Online Gaming At Its Best

This game is a great example of what online gaming should be fun and very different everytime u play it and more games should at least be like it and sierra has a very good on line gaming server with won net. And other good game to get is crimson skies other than that get this version cause it saves u time so you dont have to download the firearms mod.

Once you learn the controls, this game can get pretty wild. If you have trouble playing checkers on a computer, stay away. Half Life itself is incredible,but once on multiplayer,(LAN) if you're a little slow, you're toast. Some of the competitor's, let's say, I wouldn't want to meet in an alley. But..excellent game. Congrats to Sierra..!!

Excelent, That is all there is to it. all other first person shooted were leading to this.

Half life is brilliant. The graphics are not the best, but they are good. It is very exciting and it took me a long time and kept me fully occupied.

half life is so cool.i like the part were you do the experiment and every thing go's wrong and aleins come from a portal and start attaking you.the other part i like is where when you go through this one door every thing go black and the military capture you.

and if you haven't, then don't bother playing it now. It's soo old, and the graphics are poor compared to current games. Other than the graphics and the I've-done-that-before feel it's a good game, but old!

This PC-CDROM Game gives you a great tutorial level then takes you into the game itself which is excellent from a to z. Great movement withjoystick and controls. Nice graphics. Very realistic. I liked this one alot.

1. It's done some things so well that even newer games fall short of it.
2. The multiplayer was engineer'd so sweetly...
3. Ohmygod I love TFC.
4. VALVE CREATED THE ENGINEER. THE ENGINEER WIELDS THE EMP OF DEATH. THUS, HALF-LIFE IS COOL.
5. Sure the graphics arent as nice as things today but at least they're cool for their time and I never get tired of em
6. Mods, Server-Side DLLS and custom maps, oh my...
7. Oh sweet wonderful Half-Life, I have never gotten stuck inside a solid...
8. O thank you Valve, for sparing me the black disconnected screen...

wow, i maean WOW! This is te best game in existance!!!! my fav is countr-strike, you get to use several weapns, including the P-90, MAC-10, AK-47, grenades, flashbangs, how much better can it get!

i found myself dyin left and right at first but give it a while and you will rule the game.

I have played a lot of pc games when I have spare time and I am constantly selling old and buying new games. Halflife however, is one of the rare games I have kept on my shelf. It exceeds standards far beyond that of title such as "Quake2" and I personally feel it can still hold its own against games such as "Quake3 arena" and "Unreal tournament". Its one of those games that once you have it you can't get rid of it and it still manages to be replayable time after time when you have that feeling in your gut that you just have to kill a few more aliens to satisfy your craving! Don't get me wrong, I don't sit at my computer 24/7. I'm hardly on it at all now but from time to time when I am it is one of the games I'll plug in and kill until the cd melts from overuse! The onlly word I could realy use to describe it is 'unputdownable!'. Its one of those games you have to go out and buy and experience for yourself, otherwise you won't have a clue what im talking about. Its a classic, BUY IT, PLAY IT, ENJOY IT!!!
