I downloaded the trial version of MW4M. Here is what I thought of the game. Good grahpics, bizzar combat, play over 4? mechs. Including the longbow, owens, hellhound, hellspawn, uziel, raven, and the flea. fight in the jungle book-like arena, fight in a factory, or fight in the Roman Coliseum. Or do a mission and lead your mechs to victory. But I'll experience the action in the full version. In the demo you can try out two missions, the arena jungle game, and play with humans using the LAN. You get for Multiplayer maps is the jungle arena, and the oilspill. But thats my review.

Mech Warrior 4 Vengence was a great game, with a solid plot, good gamplay, and great overall tilt. I have also purchased Mech Warrior: Black Knight and loved it-with more weapons, mechs, and overall destruction whats not to love? Mercinaries does the same thing. Not only added content, but a new story, way of play, added a second lance, and different strategy makes Mercinaries Mech Warrior 5.
Alright in this one its no so much weapons and graphics...

...can you imagine being a mercenary, being able to chose what to do, i mean COME ON!!! This game is like backstabbing galore when you switch contracts with different factions, buy different mechs and weapons and hire your own pilots to be part of your lance! It's great! I highly recommend this for PC gamers, and is a must have for Mechwarrior fans

Very fun, I also have Mechwarrior Trilogy. If you like to piloting 100 ton armored Mechs with enough wepons to level a city, then this is the game for you. The fight for money in this version is added fun and the arenas are another fun new twist. If you get a chance grab a Sidewinde joystick for extra piloting control. 5 stars for fun, the overall fun is 4 stars because Microsoft should have incuded the MekPaks for free.

This is the best game I have ever played! It sure beats Mechwarrior 4 Vengence. The graphics are awesome. When another mech's arm or leg is blown off, you actually see that part missing. What also helps is the invincibility and no heat opitions you can use. The variaty of mechs is huge(I prefer the Fafnir for its ballistic capabilities, and the Sunder for its possible missile and beam weapons). What's also cool is the Free Market. In Mechwarrior 4 Vengence, you can only salvage, now you earn C-Bills(cash) to buy weapons, teamates and best of all Mechs of the Free Market. Another cool part is the Solaris VII arenas, you can make major C-Bills there.(Not to mention if you get to a certain point, the news area will talk about a fan club in honor of you!) Another thing is that you can choose from three diffrent endings, two ending with Steiner and one with Davion. This game is the BEST!

This is the best Mech war game I have played, so far. It has great graphics, game play and easy to use controls. I love making my mechs and then testing them on the Wave of a Mech of your choice. I will be looking for other Mech 4 games, or Mech 5.

If you want to expand your Mech universe this is a needed piece of software. It does work on XP and Vista but you have to run it as administrator. This adds the mercenaries viewpoint to your battlemech software.

This was the last great mechwarrior game. Future mechwarrior games were turned into more arcade friendly FPS style games and abandoned most of the simulation and customization of this and earlier titles.
