played this game and the second i took the first kick with Hworang i knew tekken tag was better. Graphics are better but it ...is [no good] how you don't have the tag team option. The movies make much more sense then the ones in tekken tag. They even talk. But its pointless how some of the best characters are gone. If you ask me tekken tag is still better but its worth the money. Personally i like hworang the most. But if you can combo with eddy you've won. I mean its impossible to block. By the way to use eddy by beating the game with christie and pressing o on her. But thats completely pointless how eddy isn't there. The best thing about this game is the graphics and the movies i sort of recomend it but if you have the money buy Vice city or the two towers.

This is one of those slow, clunky fighting games...being me I prefer Street Fighter which has more characters, better moves, and faster pace...if you like the SF games this probably wouldn't be your first choice for the Holidays..stick to Capcom fighting games...they're just better

This is posibly the worst Tekken ever. Good graphics I have to admit, bad game. You start off with some characters like {Kazuya} and you go onto secret characters like {Jin Kazama} and there is a whole new story mode where it tells the characters story and theres arcade mode you know. There is Tekken force, thats ok. Now im going to give a 1 star for graphics nothing else. but my favorite is Tekken 2 and 3 so play those. Thats my review. P.S. The game is dumb

Graphically, Tekken 4 is leaps and bounds over all it's predcessors, and if purty graphics is all your about, then by all means, go out and buy several copies of this game right now, as it has graphic quality in spades.
The problem with Tekken 4 lies, therein, with it's fighting system. What was once an almost tactile fighter with Tekken 3 and Tekken Tag has become a contest to see which characther can poke and turtle the fastest. There are several things about the game's mechanics that don't seem like they should've slid by Namco's normally perfectionist attitude, and yet, they did. Jin's completly absurd laser scrapper (3 hit mid attack that ends in a one second unblockable. That's not broke, no, not at all!), Wall affects, Steve Fox (snicker), awkard movement that meshes Soul Calibur's 8WR and it's own typical movement style, and several other things that make it seem like Namco wanted to put out T4 as quickly as possible to meet a deadline. As if thier hearts weren't into it.
T4 simply loses the fun and stratgey that was prevalent in the series up to this point. It still isn't a /bad/ game, persay, just a low point in the Tekken series itself. Hopefully, T5 will bring the series around.

All i have to say is this is the best fighting game i have ever played in my entire life. I have always liked tekken and this one just takes the cake. Every hardcore fighter should own this game.
Are there more stars or am i just seeing fives all the time?

You are sooo lucky to live in America. Once it gets released, dont get anyone get it before you!!! Tekken goes into a new generation of fighting; finally its a complete, fully 3 dimensional game. The side stepping has been tweaked, and new walls have been added... perfect... ;)

This game is a major upgrade from the previous 3 title (excluding Tag Tournament and Advance )The graphics are great expecialy the mall level. 3 new charachters and a whole roster of old ones this is the best fighting game yet. I've spent at least 10 bucks on a machine at my local arcade. I cant wait until this game hits shelfs in august. I give this game what it diserves 5 stars.

well, i agree that it is a great fighting game. the graphics are amazing, and it's got new characters, and is filled with new moves... but, i've got to say that tag tournament beats 4. yes 4 is a great jump up from 3, but with all the characters in tag, it's hard to go wrong. i don't see the game as improving a whole lot since tag. it's just like they shrunk the character list.
