This game is by far the best I've ever played. In addition to that, it also has no blood, a big bonus. The lightsaber moves are great, I'm still figuring out new ones! They include flips, rolls, wallwalking, even lightsaber THROWS! The graphics are the best yet, using the most advanced engine available (Quake 3). The force powers are simply amazing (Force choke, push, pull, lightning, absorb, force drain etc.) The AI technology is the best EVER. Single player is not the greatest just because you can't have a lightsaber and force powers right away, and the guns get tedious after a while, but the multiplayer more than makes up for it. Raven really outdid themselves this time. ...

Once upon a time there was an amazing computer game based in a land far far away. This game had fluid animations, amazing detail, tight controls, awesome way of using force abilities and so on and so forth. It gave everyone the feel that they too were in the star wars universe. However there were a few "Dark" Jedi who refused to admit the game was good. This was because of their inferior and slow ancient computers used during the clone wars. The End

This game is one of the best games ever maid.I am currently useing one of the new mac laptops on OS X.1.5 and I have no problems if i turn down the graphics. So if you have a faster computer im sure you'll have no trouble at all with compadibility. If you have any doubts download the demo and see how it checks out. I begg anyone who is questioning the game to do this it least. The storyline is one of the best I've ever seen. I'm really disapointed in the level design however. I can't tell you how long Iv'e spent back tracking to find a hidden button or key. Dark Forces had great level design and it's to bad it didn't carry over. Another Slight problem I found was the saving sometimes the checkpoint didn't save right and whenever I tried to open it the game crashed. However this is minute. These is the only con however that I see. Their isn't anything in this world more satisfying than chopping up storm troopers with your lightsaber. The force powers are great. The multiplayer is beyond anything ever created. What could be better then dueling it out with eight guys. Lightsabers flying along with people. Nothing in Mac gameing history is as cool.

The singal player is a little bit annoying because of the level design. But it's still worth it but the multiplayer alone is worth the 50$!

Katarn vs. the Sarlacc!

The best level is the one in which Katarn falls into the maw of the Sarlacc, where he learns a new definition of pain as he is slowly digested over 1000 years! Warning: That level takes place in real time, so it might take a while to complete. The only power available is Force Decompose, so don't even try Force Jump. And your puny Jedi Mind Trick won't work on me--I mean him!

When i first heard about Kyle Katarn returning, I was so excited, i asked my mother to go to fry's right away. This game it all, the force powers, the light saber, YOU EVEN GET COMBAT EXPERIENCE SO YOUR LIGHTTSABER DOES MORE DAMAGE!!! One of the most exciting things i thought of was that i get to force push all the the gangsters (This happens in Nar Shadda) off cliffs. I like the story line as one of the best, the way Jan Ors (Kyle's partner) gets supposedly killed by An evil Sith. Kyle goes nuts for a while, until he finds out Jan may still be alive. Then you get to kill lots of people with lightsabers, and finally get the boss (Desann) and get vengance, overall, bye this game, my review wont let me say anymore :) KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK LUCAS!!!!

If you don't think JKII will kick tail then you must be out of your mind!. Were else could u feel the power of the lightsaber and the pleasure to kill a Dark Jedi and blow those stormtrooper's head off!. This is a game you must have! Go and pre-order it now!!!! Hurry!!! Enjoyable strictly from the genera perspective

The star rating is just specifically related to the game play. It is a very enjoyable game and who doesn't love the Star Wars "Universe"? But overall the game falls short in the graphics category. I was expecting much more out of Lucas Arts / Raven than what was released. Blocky graphics, horrible looking cut scenes (as compared to Return to Castle Wolfenstein) and a targeting system that's tenuous at best. If I were to score based wholly on graphics, I'd have to give it 2 out of 5 stars.

Good game play, Jedi powers, a Lightsaber and a decent story line make up for the pedestrian graphics.

For those that are compelled to flame, I'm running a P4 1.6 GHz, 1GB RAM, with a GeForce3 AGP.

Started at 4 stars ended at 1.

Basically as you start playing this game you will be impressed.
Then As you continue to run around looking for buttons to push, and codes to to help with puzzles you will get frustrated.

I wanted to log in and shoot lots of stormtroopers ( which you do get to do ) but the button pushing puzzles killed the game for me.
Multiplayer is still a mystery to me. I feel like Im playing a flight sim with all the different controls. You cycle through force, weapons, then use force change this do that on and on.
Pain in the posterior.
Lightsaber duels? Yeah do I win some sure, do I know why I won some and lost others? Total Mystery. Basically Left Click and hold to swing saber and as you move around crouch jump you perform different swings
All That being said if you like a complicated shooter this game is probably right up your alley. I play Everquest, Asheron's Call and Dark Age of Camelot when I want a complicated shooter.
A better game in my opinion would be Medal Of Honor Allied Assault. Simple shooter, awesome graphics, great multiplayer, and single player game.

when i first bought this game i was very excited. I had read tons of reviews and knew the first five levels were frusterating, but i didnt know how bad it really was! it is nothing but wave after wave of storm troopers. the first rifle you get is ok but it r either innacurate, fast and weak or slow and powerful. it gets old, the puzzles r frusterating, annoying and pointless. I beat the first two levels and then got so mad i skipped to the jedi academy! IM SORRY! I HATE CHEATING! but this game made me do it, now i have my saber, i cant stop! I JUST CANT! ITS AMAZING! u can flip off a wall throw ur light saber in mid jump, it cuts a guy arm off, u push a guy down a pit then rip a gun out of a guys hand with force pull, and then the saber snaps right back into your hand... BUY IT! but skip the first five levels haha
