A really great game

I thought this was a really great game. The only reason I gave this 4 stars instead of 5 is that Liu Kang is dead, and the krypt. I mean the krypt has hidden characters, but getting sketches? There's no use. There are 676 coffins, and only about 9 hidden characters. Other than these 2 problems,this is a game that will fill the hunger for the MK crave.

Mortal Kombat:Deadly Alliance is awesome everyone should buy it.
Graphics are excellent and every thing in it is good. You can also select the weapons in it and it also have lots of blood and the fatalaties are great but some of them are not good like jax fatalaty is boring but most of the fatalaties is good.My favourite fatalaty is off Reptile.There are also lots of new player in it and the reptile is new one better the previous Mortal Kombat game.So this game is simply the best

I never thought Midway would ever release to us a decent Mortal Kombat game since Mortal Kombat Trilogy. With lackluster releases such as Mortal Kombat: Sub Zero, Mortal Kombat: Special Forces, and Mortal Kombat Gold, they have finally managed to redeem themselves. Although not a perfect game, it's a great place to pick up for another sequel. Perhaps Deadly Alliance 2 could fillup the errors that this game has. For one, the Krypt is just plain stupid, and 2nd, it's too damn hard. Even on the easiest difficulty, I still have trouble beating it. The moves are also limited. There's only around 20 moves per character. Oh yeah, the fatalities (Mortal Kombat's trademark finishers) are pretty [dumb] in this version. Perhaps they ran out of ideas?

Never-the-less, it has a great engine, and some nice visuals. Pick it up if you want a game worthy of the Mortal Kombat name.

If you want a fighting game, why not get this one. I mean there are many many fighting games out there such as Virtua Fighter 4. But this game is just as good, but better. There are out of this world moves. And for a plus there is a thing called the Kript that has 676 coffins that cost you Koins. You get bonuses such as New Characters for a big thing and drawings for a small thing.
It has good, not great graphics but i can live with it.Buy it now! The only thing is that its rated M for lots and lots o blood.

Fatal Attraction: One of the most widely anticipated aspects of any Mortal Kombat game is the range of Fatalities! And even though there is only one per character, they are far from dissapointing!
There are brains flying about, blood being scattered everywhere, electrocutions and decapitations, severe neck trauma and even the off belly flop! Such a variety of ways to "finish" Off your victim and none of them very sportsmanlike. It's another incentive, if one were needed, to thoroughly trounce your opponent!

Why I'd buy it:
-Superb 3D fighting action
-The fatalities are still good and suitably grisly.
-I've always wanted to imprison someone's soul.... hmmm...riiite.

Why I'd leave it to decay and rot:
-It's tight focus on bashing faces in may get tiring.
-Konquest mode lacks depth.
-Couldn't they have come up with a better story by now???

Graphics/Visuals: Blood and guts, facial damage, superb physical effects.

This game is superb. The graphics are excellent, the gameplay is flawless, the fighting styles allow for an incredible amount of variance in how you fight. Two people could play the same character but fight in completely different ways, this is unprecedented in a fighting game. Coupled with the great sound effects, smooth, flowing fights and the gruesome fatalities, it makes this the best fighting game I have ever played.

I have always been a fan of the Mortal Kombat games. When they announced a new game in the long-running series I was interested quickly and greatly annticipated this game's release.

When I finally got my hands on it the first thing I noticed was the game's graphics. Reviews that I read had told me that they [werent good], but I found them to be quite good. After a bloody battle you will see little red drops oozing from the character's arms and bruised faces, which adds realism to a very unrealistic game.

The gameplay in this game offers a smaller variety of moves from the previous game but you are quickly taught how to use them, and use them well. Sometimes there are some cheap moves that you can pull off but this will only be frustrating if you're playing two players.

The characters in this game are half given to you in the beginning and half locked away, waiting for you to play enough to accumulate coins to spend on them. They are locked in a place called the Krypt which is a collection of coffins which have every unlockable thing you can think of and you can only get them if you have the right coins. Some of the items can take awhile to get.

Overall this game is excellent and gets boring only after awhile, but has enough extras to keep you pounding away on your controller. When I first bought it I was skeptical of the fairly short 1 player mode which I easily beat but with all of the extras, characters and difficulties you won't want to stop playing. Trust me!

Mortal Kombat deadly allaince is awsome! An added Krypt and KOnquest mode, add some stratedgy to the game. Most of the classic character returmn along with some new ones, although u have to unlock radien. This time each character has only one fatalty, but they are grusome. Also, each charcter has 2 fighting styles and a waepon. Combos are not as easy as in the previous MK games, but they are still very doable. This game is a must have for any MK or fighting game fan.
