Best NFS ever!

This is the best NFS game ever, the police chases are awsome and alot more relistic then they were in Hot Pursuit, realistic sounding cop transmission etc. The carrer mode is awsome and so is the free rome mode. I give this game 5 stars easy.

My son received this game for Christmas and I don't see him or my husband much anymore.... They love this game!!!!! I think thier controllers have become attached to thier hands forever...

The best Need For Speed game ever

I am very thrilling. This game is fun, fast and very explosive. First, for the gameplay, it is good because there are a lot of cars to choose. These cars are very fast. Also, when I play the milestone portion, it has a very explosive feelings i.e. I have to violate a lot of laws. For example, hitting those police cars hard, driving in a wrong way, hit and run and resisting of arrest. I have to get to these serious stuff happen to get more bounty. More heat, longer time, more bounty. For the regular race portion, good steering when I drive. However, I have to win every race to make it count. Once I have enough race wins, milestones and bounties, I can go to challenge the blacklist opponent. For that, it has a lot of fun too. So, for the gameplay overall, it is perfect. For the music/song, it is very good. However, some music/song I heard before in other EA games. If you have other EA games, you know what I am talking about. For the visual, it is a bomb. It means it is excellent. It is awesome. The car crashing visual is real. The glass will be truly broken and I will trade the paint. Overall, an awesome and explosive game, it is one of the "must-buy game" in the Fall of 2005.

bad for underground fans

If you liked the features of underground 2, you'll despise this game. I'm not just gonna say it sucks, i'm gonna give you reasons it sucks. First of all, this is not a street racing game. What street racer can afford a friggin Mercedes SLR McClaren? holy crap! you have about 1/4 of all the cars that are actual tuners. The rest are for the rich dudes. not like underground. Then the cop chases suck! you either lose them in about a minute or they are glued to your tail pipe. their ai seems to be trying to put makeup on or something. Then all the shops are gone and you just have one that you go to. good idea, but don't get rid of hydraulics and the sound systems. EA also decided to make you be able to scratch your car?!?! crappy damage system, takes off all the paint and makes the car look like crap. New races are good like tollbooth and speedtrap. The former being just a normal time trial race and the latter where you go by radar detectors and the person with the highest total speed wins. Like speed trap but you don't get to do it til blacklist 12. sold the game, i hated it. loved the underground series. This just defiles the name of Need For Speed.

Need for speed serie have a lot of games but yet,this one is the best!One thing thats different from the undergrounds is that the police is there ,making great poursuit unlike the undergrouds they lacked a bit because they didn t have the police.The cars are better loking than before ,the upgrades are about the same with exeptions but a coll adition is the blacklist where you have to defeat every 15 riders in order to be the most wanted and have all the rides.You get a new car when you beat a blacklist member.The town is way better because its day and the roads are easier to get to places wich in undergrouds was a bit hard to do.The car selection is good as always with 30 and more cars.There is two player as always ,the game is a vast improvement over the underground series like police,chases and the blacklist i had lot of fun with this game but i only did 15% after about 3 hours wich makes the game long,very much improved the best need for speed out there.If you want to buy it go ahead ,great game in my opinion just with the police and the-easier-to-travel towns maked this game one of the best of 05`beating pretty much every racing games out now with few exeptions as burnout.Nothing wrong here just great!

NFSU2 was a good game, with a lot of races, challenges and cars. An a lot of tuning. NFSMW is a good game with new cars and challenges.

PROS:
New cars like Lamborghini Gallardo and Murcielago
Faster cars
Police pursuits
Josie Maran

CONS:
Police pursuits can be long and annoying
Few vynils and pieces for tuning, you have to unlock them
The sensation of speed is unreal, even when your car has the best of the best to run
No SUV'S

Best New racing game ever and cool new cars!

I really like the way this game has been made because now you have to take the streets and deal with Police now. I like the graphics and the car designs because the colors on the cars are cool. I actually played other racing games by Electronic Arts before, like Beetle Adventure Racing for the Nintendo64 which that my friend is a cool game by Electronic Arts. But now Electronic Arts made some cool new racing games now and I always like playing their games all the time. So if you want a racing game buy this game it's a pretty good racing game.

game glitches

well for one this game froze when I beat razor on the final race the first time and I noticed a few glitches also in the game like numbers will change during the game and other nonspecific things at first I thought it was my system but after reading responses it seems to be the game itself

more cars, less parts

Some of the things i found in this game were that the customization was limited. it had less parts than Need For Speed Underground 2, but what i really like apart from the cops and the pursuits was the opportunnity to pimp out a lamborghini, or a viper. On the bad side this lack some cars like nissans or mitsus.

In the parts customization were presets bodykits which is ok but it could be better to make your own bodykit changing bumpers and fenders. In the visual part color option was the same as Need For Speed Underground 2 but it lacks the 4 layers of vinyls, but the racing stripes made me forget that. The performance costumization was good but some parts were very expensive for just some extra horses.
About the performance tuning section its a lot easier now and not so complicated as the dyno-tuning which was also good.

But apart from the cars the carrer mode is longer to complete and a little harder too. Beating some of the blacklists was easy but beating Razor in 5 races was harder.

If you are a Need For Speed fan and enjoy pimping exotic cars and being involved in police puirsuits, this is the game for you.
