPU is hard even on the "easiest" setting. You should really get this game!
