I want to say, I read some great reviews on this game and decided to try it.Its awsome!!!The coolest star wars villain ever, Jango fett, is obviousley your character. You get to use sweet gagdets, like flamethower, whipcord, jetpack, toxic darts, and more!!!The graphics are good and the controls are easy, but one thing....Its incredibly hard at times!!!(also said in other reviews)You can save only after beating the levels, there are checkpoints, but you only get 5 lives before you must restart the WHOLE LEVEL, which is extremely frusterating at times.I had to use codes after the asteroid prison levels!!!And those are still extremely hard to beat.A word of advice, if you dont have patience you will not enjoy this game AT ALL especially some of the tedious jumps with your jetpack.Overall,4.5 stars really.

One of the funnest games I've played

I'm a big Star Wars fan, and I have almost every Star Wars game. Though, one of the funnest Star Wars games is this one. I love Jango Fett's jet pack, as well as the variety of weapons he has. The only thing bad about it is that few of the levels are really hard to beat.

Great game - run and gun baby!

Well, its a great no doubt about it. Sometimes the ID Scanner/Weapon select is cumbersome but id imagine if this was a real life situation, that would be an accurate portrayal. my only real complaint isnt with the game itself, but with my 3rd party memory card (InterAct's 16mb Mega Memory Card)The game would not recognize mine. I contacted InterAct and have received no response for over a week. So be warned, if you want this game and have that terrible memory card, its gonna cost you $75 instead of $50. For me its been worth every penny. Dead or Alive.

This Game is the best game that I ever played. It never had a dull part, and you always are doing something or hunting somebody. The bounty hunter game end leading right up to the pre clone war. The missions are long and challanging and make you feel real good when you beat it, but it just has this pull to it that you never want it to be over because it is really fun.
The only bad thing about it is that it has lots of gliches but the over all game makes you look past that.

Awesome Game

All right I bought this game after seeing my friends older brother playing and i expected it to be just okay. I thought that you would just chase after guys and take the easy way by blasting their heads off or doing samething to trap them but it's not like that. You don't know which guys are wanted so you have to use your scanner to see where they are which makes it more realistic. Then you can tie em up and collect your bounty. I've read a lot of reviews where people are saying it's too hard. I must admit it is pretty difficult (especially Chapter 3 which is the asteroid prison.) but not to the point where you should complain about it. I beat the asteroid prison with only restarting the last level once (the guys with rocket launchers can get pretty tough if you're flying around on your jet pack). That reminds me quit complaining about the jet pack. Have'nt any of you guys played the old star wars games? The Jet pack is the same way.So what if you only get a little bit of a burst. Thats usually all you need. Plus you can pick up the temporary upgrades for it. The in game movies are awesome. The briefs about crooks explain their bounties. Everything make sense. The graphics are great and controls are easy.Overall one of the greatest games ever. This game rocks. GO JANGO!!!

Overall a very good Star Wars gaming experience

Star Wars: Bounty Hunter puts you in the role of the bounty hunter Jango Fett. It is a first-person shooter in the same vein as "Dark Forces", execpt it is told from the viewpoint of a mercenary.

On the plus side, there are many weapons to choose from, including the twist of being able to fly via Jango's jetpack, albeit only for brief moments at a time. He basically has the full arsenal he had in the movie, including (but not limited to) poison darts, flamethrower, jetpack rockets, and other items that he finds in levels along the way. You also have the option of varying how difficult it is to shoot enemies by choosing to either to aim automatically or manually.

The storyline is one most Star Wars fans should enjoy, and the voice acting (including the actor who played Jango reprising his role here) is good.

On the minus side, the is no mid-level save game feature, so you are stuck having to complete a level if you want to make any progress in the game. Also, since you shoot with two guns at the same time, when using auto-aim the camera at times can become confused at what viewpoint to use, which creates a choppy picture. Another negative is the fact the the secondary bounties (optional side missions) are almost impossible. Unless you can find an isolated alien and sneak up on him, finding and marking bounties in the middle of a firefight with a group of other aliens is a cumbersome task.

In a nutshell, if you are a fan of the Star Wars universe and enjoy FPS, and you can find it at a classic price of $20 or less, I recommend picking up this game.

Overall? Mediocre.

I got thorough this game in a short while considering how long it's taken others that I know to get through it. During that time, however, I didn't have a life.
Though many got frustrated with this game I did very rarely. I'm the kind of person who loves a challenge and has a very high patience level.
In Star Wars I've always loved the Bounty Hunters, they seemed very interesting and were fun to study. I had to struggle a lot to find any information about Jango Fett and this game helped, it goes rather in depth with Jango Fett.
According to some of my sources some people like to 'feel' like a bounty hunter, if that's your only reason find another game, only on one level do you actually 'feel' like a bounty hunter.
I enjoyed this game mainly for the challenge, the levels got harder and longer as I progressed, I struggled with my last few. You often have to find very small ledges.
The graphics were well done in some parts, very bad in others. Sometimes Fett would become part of the scenery for a moment and then come back into sight so I tried not to get to near to objects.
If you like a challenge I suggest this game, but only if you're a Star Wars fan. To those with small amounts of patience, may I suggest another game?

Jango Fett Rocks

I bought this game back in 2004 and was amazed at the graphics quality and control sceme. Going through Tattooine,Corusant, and many other star wars planets were amazing. There is a lot of repetivness but seeing what happens next is worth it. I don't know if George Lucas considers this official star wars canon or not but it tells you all about Jango Fett before attack of the clones. The levels are tremendously long and tough in the later missions. They take full avantage of all the aliens and creatures star wars has to offer including tusken raiders ,toydarians, dougs, gammorians, rodians, hutt, nexu, and krayt dragons. I wish they could have added multiplayer where you could play as other star wars bounty hunters or at least after you beat the game (which is very hard by the way) get an alternate Bobo Fett costume. The jetpack only lasts for about a few sceconds and the camera can be tricky at times but besides that this game is great for any star wars fan to add to his or her collection.
