Need For Speed: Most Wanted

This game is by far the best tuner racing game out. Wonderful graphics and game play. Nice selection of cars to choose from and awsome time losing the 5-0. Wish they had more cars from the underground series, However this game holds its own. Must have tuning car, cop chasing, import racing, n02 using game.

Wrong Direction for the game

OK i started out with a clear positive attitude for this game. I mean it's need for speed it has to be good, right. NO! I liked underground 2 with some of the best free roam capabilities for a racing game. Differing shops for differing needs. this one one stop shops and less customization than nfsu2. While your racing the cars paint scratches off! WTF? either you get damage or you don't. no lost paint! The cop chases suck! you either lose them way too easy or you are busted no matter how good you drive. bad game for me. you might like it, if you like underground games you won't.

Graphics are improved, but what else?

NFS: Most Wanted is a good game. The only thing, it seemed like, that was improved was the graphics. Gameplay was improved, but not by that much. This game seemed linear to me. Sorry, nice try.

One of the best in the series

I bought this game on a whim, having really liked Need For Speed: Hot Pursuit 2. This game needs help. First of all, the frame rate is lower than it should be. There is slow-down as well. Even the game before this, Need For Speed: Underground 2 looked 100 times better. The car models in Most Wanted are a touch nicer-looking and there is a far better selection than Underground 2, but that's the only plus this game has to it. You don't race as much as fly around the city in a barely-controlled frenzy, trying to stay ahead of the computer cars. Winning is more by luck than skill. He or she who hits the least obstacles wins. Hardly an enjoyable way to race! I get too stressed when playing this game, so I put it away for a while. Definitely rent before buying this game.

Some Pros, And Some Cons

Well, this game is alright, but it still has some things that aren't fun to use.

The cars in this game are cool and fun to drive, but all the cars are tuners and exotics. This game doesn't have any Luxury Sedans, SUV's, Trucks, and Classics or Muscles. Not one! But my favorite car is the Lamborghini Murcielago, but still, this game doesn't have all the cars I wanted!

You can customize your car, your way, but there is not a lot of customizing coices available to you.

The opponents are tought. You have to beat them all if you wanted to be #1!

A game that I reccomend is Midnight Club 3: DUB Edition. It has all the features that Need For Speed Most Wanted doesn't have.

Even though this game is popular, doesn't mean it's as good as other racing games out there. I probably think the other Need For Speed editions like the Hot Pursuit 2 edition are better than this one!

NFS Most Wanted is ok, but there are a few things I don't like about it. The variety of cars is mediocre, and the controls are horrible. How can you eliminate the old fashioned way of control by using the pad? I absolutely hated that. The amount of vehicles is horrible...only 37. In NFS Hot Pursuit 2, there were close to 50. I am not thrilled with the tuning feature, and what's the deal with the NOS? The way I see it, if you need NOS on your car, then your car isn't fast enough.

I like the police AI, that's just incredible, and the 3d models of the vehicles are incredible. The gameplay is great and the combining of the elements from Hot Pursuit 2, Underground, and Underground 2 helps the game, but the variety of the cars hinders it.

great game for boys

My 10 y.o. son loves this to death. It is one of the few "T" games we can agree upon, and he feels cool to be playing a big kid game.

a more improved version of need for speed

While the graphic and the details were very impressive and outstanding, the game starts with ease and then, later it gets rather frustrating. There is no force feed like Need For Speed- In Hot Pursuit so you have to frustratingly force the wheel in order to make the car respond. The scenes are so breathtaking and the characters are so lifelike that I thought, how in the hell did they do that? The songs are rather not in my favor so I tend to see that annoying. I would recommend that game for those who want to see what it is like to drive an actual car, though I feel that the game should be a bit tweaked up so I could find it easy to drive a real car instead of trying to force the car to respond when it seems to have a stubborn mind of its own.

Great, except....

I really like NFS:MW, however, I've hit a point in the game where I need to achieve one more milestone to advance. However, the milestone involves outrunning the cops, and I have to keep a cop around to ensure I can rack up the needed bounty, cop cars hit or damage to state. In order to get the points needed, I find myself stopping and waiting for the cops to catch up or even doubling back TO GO FIND THE COPS and engage them again. It's kind of unnerving. I hope to advance past this point soon (it's been a few days now just on this one part)and, hopefully, make it to the top of the blacklist.
