I rented it from Blockbuster. Hated it so much that I took it back the same day. THey should have kept the Bond games in 1st person, insteadd of in 3rd like this one. It is very hard to see anything, and the controls are messed up. Also, you have to unlock the multiplayer!

I walked up to my PS2 and inserted my disk and began to experience some of the best game play this planet has ever known! How they did it is beyond all scientific explanation, the technology that was used must be top secret because the game play blows All and I mean ALL game play that has ever been experienced in all of the games ever created. The first person, third person modes are something of legends. I can not believe how realistic the game play is. I have been playing this game non stop for 6 days and counting only breaking long enough to write this review, I even quit my job to devote myself to this game. I will never buy another or play another after playing this 007 game. I have to go I can only be away from it for so long or start to get withdrawal symptoms. Believe you me this game is the bomb, the mack daddy, the game to beat all others. James Bond is the man and he is my master!!! I love this game it is the best!!!

The game is poor and the story line does not tell you a lot about what you should do. The aiming for the shooting stinks; you always have to hold L1 to aim and than R1 to fire. But the graphics are really good and the punching is better than Nightfire. This is not a game for you if you like shooting. If I were you I would rent the game first or wait for it to come down in price.

This is probaly the best game I ever saw. It is awsome! The graphics are great and also the gameplay. The game has a wide varaity of veichles like motorcycles, tanks, helicopters and The Aston Martin. You must buy this game, if you don't to bad for you. So out of 1 threw ten I would give this game a ten.

THE GOOD:
awesome gameplay
THE BAD:
multiplayer is strange
this game has awesome gameplay and outstanding graphics but the multiplayer for 4 players is hard to understand. I mean, the multiplayer shoots the action on one camera other than a split screen mode which was why I was "skeptical of the multiplayer"
avoid this

Ok, I am a fan of the other James Bond games, and I eagerly waited to get this--let's just make that clear. Problems with this game: (1) auto-aiming: this game has all the shooting sophistication of GTA3 (i.e. very little) the previous Bond's were much more challenging and realistic; (2) multiplayer (offline): you can't even play the one on one battle mode out of the box, you must "unlock" it first!! wtf! that was the best part of the earlier Bonds' and one of the reasons why everyone liked them; (3) multiplayer (online): tried that earlier today, after spending about 20 minutes making various passwords and usernames I find that not one, not one, other person is playing online--which for me is a big draw on new ps2 titles--contrast this with MOH: Rising Sun and Socom which both have robust and easy to join (not to mention crowded) gaming communities online--and, even if you could play this online, how much fun would auto aiming be anyway? (4) saving/moving between sections of the game: this is very tedious and time consuming--you are prompted to save and do all kinds of stuff constantly in this game, very annoying.
That is just some of the problems: some other aspects of this game are neat but they are far outweighed by the dissapointment when this game is looked at in comparison to the previous, excellent, Bond titles. And I am not a flamer, I wanted this to be a great game.

Wow this game was fun the first thing that I noticed that kind of took me by surprize was this game is in third person! Though the third person is a bit choppy and hard to move around sometimes it works pretty well. The big thing that I found about the game was how great the vehicles come into the game! They were the best part!

I just recently bought a PS2. Upon my purchase I bought 13 new games, including GTA3, my favorite game. I just started this game, though, and let me say, it was incredible. I really liked the auto aim and wall hug. The missions are great. The graphics are very sharp and realistic and the real life voice acting is great. However, the game is a little too easy. But don't worry, they have plenty of challenges, such as achieving Platinum medals in 00 Agent, and 33 missions. Truly a great game, and one of the best of the series.
