This is the best game I've ever played. It kept me playing hours at a time. Its really cool to watch the movie stunt you just performed. You also get a great feeling when you pass a stunt because they are so hard (good thing) whereas other games are too damn easy and get boring after awhile. Not this one!
Hard but fun

I'll do Pros and Cons.
Pros-Good graphics. realistic car physics. Real handleing. Neat movies. Controls are okay.
Cons-I have an example. One scene your escaping from a helicopter. You go left, indangering your life only to swerve out of the way just in time. Common sense, you could have gone right and not indangered your life. Although it looks good, it's really stupid. The system should have been like this. INstead of going through set stunts, you should have to go through as many stunts as you can and get as many points as you can. Oh yeah, HOW ON EARTH CAN I WRECK AN ARMORED CAR?

This game's only positive trait is its barely above average graphics. The point of the game is to do car chase scenes in stupidly named movies. This is where the frustration kicks in. First you have to endure long load times just to hear the stunt's name. Then you wait again for the scene to begin. They expect you to do the scene perfectly right off the bat. You don't even get a practice lap or even a layout of the scene. The cars handle exactly the same. The guy who tells you what to do is sometimes late leading you to crash and run out of time. I found myself doing the same scene for 2 hours just to unlock a car and stunt piece for the stunt editor. It would be worth it if only the stunt editor was fun. This game was overhyped just like MGS2:SoL. Go buy Medal of Honor:Frontline instead.
be warned....

I got this game thinking it would up to par with GTA 3 in terms of playability. Or so I hoped, anyway. Wow--talk about a letdown...I can't even begin to tell you how frustrating this game really is. It may have an innovative plot/concept, but that doesn't make up for frustration this game induces. Stay away, far away...
Very Good

It took me 20 minutes to beat a ... 30sec. level, the first one. That is the only reason i kept playing, i got [upset] at the game. But then the more i played the better and harder (much) it got, so i played until my rental was done, buy it when the price drops. Oh yah, the best part of the game is the stunt constructer.
not worth it....

This game is incredibly difficult. It has some of the longest loading times too. Unless you have the unlock everything code "BindI", do yourself a favor and skip this one.
Nostalgic stunts, needlessly difficult

At first, I really liked playing this game and I was not too concerned about the reviews saying it was too hard.
You may recognize that the stunts in the game were based on real movie stunts like in Hooper, Dukes of Hazzard, Indiana Jones, and James Bond.
Unfortunately, the game is ridiculously hard and unforgiving, killing most of the fun of playing it. It is a poor reason to give the game longevity by making you repeating the scenes about 20 times to get it somewhat correct to move on in the career mode. In the 1st couple of scenes, you drive a muscle car that doesn't accelerate very well and you are chasing another car. If you fall too far behind, you fail the scene. So if you make even the slightest mistake, you cannot possibly catch up to the lead car.
Before each mission, a cutscene plays that gives you some insight into how stunt work is done, with careful planning and practice, yet when you do the stunt, you have no information about the stunt at all and are reacting to the director barking out orders like "pass on the left" or "hit the barrels" which gives you little time to react. And you have to do all the objectives in series in one take. The physics are unforgiving, and the cars don't handle well at all.
I struggled through this game all the way up to the last James Bond type Movie, where I just got fed up. They finally give you a fast enough car to drive, but its so ridiculously light that the wheels hardly stay on the ground. And its so delicate, that even the slightest bump will flip the car over and wreck it.
So what should have been the most fun mission in the game turned out to be the straw that broke the camel's back.
In summary, playing this game feel like you are threading a needle perfectly the first time, then having to do it over and over and over again. Its nerve-racking, frustrating, and pointless.
Get Grand Theft Auto instead and do your own stunts your own way whenever you want with whatever car you get.

THIS IS A VERY COOL GAME. I LIKE THE FACT YOU CAN DO WHAT A REAL STUNTMAN DOES. I STAY UP TILL ABOUT 1:30 AT NIGHT NOW THAT SCHOOL IS OUT PLAYING STUNTMAN. BUT I DO NOT LIKE HOW YOU CAN ONLY HAVE SO MANY THINGS ON THE PART WHERE YOU BUILD YOUR OWN TRACK. BUT I REALLY DO LIKE THE CARS FROM THE VIPER TO THE TOW TRUCK. AND I REALLY LIKE TO JUMP OVER STUFF LIKE CARS.
Flips the way you want !!!

Well.... you are a stuntman and really want to impress John Woo. Graphics are extremely great !! the buildings, roads , and damages to the car !!! are so real . You have to perform several stunts in several cities around the world !! ALso you'll get a chance to ride TUK TUK !!! the Thai traditional 3 wheels motorcycle . How GREAT!!
But whatelse !!! this game has nothing else after you completed the stages... nothing challenging !! but this gives a new trend to the game world ! Rent it instead (^_^)
Not too shabby....Not too great.

I'll start it off by saying that this game is solid. The graphics, sound and gameplay all blend in to make this game smooth. But not real smooth. The control is a bit irritating. But overall, this is a good game that will keep you hooked for a good 20-25 hours. Pritty good game, but with some kinks that you can probably over look. Buy this game if you like crashing cars. :)
