I'm very surprised to find a few bad reviews of this very fun game. Not sure what the problem is, but don't let 'em stop you from trying it for yourself.
Yes, it is a third-person shooter, which is a first for the series. But what I've seen after several hours of gameplay is the best third-person shooter available. There are no camera angle problems whatsoever. It follows you and keeps most all of the action in frame.
Gadgets are what you'd expect, and the Q Spider is a blast to use.
Automobile physics are really great. Very comfortable to maneuver.
Special effects are amazing. Silly to say about a video game, but... you'll see what I mean. It truly does feel like a Bond movie...with Willem DaFoe. Gotta love it.
So, no complaints. Load times are good, save points are plentiful, missions are hard enough to keep you interested, weapons and gadgets, storyline... all great. Really top notch.

This is probabbly the best Bond game made so far. It packs tons off Bond action, gadgets and even some pretty cool Bond moves. In this cool new Bond installment instead with sticking to the old first person shooter they went with third peron. This new installmant is the evolution in Bond games. Some of the actual Bond actors were put into the game also like John Cleese (Q) and Pierce Brosnan (as Bond).
Fun Game, But Haven't I Played It Before?

"Everything Or Nothing" looks great and sounds great, but beneath the flashy surface, it's just another third-person shooter, not very different than a dozen other games in the genre. There are some standout moments, like when you're chasing after a train in a suped-up Porsche or free-falling over a cliff to catch a screaming Shannon Elizabeth. But the rest of the game is pretty standard stuff, ie: duck-n-shoot, mow down three bad guys, reload, mow down three more, yawn. There's even a "stealth" mission near the end that feels completely tacked-on, like the designers said "You know what this game needs? It needs a stealth mission. Yeah, yeah! A stealth mission!" Completely uninspired.
"Everything Or Nothing" isn't a bad game, don't get me wrong. A lot of work has obviously gone into it and I'm glad that EA has finally let go of it's "Goldeneye" fixation. But it's not the ground-breaking, jaw-dropping, awe-inspiring game that it could've so easily been.

I'm astonished with the reviews that have been given here on amazon for this great game. Based on the poor grammar and incorrect spelling I guess most of the reviewers here are 5 years old or simply stupid. I mention this because you can put little credence in the reviews. Having said this, to be fair, I'm 30 years old. I mention this because I have been playing games for a long time. This game is refreshing because it is in third person which to me makes it easier to play. Someone here said it's too easy to lock-in on bad guys in this game. Well, compared to first person games which are impossible to aim and shoot without getting killed, this is a blessing. This allows you to concentrate on having fun rather than getting pissed and frustrated non-stop.
As with all EA games, the graphics and story are excellent. At times I felt I was actually in the game. The best thing about the game is it's not monotonous. This is due to the different things you do such as motorcycling, flying a helicopter, repelling, driving a car and of course running around on foot. DO NOT LISTEN to the other reviewers here because they are out of their minds.

James Bond Nightfire was one hell of a game. The most noticeable difference when it comes to Everything Or Nothing is it is a completely different perspective. Third Person helps the game by making it easier to interact with the surroundings. There are extremely few camera problems and it is simple to adjust the camera. Bond is back with weapons and gadgets to trick and kill the enemies. There is the Q Spider which gets to places Bond can't reach, Dragunov which is more or less a sniper, Rappel which that helps you climb up and down walls and Nano Suit which makes you invisible for a short period of time Definetely more than 20 but I don't want to give away to much. Something else I nearly forgot to mention is the brand new hand-to-hand combat system. If Bond does well enough he will enter power mode. There are loads of exciting and thrilling missions. Some of them may require you to drive to certain places in order to complete objectives. There are lots of different vehicles like motorbikes, Aston Martin and rally car.
Most of the missions are quite simple, although there can be a few that you may get stuck on for a while. In between missions there is MI6 Interlude which upgrades your weapons and gadgets. For me I like my controls intuitive and fun. Lucky for me and everybody the controls cannot get easier. L1 to target and R1 to shoot. Left analog stick to control James and vehicles. R2 for wall cover, L2 to crouch and left or right on the d-pad( directional buttons) to enter Bond Sense. The sound is pretty clear and cool but nothing that pushes the capability of the PS2 to the MAX. Some of the best graphics for any Bond game, or any EA game for that matter. It is slick and is certainly one of the reasons this is a 5 Star game. I have nearly completed the levels in the Single Player mode. The Multiplayer well WOW! I am currently playing this now with a mate on Co-Op mode and it just entanced me to the screen. There is also Races in Multiplayer but Co-Op is super duper. Absolutely nothing beats playing with your mates. Great Single Player, Great Multiplayer and a Great game. Another EA Classic, easily matches the quality of Goldeneye. Check out my other reviews for Spiderman 2, Hulk and Fifa 2004. I hope you have found my review helpful.

