For kids, not gamers

I've read the other reviews and they are probably all true if you are a gearhead gamer. But, my 7 and 4 year-old love this game and we take turns playing it as a family. Even the free play is fun for them, and it is kinda cool just to zip around town slinging webs to ride.

this game has not hit stores yet, but when it does it is going to be the best game of the summer. There is new combat moves with your web, you can go up to the top of the tallest sckscraper and do a dive and fall all the way down until the very last minite where you put your web up and are saved from the freefall. You battle new enimies straight from the movie like DR. OCTOPUS and many more. I no im going to buyit when it comes out in 7 days. I reccomend buying this game if you like Spider man obviously and if you like free falling from tall towers and covering your opponent in web.
BUY THIS GAME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This game is very much better thatn the console and GBA game. A friend said that this game was made by fizzy factory but he is wrong because on the officlial sit of this game said that this game is made by Activision and I believe that. You can go through all New York City and you can get through the highest floor of the Empire State but the only thing that makes me worried is that the game is not released yet and the console and portatil yes but I think that is going to be much better than the others.
But I will buy it as soon as possible I can.

This game is for younger kids (rated E), not the same age group as the console version. It's for little kids. For little kids, it's a great game and just right in terms of how challenging it is--they have a great time with it. Not for older gamers, though--obviously it's too easy. They should get the console version. Don't know why Activision targeted two different audiences--maybe for more coverage?

Okay, here's the deal...

Spiderman II is pretty much awesome beyond belief.

The movie was unreal, perhaps the best comic-book movie since X2, no matter what some loser says.

It follows the storyline very well, but the problem is, all I wanted to do was swing around New York City. But the problem with that was, once I was tired of checking out the city, a place I visit almost daily, I wanted more. So, I played the story. And the story rocked!

See that? that's replay value at its best. The guys who put this together very effectively made things nice and pretty and its a lot of fun to understand what spiderman has to go through in order to manuever his way about Manhattan. Its in our hands! and its awesome! im a part-time gamer, so i didn't finish the game, but I love it so far. However, there is a formula that keeps this from being 5 stars. If you know how to beat a boss, its pretty easy. Once I figured out the Rhino's style, I trashed him like nobody's business. But Doc Ock was killer!

Good Things: Lots of villains, fast wall climbing
Bad Things: Only swing on web targets, you can't climb to the top of most buildings, the game won't let you go everywhere, no statue of liberty, short game, no Vulture or Shocker(Unlike the PSP game), the fighting and web and zipping are all in one button, and each villain has the same kind of thugs(unlike the first game). This game is only worth the money if your an huge Spidey fan. The first game was sort of boring, but this one is worse. Please don't buy it (unless your a Spidey fan). I can't wait untill I get the PSP game because there will be more villains, more tricks that Spidey will do, more places to go (Including the Statue of Liberty), and you'll get help from Black Cat. If you don't have a PSP and you want this game, your outta luck. Because this game is not anywhere close to how good the PSP game will be. I only gave it a three star because I'm Spidey's biggest fan, and even now I only give three stars.

I dont think Spiderman 1 was so good. The graphics was bad, the sound was blotchy and the swinging was unrealistic. But Spiderman 2 is great fun. You actually get to do tricks with your web and if you swing on a helicopter and dont release your web it will give you a ride. Although Spiderman 2 is a lot easier than the original its much better. I like black cat too. And you can certainly jump higher than the first one along with running faster and doing better and more skilled attacks. Level 3 can get queit irritating. Just when you think you can relax and have a little swing around a timer comes up and you have to go over all the way to another place.

It's worth the money.

I got this game for my birthday and I played it at once. The first few levels are boring until it gets to the villain fighting. I like this game in all ways exepept unlike the first game you can't swing wherever you want. You can only swing on web targets. And a lot of levels are to easy. And some levels are just a little to hard. Exaple Mysterio throwing rocks at you is just to hard and I can't beat him. By the way if you can tell me how to beat him a liitle more easy then type [...] and I'll try to beat him. When you try to throw rocks at Mysterio they explode in your face. And you can't even climb to the top of the Buildings. Yet this game seems to be worth the money only if your a Spidey fan.
