Ever sick and tired of default characters to pick from? Wish you could make your own character, make all his appearences the way you want it, even give him a PHAT ride, then this is the game for you! I mean, this game's wide range of customizing options makes you crave for more, because not only can you make your character the way you want it, but then you can even show your friends who is boss. Not even Tony Hawk's customization can compare to this, this is truly a game of customizing. Plus, if you dig the rappers already in the game, then you're gonna have a hard time liking just one, I mean you got cats like Method Man, Lil' Flip, Ludicrious, and thats just the beginning!!! If you'e into competition, and you love to kick some ass, then this is the game you're gonna wanna get, so stop playing that wimpy Tony Hawk, and go buy a real game thats worth the money-Fight For NY.

This game was da bomb. you got to fight one on one, two on two, or free for all with mad peoplez like Fat Joe, Busta Rhymes, Sean Paul, Bonecrusher, and way more. You also get to choose a girlfriend, like Lil Kim, Kimora Lee Simmons, Shawnna, Carmen Electra, or more ( i picked c.e.) The more fights you win, the more $$$ you get, and the more bling or threads you get. But this game.

This game is mad fun. You get to make your own player, you get to make how he looks, talks, and fights. You fight against mad people including Sean Paul, David Banner, Omar Epps, Fat Joe, and Snoop Dogg. You get to pick a girlfriend like Lil' Kim, Carmen Electra, Shawnna, and Kimora Lee Simmons. You get to beat up hip hop stars in fights. You can crack them on the head with bottles, chairs, bricks, etc. When you win, you get $$$, and with the money, you can buy clothes, bling, tatoos, and get a haircut. Im telling you, its worth $50.

i don't realy like Hip-Hop, but....

ok, i'm not really a hip hopper (I listen to Ska and punk for Allah's sake), and i could hardly point out which of the people in the game were real and which weren't (with the exception of Henry Rollins's bad ass and Flava Flav from Public Enemy). that being said, this is one of the coolest video games i've ever played. the voice acting and graphics are phenomenal, but that's not even the heart of the game. it's got one of the best fighting engines i've ever seen in a game. it takes quite a few fights and some serious blood to get the hang of it, and even more to get good at it, but once you do the game really picks up. the customization is great and the ability to really progress in the game is awesome, too. overall, i loved this game. and to anyone who calls this game overrated, you show me a fighting game i'd like more. you're probably just mad because you couldn't handle the fact that a game was actually challenging for you. good job, game, you get seven gold stars on the bulletin board! Yay!

This game rocks my underwear. You first have to buy panty hose. Then u go and have fun with the ladies. U go fishing and get a fish then u make the fish drunk. It starts talking to u. This is a fun game. U walk around naked also walking in circles in the middle of downtown. All the "men" cheer u on. U can play as spongebob with a code. U have to find it at the theworstgamesever.com. His special is he punches his face 3 times and then pees on a car he sees. Bye Bye i am goin to play Def Jam ya baby. This game reminds me of Barney the dinosaur.

This is the most addicting game i have played since Halo. i couldn't drop the controller the graphics are great and the violence is only limited to your imagination it is truley one of the most addicting games i have ever played

It's nice when a company has faith in it's unique franchises. And with a company as big as E.A., you would have faith too.

I'm talking about Def Jam: Fight for NY. Boasting some of the biggest names in both hip-hop fashion and talent (who lend their voices to the game) really adds to the authenticity of the culture the game portrays.

The fighting engine is easily compared to the classic wrestling titles on the N64. This is a good thing, as some will say these are some of the best games of the genre.

There are 5 fighting styles, which as you progress, allow mixing between them. With unlockable's including wrestlers, venues, and merchandise, there is plenty to keep you playing. Fans of fighters and hip-hop shouldn't miss this one.

this game is off the hook. At first i thought it would not be good becuz of all the ppl in it and thought the idea of hip hop artists may not work. but boy was i wrong. this game has the best storyline i have ever seen in a fighting game. great voice overs by the artists. create-a-player is one of the best I've seen. This is a funny, serious and fun game. Multi-player is what really matters in a fighting game, this game doesn't dissapoint. it has fun multiplayer modes like demolition match and free for all. And its 4-player. Also at first i was never into music, but after playing this game and listening to the music, iwas like whoa this is great, so now i lsten to joe budden all the time.

This game should be compared to no other. It is simply amazing. The graphics are the greatest i have ever seen since final fantasy 10. The game is very hard tho, which is a warning to all, because it gets very frustratiing! Game is woth the money and your time enough said.