EA finally made a game worthy of Bond and they've blurred the line between the games and the films at this point. Gone is the old standard FPS format. Bond is now in third person, and it's Pierce Brosnan giving the voice and face. The rest of the filmic cast is here as well. The game looks like the films.
Easily one of the better PS2 games this year. Since Medal of Honor appeared to have the same engine as the Bond games, perhaps they'll update that series with the Bond game third person. You feel like you're acting out an action sequence from the film, and it blows away the feel of Nightfire and its predecessor. The violence is top notch, the gadgets are great, and the game is tough on Platinum level.
The game is also long, not one of those eight mission shooters you finish in a day. The weapons look and sound great, and of course they shamelessly plug new cars like the Porsche Cayenne and the Aston Martin Vanquish of the last film. Plain fun, even if you're not a Bond fan. It's a shame they have to stick to Teen ratings for the franchise, but blood might push the game higher.
I don't remember the story, and it doesn't matter. The same people who write the films are now writing the games. Even the guy who writes the Bond novels now was a video games designer. It's all the same. Willem Defoe joins the ranks of video game actors, as does Heidi Klum and even John Cleese. There is now little difference between the films and the games, effectively. The game even has little MI6 interludes, like the films, and there is a the requisite visit to Q Branch to get your new gadgets and heavily armed cars. There are also bonus combat simulators thrown in. There's good variety in the missions, too. Some heavily rely on stealth, some on driving, or flying, and others on plain combat. The hand-to-hand combat is a lot of fun, too. No more cheesy flying fists. Bond (as Brosnan) can now break out killer moves, even while clad in his Brioni tuxedo.
Highly recommended shooter, a lot of fun. Justice to the Bond name.
Good job "EA"

5 Stars.Well "EA" has done it again. They created another awesome game(besides "lord of the rings" that is)."EA" deliver's awesome action game play for the system's.Some game's seem like they were made for a certain system. And in my perspective this one was made for the PS2.And "sonic hero's" should Never be for the PS2&XBOX.Anyway's "Everything or Nothing" delivers decent gameplay. And of course I have to complain about the aiming.Because when you aim you don't really fell like your doing anything. You simply tap L1 and Bond literally aim's at anyone. This game is really difficult so don't just ecspect to zoom through it.The motercycle is a real good addition. Why,because it's equipped with a flamethrower and you get a shotgun. The gun variety isn't big since "EA" decided to make it more realistic.Once you lock onto an enemy you can adjust your aiming for a headshot. The new fist fighting was a good idea.Better then the old game's when you just simply punched.Multiplayer is rather odd. It's not bad but will keep you in your friend's occupied for a while. And trust me battle arena
get's old fast.On multiplayer you cant even choose your character. There is a decent amount of 2 player cooperation.Just like on the 4th co-op level 1 person has to disarm a bomb while the other guard's his back. The stealth at time's is a little weird.Enemies seem to be able to spot you to easily.Or maybe it's just that one mine level.I don't know. The best co-op level in my opinion is when you have to fight and survive until a door open's.Well hear's what I think of everything.
(out of 5)
Graphic's:5 Nice and smooth.
Weapons'S:4 Maybe if they had a little more then 6 it would be better.
Sound:4 So-so
Lighting:4 Can't quite beat "Splinter cell".
Replay value:4 won't last forever
Toatel score:21
Pro's
I like third person better then FPS.
Good clean graphic's.
New gadget's are cool.
All 6 gun's have good shooting effect's
Con's
Multiplayer need's work.
Aiming need's work.
Am I the only one who think's they stole idea's from"Splinter cell"
So in conclusion all I can say is "EA" please fix the aiming.
Bye!!!
This is a great game just needs more freedom

Pros:
1.Lots of KuNg Fo action, kneeing your enemy in the groeing, throwing them over your shoulder into 20 foot drops or just to the groung and then punching them while there down.
2.Lots of ENTERTAINING deaths, driving a motorcycle at 70 mph and using the flamethrower on the bike next to you;and seeing a FLAMING CARCASS tumble down the highway while geting hit by cars.
3.Challenging co-op, takes skill there are lots of levels too and a whole nother story line
and there are no cheats for it
4.lots of gadgets
5.Great graphics
6. Fight like a Scoundrul!!!! Use bottles, crow bars, sledge hammers, goblets and more to give your opponent a painful and exotic death.
CONS:
1.not much freedom, you shoot a civilian and fail the mission which is especially annoying on car missions. does not fill the need for unneccessary destruction.
2.its too easy to beat single player even on 00 agent
3.like all bond games from EA,this has no blood(a bad thing). just needs more violence, more freedom.
4. needs more weapons, only 1 kind of rocket launcher, 1 kind of sniper rifle.
5. death match arena is really boring, its on 1 screen.
All in all this game is certainly worth $20 co-op will entertain you as long as your playing with somebody that knows what there doing.
P.S. THIS IS A GOOD REVIEW RATE IT A "YES" please
A bit over the top.

But I guess that's why we're here. It is James Bond, after all. I'd have to say that this game is a world apart from any James Bond game that came before it, including the classic GoldenEye from the 90's. Classics can be topped, it seems.
The graphics are seamless. It's incredible to zoom in to get a closeup of Pierce Brosnan right in the middle of all the action. The explosions are properly explosive, the set action scenes characteristically ridiculous. If you're a Bond fan, you'll love it.
One particular scene comes to mind, the point at which you know you're James Bond: a scantily clad woman is pushed out of a hellicopter, and you (in a suit, of course) jump off a cliff and literally fly down to catch her, without wires or parachute, before she hits the ground, all the while dodging tree branches, rocks, and assorted debris sticking out of the rock face while you fall. It's astounding to behold.
The gameplay is quite good as well. Besides the large assortment of guns and ammo, there are some particularly wonderful gadgets, like a remote control spider and a rappel wire (from which you can, of course, shoot your guns while working your way down a sheer wall). A responsive targeting system helps keep you from spilling your martini.
Great actors, their voices, and their likenesses abound in the game. Pierce Brosnan, Judi Dench, John Cleese, Willem Dafoe, and a host of others offer their talents to create the experience, and all in all you have at least ten hours of Bond fun, not to mention the secrets to uncover, the many difficulty levels, the fabulous levels in which you fly hellicopters, drive motorcycles, and defy death.
For anyone remotely interested in Bond who happens to have a modern game system, you should take heed not to miss this rare treat.
