Insane 2D fighter

This game is one of the best 2D fighters I've ever played. Now adays you normally have to play in 3D unless your friend decides to pull out his old system. This game is the best of street fighter with all the tricks and depth of marvel vs Capcom only better.

this anime sequel was ALOT better than the first

now this was a TIGHT game givin the old charecters new moves with new charecters and secret ones to new features like burst, story mode,and mission mode. but i warn you it can get frustrating at times but if you are a fan of anime items like the dragonball series than my advice is get this it is tight. one thing they could have done was put english voice overs but they have subtitles this game will work your thumbs.

If you hate this game, chances are 9/10 that you suck in it.

In my opinion, it's by far the best 2-d fighting game of all time. The reason why I say best is because unlike Marvel vs Capcom 2, this game actually requires a lot of skill to master instead of button mashing. If you button mash in this, you will get dominated by veterans of this game. I'll also just make a list to make this easy and quick.

Pros:
Graphics. Best 2-d graphics in any game. Just about every art in this game is anime art. It beats Street Fighter's sprite graphics for sure.

Music. I've not even seen one complaint about the music. And I'm not complaining either. Fans of hard rock and Metallica are gonna love this music. The best thing about the music is that it shows the characters personality (every character has thier own song). For example, Chipp Zanuff's song is like fast, punk rock where if you see him, it definetly suits him.

Characters. I have not even seen one character that is not original in this game.....Ok, maybe Robo-Ky, but that's cause he's a robot of one of the main characters, Ky-Kiske. I swear, these characters are 100% original. We got Faust (some of you may know him as Dr. Baldhead) who's ten feet tall, fights with a gigantic scapel that's nearly as big as him, and wears a friggin paper bag over his head. There's also Johnny. If that guy doesn't scream out style, then I don't know what does.

Story mode. Unlike Street Fighter and King of Fighters, Sammy actually give us a unique story mode to make the story more clear, and in my opinion, make the game look better by using this. The best part is that you actually have a chance to choose your own path in the story.

Cons:
Difficulty. While it doesn't throw me off seeing that I'm up to maniac level, some will just want to throw the controllers on the floor cause of the difficulty. I-no can seriously piss people off at the end of the game (cause of her trick where she shoots out a million balls at you and you have to dodge them or else kiss half of your health goodbye).

Japanese language. Although I don't hate this, a lot other people hate that they all speak in Japanese and not in English. I don't really care that much.

There ya go. I seen some people hating this game for no reason what so ever. Like the person who rated this 1 star just cause the person thought that the game was called Guilty Gear times 2 (which it's really called Guilty Gear X2. not times 2), and that person didn't even give out any good reasons why the person hated it. This is what happens when 3d takes over. Makes people hate 2d for good. It's a shame really....er, whatever. Anyway, this is definetly a must buy. It beats Street Fighter any day in my opinion.

Anime and a fighting game in one!

By far Guilty Gear X2 is a fantastic fighting game that combines anime style characters and environments, a metal and rock soundtrack that is worth getting or simply listening from the options menu, and replay value thats definitely worth your money. The fighting system is almost like a mix of Street Fighter and Mortal Kombat(if your familiar with Hadoken then you know what I mean^^)and is relatively easy to pick up. I highly recommend this and the soundtrack cause they both rock!!

Just get it. Please.

Look, I could go on and on about it's zany characters, beautiful backgrounds, wonderfully drawn sprites, balanced characters, unique special attacks, absolutely phonomenal soundtrack, wonderful 'tension' system, etc etc etc...

But there's too much to say.

Just buy it. It's worth it.

I feel Guilty not buying this title sooner!

I'm gonna try to keep this short and sweet, this game totally ROCKS!, its 2d at its best, the graphics and colors are so viberant and the game play is so sweet with awesome combos that can be chained to other combos, needless to say this game is no walk in the park, with each level the game becomes harder and harder to beat so it will challenge your skills and if thats not enough the fun factor will leave you hungry for more, this game is a must have for fighting fans alike, totally recommended.
