I was a little disapointed at the beginning of X-2 , but the game began to interest me when I found out that Yuna was searching for Tidus. Which If you played X the ending really needed to solved. I liked how the Chacters changed in X-2 and the ending was good ending was worth it. I recommend this game for it's battle mode, graphics, and finshing Yuna's love story.

As a person who has played basically ever RPG in existence and has a special affinity for FF i have to say this game is just bad, this is the first true sequel to FF but thats not necessarily a good thing, FF was kept fresh through constant switching of storyline, expansive worlds, summons, and a large cast of playable characters but all of this is gone creating a mediocre game. i mean FFX was one of the worst RPG'S i ever played but this game is sacralige to the FF universe.graphics don't make a game,a good storyline with many options and characters do, they have killed for me what was once the greatest RPG series of all time. For shame squaresoft for shame.i suggest anyone who wants a good FF game go out and pick up a used ff vii cause thats squaresoft at its best, this is trash

FFX has been the best game I have ever played! My husband and I bought it based on a demo we received after purchasing the playstation 2. The graphics were so awesome that we just had to get it based on that alone! At the beginning we were like, "HUH?" We didn't know what was going on, but all you gotta do is sit back and enjoy the ride and you are in another world, the world of Final Fantasy. With the use of the Strategy guide we beat the game over and over! Now, we just play because we love introducing it to our friends when they come over. My only wish and desire is if they could make it so that you could play on different difficulty levels. This way it won't be as easy a second or a third time around. But I am looking forward to FFX2! I cannot wait, I know it will be even better than the first! SO BUY, BUY, BUY!!!

deamin: FFX-2 is infact the first ALL FEMALE-LED FF GAME.. meaning.. you don't control the males.. at all... At least.. not that I know of.. I haven't really played FF3/6.. but I do know that you start out as a girl named Terra.. and some other things... but that's about it... FFX-2 will be the best game in my book. FFX is my all-time favorite now.. so yeah.. I can't wait until it's out.. sadly.. which won't be until Dec. 2nd due to a glitch in the game...

For fans of the original game, this sequel won't dissapoint you. You get to meet all of your favorite characters, as well as meet a good variety of new ones. I usually hate ATB systems, but it just simply works in this game. I love how the game is a lot less linear, you can do whatever you want. Half the fun is doing optional quests to get 100% story completion. I've beaten the game myself twice, once with just the main quests, and one with all optinal quests. There really was never a dull moment. I highly reccomend this game anyone that's beaten the original FFX. Otherwise, the storyline just won't make sense to you.
The best one in the series

Ok lets start off by saying that the graphics have improved just a little and only in battles but that doesnt matter since the graphics in the first one were great. The story is both funny and amazing and its long too. The new job system is great but a bit confusing since the battles go in a very fast space now that they are in real time so the enemys can give you a bit of a hard time when changing dress spheres. the only thing bad about this game is..., ..., well i cant think of any right now but ill leave that to you.
Must Buy For FF Fans

Final Fantasy X-2 departs from the usual track set by its predecesor (Final Fantasy X which must be played to fully appreciate the sequel) and ultimately creates a whole new gameplay experience. While the graphics may look indentical, the combat system has been completely redone with inspirations from the standard turn-based system, Chrono Trigger, Grandia, and Final Fantasy Tactics, all in in one. The battle system is rather complex, and it may take a little (it did for me in any case) to get a handle on it. The story also departs from the darker, more emotional story of Final Fantasy X, and as a whole, is more lighthearted and may not appeal to all RPG fans.
*GASP* A sequel? What's the deal here....

Wow, for the first time in its great history, a traditional Final Fantasy gets a sequel. While a lot of people wanted it for VII, lucky number ten got the game that continues the original's storyline. Does it live up? Yes and no.
With this game being a sequel, Squenix decided to mix it up a whole bunch, try things they would never try in a normal FF game. Some of these things work: The mission based system, non-linear storyline, all female crew, all work to a great effect. The platform jumping, the Charlie's Angel-esque posing, and the even more embarrassing script doesn't.
The game picks up where the last left off. Yuna lets her hair down and starts the profession of sphere hunting. Along with X's Rikku and new character Paine, Yuna stumbles across a sphere with an image that may or may not be the man that disappeared so abruptly. Is it? Maybe...
Just because this game has those two special words in the title doesn't mean that you should go out and buy it immediately. While the changes that they make work for the most part, it didn't work wholly for me. Being a long time fan of the series, it was great to see a sequel, and will be great to see more, but this first one didn't really do it. Other hardcore fans will probably want to rent it first while new comers to the series will probably dive in. Just remember that this is not what you may have expected from Final Fantasy.
this is a game to enjoy

ff-x was great it set a standard in rpg industry.
their are two types of pwople ,who loves ffx and who hates
it . the reason is simple .
actual advertized product did not come as one expeted or
exactly expected.
so those two group come to one conclusion .
"we want to just enjoy nothing moe nothing less"
yu-ri-pa is square's angels just enjoy the game as you
enjoyed charlie's angels, that easy!
you dont have to clear ffx to play this game
it's a standalone amusement.
A great game

This is truly a great game. The sequel from Final Fantasy X, you play as Yuna as you go around the planet you are on, Spira, fighting fiends (monsters) and other opponents. The gameplay is awesome, you can decide which way you want the story to turn and there are many plot twists. You can play this over and over again and never get bored. The battle mode is good, although it plays a little like a gameboy and you can simply press attack over and over again and defeat most enemies like that. The graphics arn't as good as Final Fantasy X, they could have been made way better. Aside from all that, this is truly a great game and I love it.
