Great game, one of the best PS2 games for young kids!

I play this with my 6 year old all the time. He loves it. It looks great and the gameplay is great. Not too hard and you really have to play as a team to progress. He can also make progess with his buddies also.

BTW, re: the review of A. Sybilrud below. I am playing this on one of the original PS2 machines and it works perfectly.

Lego Star Wars is a great game. The simple action is great fun and i don't find it kiddie at all. The cool feature of drop in and out coop. is a awsome feature. The graphics are good enough, the sound is good, the gameplay is better than perfect and the replay value is the best. You can get vechiles and get a secret mission. This game is better than Revenge of the Sith and is probably as good as KOTOR. Also the old ps2 glitch in the game in which it didn't work isn't true. I have one of the first PS2 and it worked perfectly on my System. Get Lego Star Wars!!!!!!!!!!!!

lego star wars is a pleasant surprise. don't be turned off by the kiddie lego graphics, because it's a great and entertaining game. the only reason i've given this a poor rating is because the gamecube version is a prettier and much better playing game than this one (and it's cheaper!).

This game is the best I took down one star because the people don`t talk. Still it`s great that they let you use the power of the force.2 player mode was better than using the force eyeybody gives me stuff just to play it.

I am not a "gamer," and my son (9) is very new to PS2, but we love this game. As other reviewers have noted, there are tons of characters to unlock and levels to complete. Of all the games he has (about 6), this and Lego Star Wars II hold his attention best--he and his friends seem to never tire of these games.

CALL me Crazy! But I love that Game.

The game is truly enjoybale and loaded with fun features for all ages. Hope they come up with one game with the Classic Trilogy.
