LOTR
Read other reviews for detail. My thoughts:
- Fighting gets redundent after a while but the key battle are fun and true to the movie.
- Leveling up adds a layer of attention that makes the game more interesting
- Good sound and music
Nice game that I am still playing.

BUY THIS!!!!!

People say this game will totally kill the competition in RTS but people havent been looking at warhammer 40K or Rome : total war. There are so many new RTS games coming out its hard to say which will be the best but there are many upcoming and newly released RTS's that look soo much better and even the way the gameplay looks better. Also i have a feeling EA will ruin the way u build a base trying to make it look cooler than it should or making it more abstract then it should be. Don't get me wrong this still looks like a fun game but it hardly looks like one of the best even the top competitors for the fall/ christmas this year.

fantastic game

Now the multi player may seem like the only fun, but that is not true. the campaighn kepps you on your toes, especially when you control minas tirith the forces of mordor unlesh an attack so powerful, it is all you can do to keep the city standing! however, how the heck do you play the sucking level in mordor?!?!?!?!?!?!?! any way, the levels are fun, and the game itself rules. well? are you just going to sit there reading my review? go buy the game!

This is one of the best computer games i have ever played. If you have enjoyed games like age of empires this is deffinatley the game for you. Online is my favorite part of this game. after playing this game for hours i only found one thing i didnt like. You have to have a different access code for every different computer on your network to have a network game, but that's my only complaint.

woah i was really dissapointed

ok i was so dam excited about buying BFME because it had the C&C engine and all magazines were saying about these massive battles and heroic victories......but where are they ? in skirmish mode only 200 command points.I hope its not like C&C where u have to play 4000 times to be able to unlock more stuff . Slow action the graphics were a little dissapointing as well i have a ati radeon x800,audigy platnium 2zx and 2 gbs of ram .The action is like someone else said "underwater action"

The only other thing i have to say is the presets for your buildings is very chessy you only have like 10 presets and thats in a castle map in camps and outposts u have like 3 whats up with that. How is that suppose to be like the movie with a little base.to end this review OVER THIS GAME IS DOUBE HANDS DOWN.....BAD DONT BUY THIS UNTILL YOU DO YOUR RESEARCH AND FIND OUT ABOUT THE BULLCRAP THEY SAID ABOUT THIS GAME........THE END

Great! but....

I saw all the previews. it showed thousands of units fighting on screen. i thought that u would be able to do this in the game. i was shocked to find out that u could barely reach over a hundred using the "good" forces. even the return of the king DVD show-cased these enormous fights. However this game was fun despite this. The graphics are great! I personally suggest to get War hammer dawn of war over this one

This gameoverall is a great game. The graphics are a 10 out of 10. The only problem is if your computer isn't that fast you shouldn't get this because it will take to long to load and your computer will lag all the time while in gameplay. My computer is pretty fast but online game play is a little laggy at times.

Limited Growth

The game provides no growth as far as building buildings or upgrading your armies. You can play each civ once and be bored. The way you use each civ is the same, they do not have unique attributes beyond naming the armies and buildings something different. I guess if I never was to play an rts I would like it, but since i have games like Rise of Nations, etc. to compare it against it falls very short. If you like lord of the rings and have bought all of the other games, then by all means go out and buy this one, but if you like a good rts this is not one of them. BTW: One resource to collect, and about 8 units to build, it even sounds boring:)
