Unexpectedily a great game

OK some of you remember the gun survival games that really didnt do as good as intended but capcom wanted to give it another shot in this new version of the game.

For me, I thought this game would be a total rip off, instead now im saying its great. This adds the new effect of changing from third person to first which is really cool. Its now a lot easier to shoot zombies in the head and know if your aiming right. Although sometimes its a pain to switch sometimes (example zombie quickily coming towards you) and you miss is the only downside.

I LOVE THIS GAME. YOU PLAY BRUCE MACGAVIN ON A HIJACKED CRUISE SHIP. OTHER PLAYABLE CHARACTERS ARE FONGLING. THIS GAME HAS PRETTY GOOD GRAPHICS ON THE MINI MOVIES AND OK ONES ON THE REST OF THE GAME, THE WEAPONS ARE AWESOME AND THE CREATURES ARE RLLY COOL THERE A BOSSES WHICH ARE RLLY COOL EXCEPT THE FAT GIGALIY THING. SOME OF THE CREATURES LOOKED KIND OF STUPID BUT IT WAS A GOOD GAME. I WOULD RECOMMEND GUNCON2 OTHERWISE THE GAME ISN"T MUCH FUN.

IM A FAN OF RESIDENT EVIL GAMES , I LOVE TO PLAY ALL THE GAMES , SPECIALLY CODE VERONICA X , I SPENT SOME TIME ON IT BUT I DEFINITLY BEAT IIT , THEN I HEARD ABOUT THIS NEW RESIDENT EVIL DEAD AIM AND I THOUGHT : " I HAVE TO BUY IT" , WHEN I FIRST BEGAN TO PLAY THE GAME I NOTICED THAT IT WAS DIFFERENT FROM THE OTHER , I SPENT A VERY VERY SHORT TIME TO BEAT IT , THE STORY IS SO BAD , THE MONSTERS IN THE GAME , THEY CAN ATTACK YOU BUT YOU WOULDNT RECIEVE MUCH DAMAGE ,THE GRAPHICS ARE GOOD BUT I THINK THAT THIS GAME IS SO EASY TO BEAT , I TELL YOU NOT TO BUY THIS HORRIBLE GAME , IT MAKES ME FEEL VERY DISSAPOINTED ABOUT RESIDENT GAMES .

I RENTED THIS GAME WHENRVER I FIRST HEARD ABOUT IT. BEING A RESIDENT EVIL FAN I REALLY THOUGHT IT WAS FUN. ALTHOUGH I HAVEN'T COMPLETDED THE GAME FULLY I NOTICED THAT IT WAS SHORT AND VERY EASY AS I PROGRESSED THROUGH IT BUT THAT DIDN'T REALLY BOTHER ME BECAUSE I LIKE ANY GAME WETHER IT IS EASY OR HARD. OUT OF ALL RESIDENT EVIL GAMES SO FAR I THINK THIS ONE IS GREAT CONSIDERING SOME DISAVANTAGES SUCH AS THE WAY THE CHARACTERS AIM GUNS WITHOUT THE AUTO-AIM FEATURE I FOUND HARD TO ATTACK MONSTERS ESPECIALLY WHEN YOU'RE NEAR ONE BUT IF YOU'RE A FAN OF ALL RESIDENT EVIL GAMES LIKE I AM A GOOD IDEA WOULD BE TO RENT IT FIRST, TRY IT OUT THEN BUY IT IF YOU LIKE IT.

I bought the Japanese version, which is bundled with a Guncon2!!

I've heard someone complaint about "No auto aim".
But I think the best part of this game is "Aim and shoot" concept.

So...
Why will you expect "Auto aim" from a "Aim and shoot" game??

If you hold the gun in your hand instead of the analog joystick.
You will find the difference when facing the zombies.

The Drawback is:
1.Story line is not long enough!!(A little longer will be better)
2.Guncon2 have no recoil or vibrate effect support,which will bring you more realistic feel.

My suggestion is:
Get the Guncon2 first (If you like aim and shoot), then get this
game(Rent or buy or ...)!!

The way to enjoy this game is different from the other RE games:
Get the Guncon2 !!

This game is going to be very good. I have seen tons of screan shots, and I have seen some videos of it being played. You will beable to walk around in 3rd person view, but when you go into combat, you go into 1st person view. The Blood and gore in this game is great! I also like the way the zombies and creatures looked. They even had Zombie sailors. You are on a big ship, and you have to regain control over it. This is a whole new story line. I am going to get this game, and If you are a Resident Evil fan, you should too.

If blasting zombies is your bag, this is the game for you!!! You can play standard game controller style, or hook up the gun and blast away House of the Dead arcade fashion. I played through both ways and loved it! You get a nice arsenal in this one, but try not to stock up too much on the big firepower because you're a bit limited in how much ammo you can carry, so you'll end up with a too few total rounds (the more punch it packs, the fewer round per box). The only downfall was the game ended. I could have kept pn playing forever!

First off... the Guncon2. The game would suck without it. Definately entertaining in the fact that it is easily controlled and the transition from third person to first person is very smooth. Compared to the other resident evil games it is a lot easier and there aren't as many puzzles but I think the focus in this game is more on the shooting itself. My one complaint is that the game is WAY TOO SHORT!!!! I beat it in 4.5 hours on normal mode. However the actual shooting of zombies makes up for this small letdown. And what better way to relieve some stress than shooting zombies in the head??? I would say this is definately a game to own.

The guncon makes this game bad ass. Scary, Scary, Scary. the gun i have is the desert eagle .50 ae. Just like the cool gun in the game, but any guncon2 will be fine. Move around isn't to easy with the d-pad on the lightgun but resident evil games have never been much control. Graphics aren't as good as the Gamecube resident evil zero, but trust me their fine on the ps2. I highly recommend this game. you might think of getting a guncon just for this game it will be worth it if you pick up a game like time crisis II with it.
