My father was a Battle field commissioned officer from WW2. He never understood or took any interest in my video games until I played MOH. He drop what he was doing and watched me play for hours. He was very impressed with the attention to detail of the uniforms and equipment.
I have no complaints with this game. I paid full retail and would again. The only improvment I would make is in better AI.
MOH is worth the money.

This game has a great storyline, but is too short! This was the first game I bought for the PS2. Another problem is that the A.I.
(artifical intelligence)is not too smart. But, I would highly suggest that you rent this before you buy it.But EA has made a great game otherwise.
Great Game!

Medal of Honor: Frontline is one of the best games i've ever bought/played in my life! The graphics, controls, and sound is outstanding! Anyone one who bad mouths this game is sorely mistaken. The game is lots of fun. I especially like how EA recreated D-Day. The levels aren't too challenging nor easy. I recommend this game to any gamer who likes a fantasic first person shooters.

This game is one of the best first-person shooters of 2002 because you have a very wide variety of levels and weapons to choose from. The missions are fairly difficult with 19 missions all together. It's pretty cool that you can choose from original MOH controls or new MOH controls when going into options.
I rank this five-star because the graphics are very realistic. You can actually see the Germans lying down or talking to each other. At one point a German is helping his dead parter by covering fire for him. If you like realistic first-person shooter games this would be the game for you. It's not exactly like James Bond 007 games because it dousn't have an auto-aim. There is a few different codes you can get but they really don't help much.
There are over 20 different weapons to choose from.My favorites are the Springfield Sniper and the Bazooka. All the weapons help at different points in the game. There usually 4-5 missions per level to complete it with six levels. You keep the same amount of ammo throughout the level unless you find ammo on the ground. There are also three difficulty level. The easiest is the enemy is new recruits and full health is recovered, 2nd is they are as good as you and only recover a little health each mission,3rd is they are better than you and you recover no health each mission. But, luckily you can find all sorts of health units to boost your health.
I thought this was very fun game that keeps you at a mission until you beat it. If you buy it I think you would like it.

I bought this game used, but it was worth EVERY penny!!!! The gameplay is intense. The background music messes with your head when you are trying to sneak up on people. There is no question, this is probably one of the best shooter games for PS2. Definately worth the BUY!!!!

The previous reviewer is right. The graphics could have been so much better, they weren't bad, just not great. I also had problems with the games AI. Enemy soilders followed the same routine from location to location and allied soliders have a bad habbit of putting themselves in bad spots and sometimes even blocking your movement. I also wished some of the missions could have been more squad based like the opening sequence.
Otherwise, what a fantastic game. It was like being thrust into every war story that my grandfather ever told me. A video game tribute to the greatest generation.
Besides the graphics, other aspects of the game were great. The sound track...WOW...worthy of any big buget movie. The ambient sounds also added much to the realism of the game. Again agreeing with the previous reviewer, a surround sound system makes you want to play the game just to listen to it. At the very least, a good stero TV is a must.
If you like FPS and WWII story lines then this game has what your looking for. It's like Indian Jones meets Private Ryan, only you are not hunting for lost treasures. This game made my top 10 gamming moments list. Any game that has a moment where you just say wow with wide eyes. That's the opening sequence in this game (despite the graphics).
The game has been out for sometime now and you should be able to get it at a discounted price so go for it. It makes a great addition to anyones FPS library.

This could have been the best game out for PS2 at the time, but it was far too short and had minor bugs. The background wasn't too interactive, either. Other than that... the game is phenominal. I just wish it could have improved upon some of the smaller details and made the game longer. The storyline and all that is amazing.
